We Taught Our Kids to Snowboard in Big Bear, California!

In January 2022, we took our kids snowboarding in Big Bear, CA, for our son's 8th birthday. We rented a cabin a few minutes away from Snow Summit, and had the time of our lives! Our boys picked it up really quickly, and went from newbies to getting air over jumps within 2 days!

I tried snowboarding once. I took a lesson. I fell on an easy run, while going pretty slow, landed on my back and it knocked wind out of me. I gave up, quite the lesson, turned in the rental equipment, went to my truck can put on my skis and enjoyed skiing the rest of the day.
