I have a lot of fun with her. She’s incredibly goofy and I like it.
I also still think with that grapple, she will be a decent counter to Chisake. Theoretically she could jump over his BS, grapple to him, and start doing a combo
It's slower than you think. I played with a decent Chisaki unranked last night and he had time to block whenever I did it
Ali Motamed I’m not surprised a GOOD Chisake could maneuver it. I’m mainly talking about Chisake players that just spam and do nothing else
That's a thing I like about her I play Chisaki and I'm now playing her both are so fun and cool

PhantomOlympian as a chisake player i enjoy only using those moves as a free plus ultra hit or to help my combos

Finally coming back to this game for her. Mei is a great character. I love playing low tier, often weird characters in games. Which is why I was hoping for light yagami in jump force 😂😂

DLC Characters are rarely worth for in most cases they are ones who could or should've been on the base game

I think she is, she is super fun! I've been using her all day since I got her on Xbox, super fun buut she isn't very strong her damage should be increased in my opinion combos and plus ultra 2 but she is so fun to use I love her character and in this game. If you like some damage but enjoyment is more important I'd get her, she is playable and you can win as her but her damage makes it harder but it's possible

I've been using fropy as a support to stop the dizziness after the spin
Just wanted to add that her spin move can make projectiles back fire so she can go up against alot of zoners

She’s a fun shenanigans character, so I just hope that when she gets buffed it isn’t in a way that promotes zoning.
I personally think she is much better than you are giving her credit for. From a jab, she can get an 8.6k combo and from a grounded yellow, she can get an 8.7k combo, and that’s only stuff that I’ve found personally. Her approach options are fantastic and her net breaks nearly every projectile in the game, shutting down spammers and zoners. She can attack and pull you in from a huge range with her grapple hooks too. Every single combo can be finished by a plus ultra because the net will bring the opponent to the floor, and she seems to generate meter way faster than other characters. Both of those combined mean that you’ll likely be getting hit by a lot of plus ultra attacks in every match against her. Even your “optimal” combo isn’t optimal, even if it’s only by a hundred or so points, the combo I’ve come up with is stronger and works in more situations than your optimal combo
It might just be me, but I don’t think Mei is weak at all.
Technical, yes, but definitely not weak. She's my style of character, where you really have to pay attention to what attacks you use and not just use the same max damage BNB the whole match. Personally, I've found she has a crazy amount of different routes that work in every possible situation, she also has a guaranteed wall crash from anywhere on screen. She gets combos from anything, even her held barrel. Her armor moves aren't really talked about, but they are both pretty good. I'd say she's pretty strong in the right hands. Oh, and don't get me started on her resets. If she's up against anyone who can't just guard consistently, they should expect to be reset into oblivion.
These two players are making this game look really well made! getting it eventually!
She's fun not gonna lie "Spin to win" is something I mess around with ofline but if anything her assit is good might use with Momo. As I like her shield and sword combo what with the shield being able to go through projectiles. Mei is one of my favorite characters from the show but Momo is a second after playing in MHOJ2 and also from the show
I actually like if the DLC characters aren't stronger, otherwise we'll just have the mobile games problem, eventually only the new characters matter and the old characters becomes so weak nobody play them
But it would be nice if they aren't trash

Strange that dlc should sell from hype and how op the char is, but idk if mei is that popular, I think is a wierd choice for dlc.
I bought the deluxe edition of the game which apparently came with the season pass and whenever I open the game, it says add on content available, but I haven't been able to get hawks nor mei. Can anyone help?

Mount Lady can't work, they would need to shrink her down (and that would go against her Quirk). As for Midnight, her outfit is M-rated level of lewd, she puts Camie to shame.

Haven't watched the video, but this is my personal take on Mei's overall gameplay.
I personally love mei's gameplay. The number one thing I like about her is that some of her BnB's don't require any meter to execute, so she can build up meter with relative ease! Also, her grapple move grants her tons of mobility if used right, and her unblockable can lead to some very exiting situations! She takes a little bit to get used to, but GODDAMN is there reward!
I don't care how good she is, I finally got a chance to own all characters out since nomu was given out, and now I have to own her
Its worth the money because we can finally prove that a high school girl with scope eyes can beat all for one
Smash Bros really implanted it onto people minds that if it's DLC it must be absolutely busted in some way
or just interesting enough to spend additional money on
Mei seems like a kinda odd character for dlc. But I cant think of much else they could add

In training mode I threw plus ultra 1 and it missed so I reset the positions and went for plus ultra 2 just to see what it’s like, but just before I used it the barrel from plus ultra 1 actually came back and hit the opponent so I got damage from both. I doubt this is useful for any real games but maybe if you throw a plus ultra 1 in neutral it can lead to some other setups if you’re far away?

They removed Chisaki's air target combo loop and I honestly have no clue why because it wasn't too strong to begin with. And Chisaki is my main which is a shame :, )
Wasn’t it an infinite? Their approach in both games has been trying to shorten really long loop combos or prevent infinites

@@GBLYN97Then it was pretty much a guaranteed for being removed from Chisaki. I'm kinda glad, Chisaki and AfO kinda hurt my enjoyment of the game's online.
@@breezierchip8355 yeah afo's yellow move got nerfed and his grab (steal quirk thing) got buffed to have more tracking. They kept tamakis loops in tho so I think they just wanted to nerf chisaki and thought that was the best place to do it

How weird is a game that has weak DLC characters. Usually, games have broken or at least powerful dlc. Is do hard to find a mid point lmao
SFV does do that right, at least. Can't remember any particularly strong DLC characters save Abigail and he was fixed quickly. Apparently MK does as well.

Mei is fun, a bit technical for the average player though.
I suspect someone will discover some bullshit with her or some optimized combos. Day 1 impressions mean little. Really her problem is damage from what I can see. Her unique movement and reliance on yellow can be worked around.

I mean... she's difficult for sure and even me technically being a "noob" to the game that only plays AI modes, she's still fun to me which is most importantin any game. I also love her as a character, very comedic. 😂

Here is my reveiw it is a fun game and is really good but for people who like a more balanced system this game is lacking in that department (In my opinion) if you like customizing characters to look how you like you will love it but I recommend looking at the reveiws first before buying

These dlc characters are really disappointing, being characters the fan wants but blocked by a pay wall, although Mei is relatively stronger and a better character overall, it's still weak compared to most other characters, and both Mei and Hawks were fan favorites yet blocked by the said pay wall.
Yeah, the only good game with dlc is dragon ball fighter z because the dev stay improve the game while my hero one justice already 2. The dev probably milking dlc char and in future will make one justice 3 has one justice 2 dlc char in the base game
