Phew!! Now where's the nearest trucker cafe.....!! Excellent video of a skilled team working as if it was a Sunday morning out!!
I was held up by a rig like this on the North Circular just down from Finchley high street in London,a few years back, best traffic jam i was ever in..right behind it as was SLOWLY [!] negotiating a tight bend in rush hour traffic!
It was amazing to watch the teamwork...and they never took a bollard or tree out!
I loved this one taking the moss off the low wall....polished the coping stone nicely!!
Thanks for posting a great vid.!

Hi great video I passed my HGV class 1 in stone west midlands with an instructor from Pwllheli. Alex Higgins.
He could not understand why I want to do this in 1986. I work for the ambulance service in various duties from driver training to a paramedic on the police helicopter and to management for forty two years. But I loved driving big lorry’s with others and the freedom we had. I liked the team work and eating in different places. But I never made it my career. Only did a few trips as a second driver but really enjoyed it. Good video with good use of vehicle control by the police.

I will say that the transport of this giant looks impressive.

Love it, they make these things near me here in Pennsylvania. The side-street route to my US highway's 1/4 away and I usually get to see a couple a year come out :)

I know ALE is an acronym for Abnormal load engineering but perhaps with it written in big letters on all the trucks it is a motivation for the crew to get through the day "Ale" awaits ?

If I could do that I would certainly award myself a drink at the end of the job

If you didn’t have epilepsy before being stuck behind all these flashing lights, you would have by the end of it. I think even the blind could feel, if not see, a thousand tons of machinery coming their way. Health and safety, the bane of modern life.

These look pretty fresh with DAF cab on it. I thought FAUN went out of business in mid 90's with long bonnet truck shown here.

Excellent video, I love it! Just have seen it for the second time. I don't understand why you have got also 47 thumbs down.

They're either the people wanting the fast-forward version, or they're lonely, bitter people who give a thumbs-down to every video. This crew definitely deserve a thumbs up for their skills.

What about a video showing the amount of planning and human intelligence which was involved in this. How many PowerPoint slides did those drivers have to watch?

That was awesome great video communication is the key there I couldn’t count the set of tires though soò many

    • @ladonna1902
      @ladonna1902 5 лет назад

I was trying to count them, too. It look like it was 20 tires the long way and about 5 or 6 tires across.

14 axles, each with 4x2 wheels =96 per trailer. Whole lotta tyres to spread the weight!
