@@Upstate330 Good to know, thanks! Funny how this started for me. My 2015 328ix was in the shop for a taillight issue and my loaner was similar, just without the M sport package. Also wanted to wanted to mention that it's not you, I too took a long trip and it wallowed a lot on the highway at high speeds and I kept thinking it's probably just the wind but there was no wind. @@jeffcicale thanks! Glad to know I’m not going crazy! I only drove the previous gen 3 series and bought this one sight unseen and have been loving it so far.
@@Upstate330 Hell no your not crazy! Aside from that, it was an amazing four day run. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it as it'll be my first new car. Have to admit, if I didn't see your video I'd be a little bit more on the anxious side because I didn't know what this combo would look like and it's just amazing.
BMW was an aspirational car for me so needless to say I love my 440i but coming from a Lexus ownership my biggest gripe is the BMW dealership experience compared to Lexus is night and day. Lexus dealership has the best customer service top to bottom.
I’ll admit having had 2 Lexus’ before. The dealer experience is amazing. However, some of the nicest dealerships I’ve visited have been BMW. Haaberstad BMW in Long Island has a beautiful facility. That’s were I got my 530i. The two dealers in Albany aren’t anything special.
Yup! I87! I was originally looking at an m340i before this car. Ultimately I like the exterior of this LCI more than the previous version. But if performance is what you are looking for.. I say go for the used m340i. The way interest rates are now buying new 330i would cost more for less power. The m340i would be a lot of fun!
Yes that is correct it does wonder a bit for the reason the steerong wheel feels disconnected from the road. Just put the steering wheel in sport mode all the time that gets rid off correcting it 75% and adjust you steering wheel manually.
So true. I have tried eco individual with steering in sport. And it had a noticeable difference. I wonder can comfort individual be configured the same way? I’ll try to see later.
Have you been able to find a fix or configure the drive mode to further reduce the steering issue? I've read plenty of complaints about this, and it's probably the biggest thing that would prevent me from pulling the trigger on this car.
@@davee.4982 what I do is configure eco pro. Under eco pro individual I adjust the steering to sport. It stiffens it up a decent amount to where you do not not need too much correction. However, you are then in eco mode. Sometimes I use steering intervention. That works great on strident highways, but once you get to curves and conduction/ tight lanes. Steering intervention feels dangerous.
If you want the power I’d go with the m340i. In my opinion the LCI looks better and the only drawback is the climate control usage while driving is slightly questionable. Thats about it. The 330i is fun and has decent power but nothing beats a m340i in performance

It’s been super reliable. No issues at all. This is my 3rd bmw and never had issues. And I’ve had 5 series and x5. The 3 series is one of the more reliable BMW’s. The ones with the v8s those are iffy. Honestly that’s a pretty good deal for 25k. When new it was probably like 47-50k

I got a new 430i 3 weeks ago. It’s been in the shop for the last week with less than 1000 miles on it. Climate control only can blow cold air.
