    The only reason Hemric is averaging 23.4 is because he has benefited from some strategy calls like running long and catching the caution, or taking the wave around then catching the caution. He also has gained some attrition spots with competitive guys dropping out racing for the lead etc.
    I guarantee his average running position is a lot lower than his average finish. Whenever I’ve tuned in he’s dropped to 32nd to 35th half way through the first run at the start of races when everyone is on the same strategy and hasn’t crashed out yet. From a speed stand point, he’s gotta be amongst the slowest 3-5 drivers.
    Last year Kaulig was building something good. AJ and Swiderski made a good team. Kaulig let him go and Trackhouse jumped. Apparently the guy is a genius. They also let Haley go and look what he’s doing at RWR. He’s tried Hemric in the standings even with a DQ.
    Hemric seems like a great guy, but he’s an Xfinity driver at best. He is not a top 36 driver in NASCAR.
    Kaulig has regressed, I would love to see what AJ could do with another team. He’s probably got about two to three years left of being elite/in his prime until statistically he falls off with age.

      I literally agree with every point you made here. Not trying to sound like a yes man or a brown noser. You might have noticed Cirkul is starting to sponsor AJ more which could be a sign of things to come. Kaulig made some very bad decisions and it set them back for sure. AJ is a far better driver than Hemric and it shows. That being said AJ is going no where he signed a long term deal with Kaulig.
      We really appreciate you tuning in and hope you continue you to do so. Thank you for the detailed thoughts. They are always welcomed

    I believe the 2 Kaulig charters will race out of the Trackhouse Garage and under the TH banner next season and SVG will be in one of those 2 seats. I had believed Zane was going to get the 4th seat but his 24 season has been….. unimpressive. Maybe AJ follows the seat and Zane goes to Xfinity. This would have Kaulig driver AJ, diving cup out of the Trackhouse garage while Trackhouse driver Zane driving for Kaulig in Xfinity (or whatever the “B” series is called next year)

      I fully believed this to not just be a possibility but a likelihood at the start of this year. Listening to Chris Rice over the past 12 months it is hard to take what he says to seriously anymore. But he did make an emphatic statement that Kaulig isn't selling and will be around in 2025. With that, and the all but guaranteed 3rd charter Trackhouse is buying from SHR. I now think the relationship between Kaulig and Trackhouse will be more alliance based. I see the 4th Trackhouse driver at Kaulig in 2025 though!

      @@ryanyount3250 I'm hanging on to it, I'm going to die on this hill lol. Yeah, being held to only 3 charters (which is BS, but that is a different vid) does complicate it. Maybe TH buys one Ka charter and Matt gives Chris that "$20M" to beef up the Xfinity team. If Zane takes one Xfinity seat TH finds the money for that. AJ races for Kaulig, on Matt's money but with Trackhouse resources. It’s a win all around

      Chris Rice and AJ both denied any possibility of this but we shall see.

    A cup care is similar to a v8 supercar ; SVG will suit a cup car more than a xfinity car

    If there's one person you guys missed out talking about that's a young guy in Kaulig team, Daniel Dye. He's been in the number 10 car this year for a few races too and finished 10th in Iowa too.

      First off thank you for watching! We certainly appreciate the feedback and we will definitely talk about him on our next show. He certainly drove a good race and I am excited to see if he can continue to build on his Iowa run.

      He’s on the agenda next week. We recorded this one prior to Iowa. Really appreciate your support.

    This team needs to merge with TH (obvious) or go the different route and swith to Ford completely. Ford is losong teams and this can slot them higher in the manufacturer tier by sheer numbers.

    I hope GM will decide to help Kaulig more . I don't want to see Kaulig leave team chevy but Hemric needs to either go back to xfinity or loose his seat, kaulig needs drivers capable of winning AJ back to cup is where they should start

      @@LegacyOfWesteros Kaulig does need to do what's best for them even if it's switch to Ford. It's sad that teams will have to choose paid drivers who either bring sponsorship or actually have the money or their daddy's money over talent. I know I'm not a nascar driver but teams like Rackley War can't expect to win hiring a Ty Dillon ,same with Hemric but when I see comments like to team stays manufacturer loyal as some teams like Penske will race anything they get offered Manu support it seems, (Porsche,Acura,Ford ,Chevy etc) as we've seen in their nascar imsa and indy car teams but Hendricks it seems has always been Chevy and possibly RCR as well and Roush and wood brothers Ford. I'm a Chevy man who has watched racing singe I was a kid with my dad and mom in person and I've always rooted for Dale Sr then Jr now Chase but also like Larson I watch all forms of racing and get saddened to see good teams let good drivers go for people like Ty D and Hmeric or demote them. Not a problem ,thank you for the reply. Pretty much any site I'm on my name is usually Camaro something if not my real name

    I think it's time for a new alliance. There is some good talent here and I hate to see them working so hard using RCR junk.

      Agreed! They either need to fully steer into a technical alliance with Trackhouse or maybe even switch Manufacture's?

    Curious why you guys think AJ has the B car? Does one crew chief member equal the top car. In any event given Kaulig hasn’t been great isn’t SVG doing a good job? He’s certainly dominated AJ on all three road courses. AJ is the best shot at a championship for Kaulig.

    • @KauligNation
      @KauligNation  9 дней назад +1

      Hey there. Thank you for checking out the content. That’s the wonderful thing about the show is Ryan and I don’t agree on everything and it leads to good (healthy debates). Ryan doesn’t believe AJ has the B car while I do. I do not think all the cars are equal and ultimately SVG has AJ’s team and crew from two years ago. AJ is 100% the best chance at a championship but the team just isn’t generating enough speed or consistency to even think about a championship right now. Kaulig is getting paid some good money to have SVG in that car. I’m with you on the AJ front though. He’s their key to success. Once again we appreciate the support.

    • @ryanyount3250
      @ryanyount3250 9 дней назад +1

      So Shawn basically covered this. But I do not think AJ is in the "B" car. To me There really is no such thing as a B car. As a Tier 1 Xfinity Program they are getting funding from Chevy. This tells me all of the equipment will be new out of the box. Now maybe the third or even part time fourth car will get some repurposed stuff. But AJ as the leader of the team will always get new parts. The difference to me is the leadership on the pit box. You need the Crew chief / Car chief / Engineer to be on the same page and putting in the best setups and configurations possible for the cars. I believe SVG's team has the best leadership group that Kaulig has at the moment.

    • @Gravy123-kp5ou
      @Gravy123-kp5ou 9 дней назад +1

      Thanks for clearing that up. Kaulig are clearly not where they should be. It’s so obvious JR. JGR and to a lesser extent RCR are the dominant teams. Watching Josh B sky rocket up his normal running position at Portland when put in a JGR car. That’s why I think the job SVG has done on ovals is far better than most will concede.
