One minute in and I'm already glad I watched this video. This needs to be said, and I'm not exempt from it. It's easy to let your subconcious think that you lost because a character is BS. But the reality is, you probably didn't go into training mode to study how to beat that, and for that you're not holding your L.

Dalo Dulo actually yes they can just as easily and some even can do it even easier. GT goku is no where near as good as season 2. His auto combo not as good anymore doesn’t go as far as it doesn’t catch back dash after vanish anymore and he lost his spirit bomb mix. He good sure but a lot more balanced

@@ballaaaaaa There are som that you can't do anything, wich is problem. I play Zamasu, Janemba and Krillin, the only level 3 on my team that is good against Goku is Krillin's, the rest of them cannot hit him if he flips.

I think it's more to do with people
1. Seeing kid buu way more than other characters
2. He's been top tier since day 1
3. The people that play gogeta, videl, jiren, etc. Even if they are Gods like wawa don't get rewarded as much as a bardock or a kid buu and that's just not even the players fault, it's the character's fault and that's what frustrates people.
That's why you see people sometimes change to top tiers and they do get better results. Either way I know and get what your saying but it's not just the peoples mindset, it's why we want more buffs than nerfs we want to see more characters and not the same 4 all the time

I don't believe there are op characters, I know characters like Kid Buu takes some training before playing him with his full potential. Also Goku GT is pretty balanced I would say and I'm someone who used to hate him in season 2.
BUT there is one exception imho on this topic and that is UI Goku, that character just takes out the fun from any match (at least for me, I roll my eyes everytime I see I'm about to fight him), he has way to many tools to work with and he does some heavy damage even from light starters.
Agreed, He is so powerful and he is so good a doging and countering and i fought one that would do light,light,Medium,medium,heavy the flip and it would med but i did beat him, but he just plays his own game tbh

People hate characters because some characters can get you good results with minimal effort. For example, why do I have to practice in the lab for 15 hours to get good with gogeta mixups and combos if my block strings less true than bardock's autocombo on loop.

Yes but you understand that i characters in any fighting game range from straight forward and easy to tough as hell all to do the same quality stuff? This isn't new. This is to cater to playstyles despite system mechanics and metas making some more difficult. So yes, you can get upset. But no, you cannot hold up pitch forks demanding a balanced character be nerfed just because he is easier. There are tough characters considered higher then easy ones, such as Trunks being above Goku Black.

Idk man, i love every character, most of the time i want more buffs than nerfs, even the cheap ones. Also: GIVE SJ GOKU HIS 2M BACK, NO ONE LIKED THAT CHANGE.

i wish ui goku was nerfed for the soul fact that people will stop being mad at me when i use him
I think the biggest issue is that even after repeated attempts to nerf certain characters like Bardock and Kid Buu along with buffs to other characters those two somehow stay sitting at the top. Bardock has been top meta since the day he was released. It took some time for people to discover Kid Buu and he has been there ever since. You then have UI goku who for some reason has every single thing a character needs to make them a good pick in this game.
You can learn the match ups but lets all be honest. It takes way more hours to learn Gogeta Vs UI goku than it does being UI Goku against Gogeta. Its an uphill battle for every single character in the roster that are not them. The best you do get is even or fair with them. Are they busted? Nope but there is still a gap between them and the other characters that sit in the same Tier bracket as them. You go lower on the tier list and it becomes worst.
Now if you are playing to win and not use your favorite characters then play the top tiers. People say they are not instant wins but you will improve with them while winning noticeably more. It won't be a cake walk but it also won't be hair pulling to improve.
That's pretty much tells you clearly that this game is nowhere near being "balanced".

Most of my characters I pick aren’t because they are great or better (even if they are/were) I pick my characters off of how cool they are. I mainly use gogeta blue, either ssb goku (cause blue kaioken is badass) or base goku (cause kaioken is badass) for my second pick, and third is either super broly cause he feels like monke or roshi cause: old man funny guy. But yea I usually pick based off of how much I like the character.

Goku GT and Kid Buu, like all everyone else, can be punished. But there buttons, neutral game, hitbox are always gonna have them in S-A+ tier

the issue is more in how for a lot of people goku gt is just not fun to play against or watch being played, its not about his fun to playness or opness. and personally that same applys to cell, majin buu, 16 and z broly on top of gt.
oh and also i hate playing against all vegetas cause hes a midget even tho he doesnt look like it so i always forget he's too small for a lot of stuff to hit him

It's not all excuses for losing. A lot of people just happen to hate fighting Kid Buu, Base Vegeta, Z Broly, Yamcha and etce. But yeah if you play Vegito stay away from me.
Base goku” I top tier no one hates” yeah because he isn’t cheap. He’s got good all around tools and a level 3 with a fair and rewarding pay off. Blue goku can one inch punch you faster than you can say “hehe watch him dragon rush me” and my friend had a broken controller today with Z Broly, he literally couldn’t press x and he still killed a character.
GokuUI is a FUCKING nightmare when the person playing him has a brain, which is not a requirement.

The only thing that bugs me about high tier characters is how much they get used, and how the majority of the roster gets ignored, and even ruled as being bad when they're perfectly viable. On the other hand I use Broly cause he's one of my favorite characters from the series, and I know that the same can be said for people that use UI Goku, Kid Buu, Teen Gohan, etc.

My friend has several zoning builds that make me want to punch a hole through my monitor and they both include Freiza or Goku
Almost nothing has changed with Broly from Season 2 to Season 3. They removed fuzzies which in turn kind of buffed him, however his moves and properties pretty much remained the same. He's always been this good.
I don't think people care that GT Goku isn't the menace he used to be. Due to having to deal with his bullshit for MONTHS, I think most people just can't let go of their hatred for the rat.
Same goes for Kid Buu at this point. Even if he did get nerfed to just being a Top 15 character, people would still hate him due to him being a menace for YEARS.
As a kid buy main, I totally agree with you, he can do basically anything, but you need to lab him, from all the top tier, maybe except trunks, he is the most non brainless character.(but he’s still the safest character in the game)

Really? I thought he was kinda easy since he has all the tools. He doesn’t have a weird air 2H like jiren or zamasu so you can just do regular combos with him and use his ridiculous nuetral for an easy experience.
I actually play both Kid Buu and Trunks, they're so fun to play. (I run Kid Buu, Majin Buu, and Trunks if anyone wanted to know)

I run Janemba, Kefla, and cooler I just chose them because they were fun and not because they are good or anything, and I agree that fighterz is on of the most balanced fighting games I have ever played
I think its still important to focus on characters you personally are inexperienced/ weak against so you can know all the options these characters have on wake up or to extend combos during block strings. I'm not saying that you should say certain characters are too good but if you realize you are weak against certain opponents its always a good idea to understand that so you know what to do next time

I’m a base vegeta main and now working on majin buu and piccolo
I tend not to think about the tier of most characters, but I definitely see the act of fighting some characters better than others. For example I don’t hate UI Goku because fighting him is a battle of wits. But, Z-Broly is significantly less fun to fight because I don’t like the way I have to fight him to win.
Also, I find it funny how GT Goku players fell by half less than a week after he got nerfed.
Oh I don’t hate these characters. I FEAR them. Kid Buu is just so chaotic so I don’t know what he’s going to try, and I have no idea on what the DLC characters moves are (besides UI & Kefla because that’s the only DLC characters I have.)

I don't hate a character because he is "top tier" or because the community says I should. I hate a character when I don't find joy in playing him and get annoyed while fighting him. I usually have only one character at most whom I hate and in this game it's z broly. Just felt like sharing this but you're probably still right about me not having to hate the character
You’re only fooling yourself if you think the character you play doesn’t make a difference, try being a Frieza main in a game where a grappler is a better zoner than you. It’s always people who play strong af characters who say characters don’t matter.
I think that the reason people hate top tiers is not because they are top tiers it’s that they don’t know how to fight the top tire
Example- i don’t hate Goku GT I hate that I don’t know how to fight him and it’s the same thing with gogeta. Even though gogeta isn’t top tier but in the lower tiers I can’t fight that character to save my life.
With blueku whenever you block a sd in the air you can challenge them with a 236L. It works wonders for me against kid buu sd dive ball.

I feel like people should be careful about complaining about characters. Each new patch can lead to another character becoming broken and I'm so happy with the balance of this game that I'm actually worried the next patch will ruin that balance. You can really play any character right now and even though some need buffs, I don't know if anything should be nerfed. I wish they could put in an option to preserve this patch so we don't risk losing it lol.

The pb with this game is that first there are lot of hitbox issues and second DLC are completely unbalanced compared to standard characters.... when you play a basic team versus 3 DLC is a bit playing against cheated team..
