Hi Warrow. This is my first comment on your channel. You are spot on with your assessment of the 2 bikes. I own 3 Enfields including a 500 Trials. I went for a ride yesterday and I'm sure I had a smile on my face the whole way. In my opinion if they were to release a Born Again 500 it would sell like hot cakes. The power of the 500 and the quality/lack of vibrations would be a winner. I love the torque, power and sound of the 500 and I put up with the vibrations that are not too bad on my bike. There is no bike in the anything like the 500. It is unique. I will close by stating that you have captured the soul of the 500 in your beautiful song that your wife sang. Brought tears to my eyes.

With my '93 Bullet 500 it was more of a hassle to replace the front wheel bearings and the engine sprocket than it would be on a modern bike. Also, don't even think about the "interesting" way they decided to do the wiring loom... Hopefully the newer 500's do not have these "features". The only thing holding me back from going for a Classic 350 is the complete lack of dealers or service agents in my area and the fact that my NC750X fits my ridiculously tall frame.
well to answer your question if say you bought a new 500 - either one you'll want to know how to fix a few items or be close to the dealer. the 350's i knew they would be good so i bought two of them. im a 500 klm round trip from the dealer. one has travelled over 5000 klm trouble free totally apart from a wonky speedo which i now have a spare. if for example i had to do a trip around australia on an enfield single 500 uce or 350 reborn - i would go straight for the 350 reborn ive had 13 new 500's and like i said i'd go for the 350 reborn.
Hi man, just now I showing to my Father your videos, he said: “The her neighbors live in 25 km each other” lol, this vision may old father have about Australia.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Beautiful scenery and I'm pleased you're still doing drone footage. If you buy a bike expecting it to be something it's not, you'll be disappointed. Buying a bike and understanding what it's designed for, you'll be happy. The 350 Classic is an amazing bike, I might just have to buy one. I never compare my bikes to each other because they're so far apart. I'm happy with them both. Take care and ride safe.
Thanks, you too! yeah i bought another cheaper drone. it does a few trick shots too so in future clips i will give it a run on some of those. i tried the steering lock on the 350 today -first time ever. i was very surprised how easy it was just to turn the ignition key to the left and it locked immediately. plus more importantly unlocked just as quick....lol i always say if in doubt just buy a bigger bike or go for a good car...lol i'm pretty happy with both 350's but it appears i only ride the halcyon grey. reson behind that unlike other enfield singles -both ride exactly the same so i just think i'm actually riding the other bike...lol all the best!
I think since the 500 is a single,I’d pay someone to pull the engine apart, put it back together properly. I love the upswept pipe on the 500 Trials. Pine plantation. I’d have a Himalayan with knobbies in that territory. I hope you and your family enjoy a great Christmas, happy New Year.
@@MrAndrew1953 maybe...lol but i have the little kawasaki klx150 and its a great go anywhere bike and weighs only 130kgs i think. its pretty good off road and being only a light weight i can take it to places i wouldn't risk on the much heavier bikes. i mainly ride or i ride solo so have to be a bit careful there. theres a lot of weight differece between the classic 350 reborn and the klx.
I have a Harley 883 iron and looking and the 350 classic haven’t decided which one yet I like the signals and the dark black red stripes. I was happy with the was you showed us it can do 100 km impressed. If you knew how much I spent on my iron it would scare you. My game plan is two get two bikes and take them with us on/ in a van 🚐 country trips and rides ect
i like the look of the black/red and i think it comes with alloy wheels with tubless tyres. in the end colour is not that important but best of all -whichever bike you pick will ride exactly the same or both mine do. all the best and good choice. enfields are great bikes at a very good price
I'd prefer a 350 to a 500, I think. More refined. I'll stick to my 390, though. Punchy, doesn't use any oil between 5,000 km oil changes, decent brakes, very good suspension, and I find it very comfortable. But if RE bought out a new Classic 500, I'd consider one. Seasonal greeting to you, Warro.
thanks.and all the best for the 2023 run. yeah i'd buy the 500 in the J motor but i wouldn't buy it as a 650 twin. reson being i like the singles as the look more old school to me. naturally the 650 is the better motor but i'd pass as i dont want to go any faster that 100 kph/60 mph plus thats the speed limit her anyway and if you don't co-opperate it could be expensive...lol
All the best for Christmas to you and family mate. Right now I'm love with the idea of a Scooter, you done a good job convincing me the xmax 300 is a great scoot, wanting to do some Freeway riding to the Bigsmoke to see Family, so maybe the 400 xmax or higher.
Happy holidays! well i still have my xmax 300 -the one with the blue wheels. only ridden it 1000 klm but when i tested the other xmax 300 i had against the forza 350 -the forza beat it on power. so i contacted a scooter place and with this new bike xmax 300 i ordered lighter rollers this should improve the pickup. id like a bit more from 0 -100 kph not concermed after that. have not fitted them yet but plan to have a go at it shortly

Very nice , man I love those little RE's , but we don't see many in Kentucky , U.S.A. , i have rode metric cruisers , and Harley-Davidson's for many years. I've owned bikes as big as 1900 c.c.'s , i would love a RE 350 Classic , and a Meteor , i would accessorize them like i do my Harleys , and be proud to do so . Have a look at my channel and see for yourself . Beautiful , and rugged country , absolutely awesome . Great video , and thanks for sharing. Cheers.

@@ridewithwarro I'm with you there. I have the XT250 and I am looking at an RE 350 Classic in Dark Stealth Black. Lots of dirt roads here in Nevada US to explore. The XT gets a rinse with the garden hose from time to time. The seat is a pain in my butt and it only holds 2.6 US gallons. That's not much when gas stations can be 120 - 170 miles apart. I love the XT and wouldnt part with it, but I want something more road comfy that I can set up with luggage for overnight trips.
Merry Christmas Warro, been watchin for a while now. I myself own a C5. If for whatever reason i could not have found one, i woulda gone for the 350 Reborn, but I prefer the torque of the old 500, as well as the 40+ years of accessories purchaseable from all over the world, mainly India, as well as the classic chrome variant, which looks better on the 500 than the 350. I do not mind the mild vibrations, as I frequent many older Harleys, which are way worse ;)
thanks and best wiskes to the festive season and a great 2023 - yeah as far as vibes go some can take them and some cant. i fit into the secons...lol but if one is not vibe concerned then the 500 does the job well looking back at my 500 runs i liked the 2 black chromes i had and i must agree the chrome in the 350 doesn't equal the black chrome in the 500's i'd like to see them come out with a black chrome 500 J motor and i will do a pre-order...lol enfield will have the buyers on a 500 J platform ...but the question is -are they listening!
@@ridewithwarro i believe, as usual, enfield might already be working on a 500 J series, OR skip it and instead use the 650 off the interceptor for their himalayans, super meteors and maybe even the classic. With how well the interceptor is doing in their target market, maybe it is saturated enough, so they wont need to invest into a 500 J series... I doubt the overall sales would amount for much. However, a good marketing team could hype up a Bullet Revival with an engine producing roughly 30-60hp as a premium motorcycle, a tribute model of sorts, and yes, i would be there with you pre ordering^^ If someone wants a classic looking new enfield today, the INT 650, continental, and classic reborn, cover most customers. RE does not produce half-assed engines, EURO5 is tough, so making a great E5 engine just for a 500 would be quite the effort. Hard to tell
Hiya Warro! Really enjoy your videos! May I know what’s the update on the FuelX Pro autotune that you fitted a while back. How’s the overall fuelling/throttle response been. I’m planning to fit a red rooster exhaust + dna filter/stage 2 cover and a fuel x pro autotune. Would love your take on this.
i fitted it again yesterday and took it for a run. so far i cant pick much difference than the stock unit. i bought one for the classic 500 and again no difference there. bike came back a bit hot too. even tried different programs from 4 to 7 and again zero. plus that flasking light can be a pain. one minute you set 3 and go up one and on 5 but you can always try one out as your looking at a stage one compared to a stock bike. i think they give a 30 day money back guarantee, mine is a stock bike and i pulled it back off. mine runs better without it...lol
@@ridewithwarro Thanks Warro. I think I'd rather go with the Lite version (only autotune) since even with the Pro, the buttons are just AFR adjusters. Going with Lite at this point is going to be a better option since I can connect the autotune and tuck it away nicely and not worry about the switches/buttons. Have you by any chance changed the air filter/exhaust systems as well?

Adv bikes are great for taller riders as most have a high seat height.
well to answer your question if say you bought a new 500 - either one you'll want to know how to fix a few items or be close to the dealer.
the 350's i knew they would be good so i bought two of them. im a 500 klm round trip from the dealer.
one has travelled over 5000 klm trouble free totally apart from a wonky speedo which i now have a spare.
if for example i had to do a trip around australia on an enfield single 500 uce or 350 reborn - i would go straight for the 350 reborn
ive had 13 new 500's and like i said i'd go for the 350 reborn.
Hi man, just now I showing to my Father your videos, he said: “The her neighbors live in 25 km each other” lol, this vision may old father have about Australia.
good one...lol tell him i said all the best for xmas and your side too...
Thanks, you too! yeah i bought another cheaper drone. it does a few trick shots too so in future clips i will give it a run on some of those.
i tried the steering lock on the 350 today -first time ever. i was very surprised how easy it was just to turn the ignition key to the left and it locked immediately.
plus more importantly unlocked just as quick....lol
i always say if in doubt just buy a bigger bike or go for a good car...lol
i'm pretty happy with both 350's but it appears i only ride the halcyon grey. reson behind that unlike other enfield singles -both ride exactly the same so i just think i'm actually riding the other bike...lol
all the best!
Happy Christmas Warro. ..best wishes to you all from England.
all the best your way too and a happy new year.
I just can't imagine giving up my 500. Love is love, right.😊
one way to look at it...all the best!
Happy Christmas Warro, wishing you the very best 2023
Thank you kindly
I think since the 500 is a single,I’d pay someone to pull the engine apart, put it back together properly. I love the upswept pipe on the 500 Trials. Pine plantation. I’d have a Himalayan with knobbies in that territory. I hope you and your family enjoy a great Christmas, happy New Year.
Great point!
@@ridewithwarro You could easily have a Himalayan for those bumpy gravel roads and keep the 350 for the tar.
Merry Christmas Warro & family.
Great advice. It’s just for potting along!
Happy holidays!
I have a Harley 883 iron and looking and the 350 classic haven’t decided which one yet I like the signals and the dark black red stripes. I was happy with the was you showed us it can do
100 km impressed.
@@ridewithwarro Good logic, Warro. 60 mph is fast enough. Thats the speed limit in Australia?
Merry Xmas from the UK.
thanks and same too...all the best for 2023!
All the best for Christmas to you and family mate. Right now I'm love with the idea of a Scooter, you done a good job convincing me the xmax 300 is a great scoot, wanting to do some Freeway riding to the
Bigsmoke to see Family, so maybe the 400 xmax or higher.
Happy holidays! well i still have my xmax 300 -the one with the blue wheels. only ridden it 1000 klm but when i tested the other xmax 300 i had against the forza 350 -the forza beat it on power.
so i contacted a scooter place and with this new bike xmax 300 i ordered lighter rollers
this should improve the pickup. id like a bit more from 0 -100 kph not concermed after that.
have not fitted them yet but plan to have a go at it shortly
Wonderful video warro & as always good honest opinion on a Brilliant Bike! Great to see the beauty out in the wild just a shame that some members of humanity don’t care what there dumping in a beautiful environment? Hope you & family had a wonderful Xmas & all the best for The New Year& thanks for sharing your ride outs 👍🏻
glad to hear you enjoyed them. some of the subs seem to like the idea that i could show some history and tourist type areas. i might look into that.
all the best for 2023
@@ridewithwarro Gotta say that’s a good idea warro
Hey Warro ,
Thanks for another years worth of entertainment.
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2023.
( Still hoping to see you do a Hitchcocks one tooth up front sprocket test on the 350🤣 )
Thanks, you too! its been an interesting year for the bikes. plus i managed to keep a few too...lol
all the best for the Xmas festive season
Very nice , man I love those little RE's , but we don't see many in Kentucky , U.S.A. , i have rode metric cruisers , and Harley-Davidson's for many years. I've owned bikes as big as 1900 c.c.'s , i would love a RE 350 Classic , and a Meteor , i would accessorize them like i do my Harleys , and be proud to do so . Have a look at my channel and see for yourself . Beautiful , and rugged country , absolutely awesome . Great video , and thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Sounds great! i will check it out for sure.
all the best!
WELL said.
Thanks Warro.
Very welcome
Finding Neutral, yes I follow his videos. He is the one that looks like a Stormtrooper always fully dressed for dirt bike riding. Good channel, but his get-up affects his audio enough to be distracting.
i will have to discuss an audio option for him. really nice wheels that guy has and beautifully optioned up too..
i'm not really for me as i dont like clean bikes...lol cars yes but i hate cleaning bikes.
some say its soothing...but i'm not some..lol
i like to get that 350 fully coated with dirt and mud and rather than wash-i like to take a photo...lol
all the best!
I do not mind the mild vibrations, as I frequent many older Harleys, which are way worse ;)
thanks and best wiskes to the festive season and a great 2023 - yeah as far as vibes go some can take them and some cant. i fit into the secons...lol
but if one is not vibe concerned then the 500 does the job well
looking back at my 500 runs i liked the 2 black chromes i had and i must agree the chrome in the 350 doesn't equal the black chrome in the 500's
i'd like to see them come out with a black chrome 500 J motor and i will do a pre-order...lol
enfield will have the buyers on a 500 J platform ...but the question is -are they listening!
However, a good marketing team could hype up a Bullet Revival with an engine producing roughly 30-60hp as a premium motorcycle, a tribute model of sorts, and yes, i would be there with you pre ordering^^
If someone wants a classic looking new enfield today, the INT 650, continental, and classic reborn, cover most customers.
RE does not produce half-assed engines, EURO5 is tough, so making a great E5 engine just for a 500 would be quite the effort. Hard to tell
Merry Christmas Brother!
Same to you! all the best for 2023!
i wont wait for that restoration
yeah ...so right. imagine how much filler it would use...lol
Merry Christmas mate, stay safe and enjoy:
Same to you. i sometimes wonder how safe it really is riding about in those places...it would be so easy to be done in!
all the best for Xmas!
Merry Christmas ⛄🌲 Warro.
Same to you!
Hiya Warro! Really enjoy your videos! May I know what’s the update on the FuelX Pro autotune that you fitted a while back. How’s the overall fuelling/throttle response been. I’m planning to fit a red rooster exhaust + dna filter/stage 2 cover and a fuel x pro autotune. Would love your take on this.
i fitted it again yesterday and took it for a run. so far i cant pick much difference than the stock unit. i bought one for the classic 500 and again no difference there. bike came back a bit hot too.
even tried different programs from 4 to 7 and again zero. plus that flasking light can be a pain. one minute you set 3 and go up one and on 5
but you can always try one out as your looking at a stage one compared to a stock bike.
i think they give a 30 day money back guarantee,
mine is a stock bike and i pulled it back off. mine runs better without it...lol
@@karthiksridhar4618 did all that when i had the 500's where i ran a power commander 5 and the ejk. found over time once i modded those they were unreliable.
so seeing the 350 goes well stock i just kept it stock asd i have several other new rides anyway
so going for the peace and quiet side. that may change but may not
Very nice video...also please make a video if it makes sense to buy a Classic 350 reborn as an additional bike if you already own an Interceptor 650.Kindly give your opinion also in the reply.Merry Christmas and a Happy New year ahead
i have actually owned 2 interceptors -a chrome and a ravishing red. a great bike for long distant effortless runs...you could say a real mile eater.
should you buy a 350 reborn...a big yes! it's a totally different bike.
more a relaxed ride running back roads up to 100 kph. they will go faster but why flogg the crap out of them.
if faster is preferred just buy a yamaha mt-03 same price and 41 hp
buy the classic 350 reborn.
1. it will put a big smile on your dial whenever you walk past it.
2. its a true time machine to put you back in time when bikes were bikes and much simpler
3. if they were no good-i'd sold my 2 about 8 months ago...lol
@@ridewithwarro Thankyou so much for taking time out to reply back in such a beautiful and elaborate manner really appreciate it🙏only a true biker can do so.Coming to the classic 350, I rode to the RE dealer in an Interceptor and test rode a Meteor, Hunter and Classic 350 back to back. What really hit the spot was the classic 350.It has a totally different character although it's the same platform. Finally thanks again for being so convincing and patient. Merry Christmas 🎊🎄🎄🎊🎉🎉
@@blrmotorcyclesinc. all good there. have not seen the hunter 350 but i just like the old school look of the 350 reborn and its pretty close to a 500 in looks -well compared to the others....lol
@@ridewithwarroTotally agree beyond doubt classic 350 is the only motorcycles which has stayed true to it's original design and DNA never stopped production and still maintains beautiful design lines.Hunter looks lot modern and rides also sporty.
Beautiful country side
i dont make it a habit of riding in there..its a bit spooky by yourself...lol never know if it could be your last ride as one never knows whats around the corner...lol
got other nice places to ride. this one is only 10 minutes out.
had the same roughly 5 minutes from home but they cut down the pines and it looks more lunar now.
i might put up a clip later before and after on that and just a nice place totally wrecked now
all the best.
I like that colour
its called halcyon grey. its really more a powder blue or i think so
The road😍
yeah its a bit on the rough side for a track
If I got rid of my 500 it would be for the 650.
yeah ive had heaps of 500's and a couple of the 650's too, i just like the new 350's for their reliability and much smoother motor.
either way they are all interesting bikes
Merry Christmas Mate!
Same to you!
