Hands on training, will always be the best way to learn. Books don't teach you how to recover equipment in a situation like this. Thank God for wreckers. Great job fellas!
If that were a hydraulic RGN he could have just raised the deck and drove away but since it is a mechanical that whole trailer is resting upon the roadway... there is no driving out of that
Okay secure the trailer and then disconnect the drop deck from the truck. Next drive equipment off trailer and use it to lift trailer deck onto roadway!
I can't believe he put that thing down there while going in a forward motion. It looks like he was backing up without regard for where his wagon was going. Unless it got in far enough and then slid sideways with the deck bottom flat on the road surface....
Gareth Ifan I did not realize trucks ( lorries ) did not go off the road in the UK or Europe that's amazing . I presume you don't need wreckers at all !
The road is fine/wide enough, for that load ,driver error ,thats all ,been down many roads as such at 100+ foot long ,jeep-lowboy 10-11 axle set up with no problem.
This is good example, why I do not like american trucks. They are unreasonably big and long. At this video, truck is almost as long as trailer!? Also, this truck have tremendous & unreasonable size exhaust pipes. I do not get, why as they add just additional weight and drag, so pointless. Also, this long nose was reason, why he did not drive at outer edge of road and trailer fell off road from other side.
These heavy haulers need a fullsize radiator to keep that monster loads engine cool so a long nose is important and need the axles spread out so a long tractor is important so such truck is called for in the USA and bigger exhaust helps keep exhaust temps down when pulling hard
@SiiliViin... Your European-designed trucks are built to accommodate your European roads. Our trucks are designed to accommodate the loads we want to carry on our roads. Obviously, in both cases, there are exceptions sometimes, but here in North America, many people enjoy the freedom of buying something that they want, rather than something that merely conforms to the requirements. I've seen "custom" trucks in the UK and in some European countries too, though they are quite rare. Think about the size differences between some of your countries and some of ours. Would you like to spend a few weeks cramped inside some little pigeon hole while you're criss-crossing the North American Continent? Some drivers spend weeks on the road, some actually LIVE in their truck full-time. Anyways, besides creature comforts, we have laws to abide by in spreading our weight out over certain lengths. The configurations you use wouldn't work over here. Sometimes, a single-axle tractor is handy, but not for carrying large loads. Since the late 1980's, our steer axle is utilized more than the old days, in helping to distribute the weight, so that the entire vehicle combination can withstand a higher gross. Some guys will sacrifice load-carrying capability to have a truck that they feel is more visually appealing. There are some who do not. Personally, I don`t care for a bunch of chrome and stainless steel that wants to be cleaned and polished, and I also don`t want big air filter cannisters and pipes sticking out, creating drag, but I want a reasonable layout where I can get up from my chair, and walk a step or two to the bed. Cab-over designs have a place and a function, but it`s not for everyone. As to how the truck in the video got to where it was, I don`t know what happened either.
Setting up a block , and anchoring off a big hardwood tree. Smart. Its a force multiplier.
One person got lucky that day
And that were you, being there and filming it
I'm glad you did
This was a mighty awesome *heavy rescue* indeed

ME GUSTO MUCHO EL VIDEO DE HEAVY EQUIPMENT RESCUE
Weleh2... Alat canggih yo. Sesok tak tuku lah.
Woow optimus prime....
O.K. as long as the tree holds. Imagine the mess if the tree toppled on top of all that expensive plant.🇬🇧
Расцепился, съехал с трала, зацепился, выехал, встал на ровное.
Не благодари.

Тут надо было поддерживать краном трал и к тягачу буксир. И вытянуть двойной тягой поддерживая краном

Neat idea to do a 2 to 1 using the tree .
Close to his right
Spent 2 hours at a standstill waiting for this... at least I had a front row seat! 😝

looks like the booster helped steer the trailer off the inside of the corner when went through the little dip.
How dafuq did he get into that "angle" in the first place?
He did not take wide enough most likely, or not paying enough attention.

What the..????? Fallen asleep?
Gareth Ifan no, the road was too small for his oversized load
If that's a small road for that truck..don't ever send him to the UK or Europe..he'll be permanently on his side

وتحسب هذي نزله او تغريزه .. هههههههههه هههههههههه .. نحن في قريب ان تنقلب ونطلعها
Ron Pratt would have picked up the ass end of the trailer and put it back on the road.
I dont think so hes not superman
Why didn't they just lift it in the rear and swing it in instead of dragging it. Must need a bigger tow truck. Probably only a 60 k pick
thomas bringola
Do you get a special feeling of superiority by answering your own questions on RUclips ?
60 k pick my ass, that rt crane alone is at 90 plusK,then u have the 30 K trailer weight ...yeah that why
Chris Marc so your 90k plus 30k is 120k. Half the weight is on the fifth wheel so the pick is 60k according to your math
Nice job 👍
😮😮😮

Why? I didn't see any damage done to it, and I don't think the current landowner planted it himself.

SiiliViin you live in the tuck and road perfect Europe so you don't need to get it
