On April 16th 2024 Rockstar game’s parent company Take2Interactive has decided to lay off about 5% of its work force i.e. in terms of numbers it is going to get rid of 600 employees out of its total workforce. This news is very shocking to the entire gaming community because we all are eagerly waiting for Grand Thef Auto 6 and GTA 6’s release is right around the corner, and the entire world knows about it! But then the question arises why is Take2Interactive laying off employees before such a big release!
Rockstar won’t mess up this big of a title hopefully. Their track record holds a lot of credibility. The part that truly makes ma sad is that other game companies are failing to deliver quality products for quite some time now. The industry can’t just depend on handful few studios like Rockstar
