I think you found something that Royal Enfield owners have been doing for more than 60 years. Ride a Royal Enfield Bullet or Classic anywhere there is a road, or not. Johnny Brittain did it in the 1950s on his Enfield 350, winning 13 ISDT gold medals.
Also watch BikeWorld where Chris does a number on a 350RE to make it into a LDT special for MCC trials work. Or Paul Henshaw with his work on 350 and 500 REs both Redditch and Indian.
The sight of a Classic 350 scampering through those trails is nothing short of delightful! Looks like a lot of fun! And well said, all of it! I think I need to just get out and ride. This video just popped up on my feed and it's so well made! You earned a new subscriber, sir!
Thoughtful and challenging. Great cinematography! This is well done! I’d be interested in seeing how you modified the Royal Enfield 350 from street to scrambler worthy.
Seeing limits or seeing possibilities? Being reflective on that question in my own life I’ve seen limits not possibilities. Subsequently missed out on a lot! I see a tension or balance in this because there is wisdom in being humble enough to acknowledge limits; however we live in a world that imposes ridiculous amounts of red tape (another term for limits) for the sake of safety and life longevity. This breeds fear not wisdom, and limits established by fear are always beautiful when broken! Hindsight’s always 20/20, but I appreciate content like this that issues a challenge, requires thought, and encourages introspection. Thanks for the video!
Excellent footage and editing. Pursuit of possibility. Love the philosophy aspect of your videos. Our western culture badly needs an examination of what we consider 'common sense'.
I purchased a 350 Classic with just that idea in mind! I love the flat footed go anywhere nature of my Honda CT125 Trail but not the sub highway speeds. The 350 Classic was a way to keep the flat footed to the pavement riding position with the ability to cruise at 60 mph on the back roads. One of the first things I did was ride the 350 on gravel roads and was surprised at just how well it did. Although not a power house most people jut do not realize how great the 350 motor is. Next I purchased Hagon plus 20mm shocks and a set of Shinko 804/805 Adventure tires. Now I have a RE 350 Classic Scrambler!
Dude! Love this!!! I did very similar. Last night (12/24), I put in a performance cam and awoke a sleeping monster. People say it is transformational, I was skeptical. I am not now!
Well said, and well made video!
Thanks, truly!

Love it. I'm a slow learner. I think that's the theme.

Making what we have into what we need it to be! Exactly!
