    Man i have climbed on top of a 3000+ meters mountain with this bike, indians know what they are doing trust me people. I have seen couple of motorcycles down , a triumph scrambler 1200 and an Africa twin, my little classic made the job sooo easy, amd honestly, with so much style 😎🤠

    Definitely the type of tyres that should have been fitted as stock to this bike. I much preferred the standard road tyres of the early '80s to the soft, semicircular profiled tyres of today.

    Tempted by the Heidenau, as I found the stock Ceat tyres wanted to track from new. I've tried them at various pressures and rear suspension loadings, but never had complete confidence in them. Haven't had a similar issue with tyres before, and that includes some dodgy old east-European rubber. I'll give them a few hundred miles to see if it's just me.

    How do you rate wet grip on the road Vs the stock CEAT tyres? People worry about how the K60s will perform on wet roads but surely it can't be any worse than the Indian-made nylon tyres these bikes come with...

    • @Coastriderscotland
      @Coastriderscotland  Год назад +4

      Hi, I rate them as good if not better,
      My stock Ceat tyres had a planted feel until about 2000 miles then the front would track crossing lines in the road left from snowploughs, these tyres cut through the same lines with no problems and cornering on cold wet roads is fine giving confidence 😁👍 cheers Bruce

      @buzzlightyear1484 Год назад

      Why do you feel like indian made tyres would be inferior without trying it. Something made by indians doesnt mean it would be inferior to western one's. We just provide stuff with more affordable prices

    • @Geshmaal
      @Geshmaal Год назад

      @@buzzlightyear1484 I have ridden on Enfields with the stock CEAT tyres and they are more slippery in the wet than I'm used to, having mostly ridden on Bridgestone, Avon and Dunop tyres. In my experience they also wear down very quickly and start to suffer with dry rot which produces cracks in the sidewall of the tyre prematurely - I'm talking within a year of fitting to the bike. It feels like the tyres they fit are made as cheaply as possible just to get the bike out of the showroom but the expectation is that they will be replaced quickly. It is also nearly impossible to buy CEAT tyres outside of India so they are a relatively unknown quantity. If you are aware of any better Indian-made tyres feel free to suggest some, I bought an Indian-made bike after all - I'm not inherently averse to things made in India.
