Jeep community: they should put a 4BT Cummins!
Jeep:Nah
Chevy community: *says nothing*
Chevy: let’s put the duramax.
Chevy community: we kindly take it
which is based on the 2.8L CRD used in the jeep liberty and made by fiat
jeep used the 2.8l crd in australian (and european) jk wranglers and holden used them in the holden colorado (yes your chevy is based on a holden colorado) the 2.8lcrd are unreliable heaps of shit and will blow up at any time after 100,000km (60k miles)

That camera washing mechanism needs to go on every vehicle with a backup camera. lol
Except that the squirter mechanism only is only on the front trail camera. Wierd
@@simonnystrom8137 you said squirter 😂😆😄. Sorry I'm a big kid.
Prices are absolutely insane on most new vehicles. You guys didn't give any opinions or winner?
I think it’s hard for them to say at a $10,000 dollar difference and both working for Jeep. That the Chevrolet diesel wins hands down!
Add 2k for a 4” lift on the Chevy and you’re still under priced. 65k for a Jeep 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@epeterson2448
If you actually equip the Chevy like a decently equipped Rubi, the price difference is less than that.
Around where I live they state 10k markup on all Jeep pickups right up front. I wouldn’t buy one. As a matter of fact I’ll never buy another Chrysler product due to their high markup. At least not new anyways.
E Peterson Rubicon gladiators are all over the place for $50k now. I wouldn’t buy a Rubi anyways but still.
billy ???? Popped into a dealer just to look at one up close. They were wanting to discount them already. I’m not a Jeep guy though lol. Did get a cool little catalog with a Gladiator shaped multi tool just for looking 👍🏻
I love jeeps but the Gladiator that I saw at the dealership last week had a sticker of 81k and change. Thats nuts. For the difference in price I would get the Bison, add a 5 inch lift and 37 inch tires and probably still be less than the jeep. I still wish jeep would bring back the scrambler.
For once I'd like to see a test on these types of trucks in the east in the forests and the mud instead of sand and rock.
That has more to do with tires than the truck’s capability. Doing off roading obstacles is a better indicator of off road capability

One Bison, to go please.
The fact that the small truck segment price range is between $50k to $60k+ ,Utterly insane!
Not if you get a fully loaded Nissan Frontier Pro 4-X! They’re only $32k. I drive one and I love it. And does my wallet.
It isn't. Bought my Zr2 new for just under $40k
Chuck Cribbs exactly! I have a 2017 Frontier Pro-4x I love it, it has all the nice on a truck. Leather seats, heated seats, heated mirrors sun roof everything but has all the good stuff for off road. Engine is solid and it’s all around amazing truck.
Welcome to 2020. What isn't expensive these days?
@@MrMcGiblets1 Is yours a Bison?
If you guys didn't get the hint at the end, They chose Chevy but did not directly say it. They are filming in MOAB and participating in the Easter Jeep Safari in MOAB so... TFL cannot simply and directly say that the Chevy Bison is the better buy here. (Hint = Roman changing his Jeep shirt to a Chevy shirt at the end)
Yep, they both tapped the Bison.
At $63,000 for the Launch edition, I would rather get a Power Wagon. ‘Cause Power Wagon doesn’t care!
It don't make it up Cliff hanger either (watch the review) ZR2 does lol. My money is on the Chevy.
@@allenheaps2084 I saw that video. Like Nathan I was sad that day. The ZR2 is a pretty awesome truck.
I got a ram 3500 with a cummins 55k reg cab 8 ft box 1000 lb ft....after seeing jeep glad was 57k after all discounts
Agreed. Then put 35-37" tires on it. Unstoppable...
It’s been a while eversince I saw Nathan and Roman doing a review together. It’s always entertaining and informative watching these two reviewing a car. Keep up the good work guys 👍👍👍👍
You never gave us a verdict as to which one you would "spend your own money" on...!
The Jeep you can take the doors and roof off
But it's a Chrysler product
The Chevy has a diesel
And is not a Chrysler product
The Jeep I know for it's off roading capabilities but is still a Chrysler product
The Chevy might be a little bit more reliable but can't take the doors and roof off
Me personally I'd lease the Jeep get it out of my system and call it a day knowing I have a fun weekend toy.
I've owned jeeps forever, but I've got to tell you my ZR2 is FANFUCKINGTASTIC! It keeps up with Rubicons on the trails PLUS
It hauls all my camping gear and fishing gear plus plenty of firewood. However the ZR2 really out shines the Jeep ON road. If you have to use your rig as a daily driver too the ZR2 is lightyears ahead.
Not mention a 4” lift is only 2k and you’re destroying that over priced pos off road to
Payload alone makes the canyonrado the king. Those are beastly little vehicles @ 30mpg!
Scott L Huh? Max payload on a Canyon is 1592. It’s 1600 on a gladiator. Max towing on this ZR2 is 5000. My Gladiator is nearly 7,700.
MK4vDubbin actually, for 2020, the Dmax, NON ZR2, Raydo is rated at 7700# towing.
@@MK4vDubbin sport is 7650 rubi drops
When speaking off road, you can’t just focus on engine output with regards to torque. Transmission gear ratios, transfer case reduction and axle ratio all play a part in determining torque at wheel. The Jeep has a 4:1 t-case vs. 2.72 for the Chevy.
And the Pentastar has an unbelievably flat torque curve (one of the flattest in the industry). As such, torque at the wheels and controllability should be perfect.
@@corystansbury More horsepower than torque? That is as wrong as you get for a Jeep!
@@scarhart53 my diesel ZR@ (after tune) dynos at 240 hp and 450 lb/ft.
You didn't show the Off-road display or even that it is activated on the 2, 4H, 4L selector. That display also shows pitch and roll angles like the Jeep.
I love both these trucks... I do own a ZR2. I don’t think you can go wrong with either..
You guys always forget about the Rubicon having a 4:1 low range, that makes a big difference when crawling. Great episode though!
Sure, it has a good low range. But at what point do the front CV joints give out from being locked, turned, flexed, and in low range.
Low range is only really important when you need more torque.
Both of these in low range have enough to climb a wall.
@@johnarcher9480 Solid axle.. no CVs on the Gladiator.
@@johnarcher9480 Jeep has been using 4:1 low ranges since 2002, no real issues. The 4:1 really comes in handy when you go to larger tires, and to give better control when crawling at low speeds.
Yuppies don't know nuttin about gear reduction
Yes you have to consider all factors not just one.
I love my Chevy but, that exhaust is just BEGGING for a hacksaw! WHY!?
That's hilarious same happens to me to when I get a newer truck 😂😂😂
If the price would be similar one would have to think before choosing. Much better value in the ZR2.
Maybe at launch, but the jeep would have a better resale value.
@@triangleofdeath6246 doubt it.
Every truck will have advantages/disadvantages. We all knew what was going to happen with the lines taken when testing the departure etc. Both are nice rigs, just drive em’ knowing their limitations and that’s when they will both truly shine in different scenarios. It’s like comparing a short wheel base jeep to a long wheel base - we all know the deal. Great to see the protection doing its job. Nice video - cheers 🍻👍
I wouldn’t tow anywhere near 7500 lbs with either of these trucks.
I agree....like towing 10,000 + in a half ton truck. Sure it can be done, but it will be a white-knuckle, nervous drive for sure.
Move that exhaust out I'd the way and put the spare in the bed then change the front bumper to the standard zr2 bumper and it'll clear tons more.
Wouldn't you just buy a zr2 at that point? The bison was made for overlanding and not hardcore rock crawling. The armor is just so you make it home at the end of the day.
@@aaron5222 exactly. I'd rather get a normal zr2 and buy the plates to add on rather than the bison and take off the bumper. But they had a bison in the video and getting rid of that bumper would be best thing for them with what they had
So the regular ZR2 with the off-road bars and spare in the bed? That's a factory package, cheaper than the Bison actually
In the U.K. you can buy the JL with a 2.2 Diesel with 197bhp and 332lb/ft of torque.
So? How's she doing on the Ike gauntlet fully loaded?
That's because in Murcia diesels do not compute. Especially after Volkswagon.
What is JL?
$63,000 for a Jeep Wrangler with a bed? I think for that price range I’d rather have a Ford Raptor with 450 horsepower, but that’s just me !
justinloughrie15 They’re not even in the same segment. Plus you can’t take the doors and roof off the raptor
Agreed
WGAS whether you can take the doors and roof off!! For that money a Raptor is the only choice. Now for 35-40, the ZR2 is a solid option.
$63k is only the launch edition. the Gladiator starts at $34k and the Rubicon is like $45k I think.
David Kutschke Yeah but that 45k is no options. You will get to 60 real quick. The ZR2 only comes loaded. You can get a base Colorado for 28k
Henderson NV To Santa Clarita CA 500 Mile round trip at the speed limit 26.0 MPG 2018 ZR2 2.8 Diesel.
Bison, all the way
That exhaust tip ain't BORON @ 12:22
OUCH.
Also, the Winner is . . . . . ??????
We need the J6; standard cab, 6’ bed, solid axles, manual trans, crank windows, soft top, 37”s!!!!
Marshall Williams The big problem would be the price. If I couldn't justify the price for the Bison ( which I can't) then that goes double for what Jeep would demand for a J6 spec'd out to match. The way FCA's finance's look like lately, you know darn well they wouldn't discount anything in the Wrangler line, especially if it's got a Rubicon badge slapped on its ass. Jeep and Ram are the only things FCA'S got that's making them money.
Make it happen Jeep and it better not cost 50k in Canada
THats why Id get the sport with no options. No power locks windows backup camera or anything. That right there would be on par with a jlu or a gladiator of the same specs. $35k
I am with you on all this except the manual, would love a manual but paired with the 3,6 it is no good .Jeep has ruined the manual experience .
Leaf springs in the back instead off coils and you have me sold
I have already read the complaints for the 2020 gladiator and why people are staying away from it. Price, No Hemi option, Price, no manual, and Price...did I mention Price?
I love my ZR2. I'm glad I didn't wait for the Gladiator. I think it looks cool, but a little funny. Also, 63,000 is way too much. I got a midnight edition with the sports bar and lights for 42K. No way I'm spending that much on a truck that can't compare to a Raptor.
Can the Raptor rock climb? You're debating apples and oranges Jeeves.
I mean in terms of rock climbing and off roading it’s honestly better. Raptor looks nicer but for a raptor with the same features you’re talking 72k almost 80 with tax. I got my zr2 for 41k brand new.
How’s that zr2 holding up?
@@JG-mg3if I still love it. Dealership tries to buy it back every time I'm there.

For 40-60k, how about a better hood lift system. Use the money from the camera spritzer 🤣
hood folds all the way back to the windscreen and has a prop rod if you wish to use it. how do you improve on that? and if you say gas struts then lol you can't open the hood all the way and after 5yrs the hood will randomly close on you.
@@6226superhurricane for 40-60 surprise me. Possibilities: scissor system with a locking component, telescoping system, latch system to the windshield with rubberized guards. A gas strut could be used if the strut was designed and mounted properly. It just seems cheap for such an expensive vehicle.
2 door j6 and I'm sold. Not digging a 20 foot long jeep. Of course that's just an exaggeration
Price on both these are ridiculous especially the jeep when you can get a Power Wagon or Raptor for less or a Rebel for way less that's crazy.
In what world can you get a decent Raptor for cheaper than this? You can get a base model Raptor for less if you're lucky, but put anything on a Raptor and it jumps to $70K+...
If your going to leave it stock, ZR2 (non bison) is the best choice. If you want big lifts you know Jeep will be the path.
daren s Jeep doesn’t even need a lift. Clears 37’s bone stock easily,
I don't feel the launch edition really reflects how much the average model would cost.
Joshua Jeremy you can easily spec a wrangler to be over $60k. I work at a jeep dealership, and they are very common.
@@theonlybucko They said the launch edition is a fully loaded Rubicon with a few thousand added due to being the first ones
Joshua Jeremy No it’s a fully loaded Rubicon with a badge paying homage to the original, black leather with red stitching on the instrument panel and dash, and special gloss black aluminum wheels.
It was little over 62,00 which about same as a regular Rubicon with most of the options.

The website configurator has more reasonable prices.
57k for a loaded Overland model.
is this video to encourage ford to make the Ranger Raptor in the US? 🤔
🤣🤣🤣
Ford can suck a dick until they start bringing us what we want. Theres no reason why Europe should get all the cool Fords like the Focus RS and the Ranger Raptor and we cant. No reason at all.
The Ranger is an old platform they've had in Europe for a few years now. Maybe in a (very) vew years, in the new generation.
@@willdog3 No 2.0 Turbodiesel Ranger Raptor for USA, only the regular "Ecobust Twin Turdo".
Idk what fords doing. They’re taking forever to release the bronco lineup. It’s ridiculous at this point. I got tired of waiting and just got a wrangler sport s last weekend. Anyways, they are supposedly making a bronco truck and ranger so I’d imagine one is strictly off road and one will be a towing beast. Then there’s the off reading small truck which I would be more interested in seeing since it should have better dimensions for off roaring.
Well if you can afford 70,000$ Just import it from Australia
Great video. Both amazing trucks that performed equally well.
This is why i watch this channel. Love the off-road reviews!
The ZR2 is the lesser known BETTER truck for overall duties. I've towed cars, trailers, gone WAY off road and it never missed a beat. 24MPG later, it's still ticking along.
How big of a car did u tow with it?

Meh, Power Wagon don't care about these 'lil wannabes. 😎
Honestly I would buy the ZR2 Diesel and do the mods yourself. AEV was restricted in what they were allowed to do for crash testing. Save alot of money. I just wish you could put 35s on it without a lot of trimming.
Remember Roman gears multiply torque. Horsepower is the rate work is done. torque is NOT always what you need when 4x4ing. Thats why you have a two speed transfer case. Try some soft dune sand in 4 low vs 4 hi to see the major difference.
You just touched on one of my major pet peeves. Folks, in an engine that's turning, horsepower and torque are intimately related. At each and every rpm, from bogged down below idle to way off the top of redline, your engine makes torque. Take that torque (in foot-pounds), multiply by the rpm you're turning at that instant, and divide by 5252. That gives you the horsepower you're making. There are 52 cards in a deck, so it's an easy number to remember.
People that think "it has plenty of horsepower but not enough torque" are really saying "I need (or need to use!) a lower gear".
Remember, kids - a 2010-2015 Prius has 500 ft-lbs but only 150 HP. It's not doing big, smokey burnouts, is it? (The electric motors make max torque at zero rpm...)
I will admit that a "peaky" engine, one that makes max torque near redline, isn't pleasant to drive. But I'll maintain that what people casually call a "torquey" engine is really just one that won't keep making torque as it revs. A good and very readable discussion is at www.epi-eng.com/piston_engine_technology/power_and_torque.htm
Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison-Eagle Claw Demon- Slayer Shit-kicker will be the next model.
J R where do I sign up? 😂😂
The ZR2 is so much better… it gives options: if you want protection at the cost of approach
then get just the ZR2 bison. Or vice versa) (in this video they NEEDED the regular ZR2 for these conditions)!! 9:11
As a Toyota Owner... i can say.... Yota has to step up their Off road game...
For $10k you could get a pair of nice dirbikes to throw into the back of the Colorado.... or a small travel trailer to park at a nearby campground. I would take the Chevy.
I have a 18' Colorado in Z71 trim that would do that trail without a problem though. Paid $32,500 OTD for it new. Removed the airdam and added sliders and skids for about $650. I will wait until I rip off the bumpers before buying some. I would not make the wife angry that way! lol
I can get the Bison bumper directly from AEV now as well as the skids. So that is an option as well. Would be much cheaper when placed on the Z71 trim. Would just be mission a few things like a front locker... until you add your own.
We pick up our white Bison Friday. So excited

LordTechPro This is like a porn star quote
The "Bison" title doesn't add anything to the ZR2 offroad wise. It's mostly appearance mods and exterior accessories. It's not like a Ford Raptor that comes with a huge suspension and engine upgrade. A regular ZR2 would have performed just as well.
Went through all that and no winner was declared.
Another reason why I hate this channel.
Thyny San thanks I won’t watch hate this type of bullshit everyone wins a trophy
@Lloyd Bonafide even tho the zr2 routinely does? The gladiator can't even go fast offroad, the zr2 can.
I had a 2016 JKUR...compared to my Raptor, it is garbage. Only place it was slightly better was crawling, and not as much as you'd expect. Meanwhile it was very unpleasant to drive - exact opposite of my truck. And it can't go fast, which is the best kind of offroading.

@@blaises1748 Not really because 20 years ago a high tech feature was cruise control and abs. Now high tech features is cylinder deactivation and computers that run everything from the Engine to the transmission to the exhaust system. Now as a new vehicle owner I hope that all this technology is made well and will last, but if we're being honest it probably won't because they design things to have an 'expected lifespan' and that's pretty short because the longer your vehicle runs the longer it will be until the vehicle manufacturers make money again from your new purchase.

What do you mean “when properly equipped” the Colorado will tow 7500lbs when it’s rated for 5000lbs?
different package with different suspension set up = higher towing rating
ZR2 >>> Gladiator, Taco, and Ranger.
True
The Gladiator is cool. It doesn't really compare to anything. Most trucks are great on road and fair off road. Most Jeeps are fair on road and great off road. The Gladiator is too long to be a great Jeep, so 90% of them will be mall crawlers and city dwellers. It doesn't mean the Gladiator isn't cool though. It's more capable off road than most full size trucks, but not as good on the road and doesn't haul or tow as much. I guess if you're a hunter and want a bed to haul game in, and have a vehicle that's more capable off road than most full size trucks...the Gladiator might be the ticket. I think a lot of Jeep people wanted a modern Scrambler. Unfortunately Jeep didn't build a Scrambler.
Nathan, in all that discussion about torque... were you guys running in 4lo? Doesn't the Jeep have a 4:1 while the Bison is 2.72 or something?
@ihategooglespooks that's what I thought. I'd take gas and 4:1 over diesel and 2.7:1 for sure
I own a Wrangler JL along with another primary daily driver vehicle, a Ford Expedition. I would not recommenced a Jeep JL/Gladiator if its going to be your only vehicle or daily driver. The upright windshield and solid front axle make for a harsh ride on roads above 55mph. The Jeep is a specific purpose vehicle. The Chevy is a more versatile vehicle and a better bang for the buck.
Everyone will complain that this is a diesel vs. gas. But what about the fact that the Bison is sold out. Meaning if you didn’t already buy one, you won’t be.
Can still buy them on dealer lots
Ivan Rodriguez and probably with a stupid added dealer mark up since dealers know the build out is done.
63k for a mid size "truck" nope nope nope.
These mid-sizers are testing the market. Soon, you'll see 1/2-ton basic bare bones, single cab, no 4x4 full size start at that price.
If you want a 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 extended cab, you'll be paying the equivalent of a Ferrari 488 GTB price by then, and that's just the starting.

TFL >>> you have no idea how invaluable your vehicle reviews are to me and the rest of the public; we are very grateful for all of the time and effort that you all at TFL do to bring this footage to us, thank you, thank you, thank you! Obviously, the ideal situation for when one is considering the purchase of a new vehicle is to be able to view and test drive the vehicle in person. However, even with a test drive there are a lot of things that one will be unable to learn; here's where you guys come in ... thanks to your testing of vehicles in their respective elements we get to learn a great deal more than we ever could with any ordinary test drive. By viewing a certain vehicle in different videos that you have prepared one is able to get a very good idea about the pluses and minuses of a vehicle. Allow me to elaborate ... me myself upon viewing the Jeep Gladiator at a car show I was quite impressed. But I am obviously at a disadvantage with the manufacturer who makes sure that their vehicle is positioned "just so" and the lighting is perfect and the stance, etc. an attendee at such an event has no chance ;-) Then the more I got to see this vehicle reviewed, the more I could see unappealing aspects of it. In the case of other vehicles it was the opposite, I ended up developing an appreciation for something that I had initially thought was not so good, or that I had no particular interest in. So ... believe me, what you guys at TFL do is very, very invaluable and we are very very grateful to all of your efforts and presentations; because no matter whether we agree with your comments and reviews or not, we are learning a great deal thanks to you. So once again, I thank you TFL team for all of your time and effort that you put into bringing us this wonderful material, you guys are awesome! ;-)
These are ok trucks and ok off-roaders but they are just half sized with full size price, buy a real truck a toy hauler and a rzr or what ever utv you like instead of buying an over priced Half size truck that won’t half or tow like a full size and are not half as capable as a UTV
Resell value will always go in favor of that Jeep! The Chevy will just be another used truck in 5 years.
I wouldn’t say that. It will have a resale value cause it’s diesel
The real question here is are they known to be reliable ? Don’t think so 😂
Jeeps are only good for one thing a kidney transplant ... these jeeps ride like there on rough terrain all the time
Yes but with that being the bison version and the diesel it will hold it's value much better then a normal zr2 with the 6 cylinder plus 10,000 cheaper I personally would rather have the bison for the price but if the jeep was the same price then I would take the jeep they are both very capable off road trucks but Damn expensive
@@mrgreen8357 I like the way the zr2 looks the jeep is just a jeep with a box now ... zr2 way sexier
you know what else the Chevy doesnt have.....Death Wobble!!
No just faulty air bags that will kill u with metal shards.

Zr2 wins against trd every time. The Tacoma is ancient.

Another TFL video "comparison" without a winner being announced? I feel like Roman has brought Nathan to the dark side (not saying WTF they claim to intend with the video). Borderline pointless! Go back to the old style: driving, related commentary & tangible results... in 5-6 minutes or so!
Cant scare away sponsors with a “winner” now...🤣
Not worth the money, I work in the auto industry and Sadly we are still behind on making a truck that gets over 30 mpg. There are new engines coming out that could change that but won't be on market for the next few years or longer as they are in development. The auto industry still has this idea where if we give the truck an 8-10 speed transmission it will get better gas mileage sadly it is more about towing capacity.
The other problem is some brands still have weak transmissions and other problems within their brands. I need a truck with good gas mileage, hauling with the option of good towing, Sadly I have to wait for the Achates Engine and the Carbon Engineering C02 Fuel that can replace gasoline and diesel with no modifications.
This would also be a good comparison on the tires, Falkens Wildpeak AT3/W vs Goodyear Duratrac.
most people that go crawling usually pick a line that doesnt go straight down something that they might get caught up on.. if you use the articulation the vehicle has then you can go with minimal scrapes and dragging
As a former tactical motor vehicle operator/instructor, I agree. Articulation also isn't quite as important with traction-aided diffs at both ends, as military HMMWVs have shown with their torque-biasing diffs and full independent suspensions. Taking those approaches and departures at an angle, where possible, would minimize the scraping. One just has to be more careful to not roll.
The ZR-2 is the better truck by far. the Jeep is cool, but that front suspension is a deal breaker.
Except off road it offers way more flex and travel. But i get most people just buy offroad trucks to drive to the grocery store.
Wrangler has a superior front suspension.
The gladiator is Jeeps laziest attempt to design a truck...
AEV release the video explaining the situations and limitations that Chevy put on them that limited approach angles and departure angles because of regulations.
For the money I think I might go with a good ol dodge. I bet it would do just as good as these overpriced "trucks"
ZR2 is what I would buy, wouldn't even look at that Jeep honestly

79 series LC dual Cab Ute (v8 turbo diesel). That's THE ULTIMATE truck. Let's not even begin with anything else.
This is the truth. 79 Series LC beats them all.
That Bison is a pretty cool truck but for me the Gladiator takes the cake. I mean there is something great about popping off the top and the doors on a summer afternoon. The Jeep can do anything
Yeah like leak water into the cab in a light rainstorm

The reason you said you would take the Jeep is the same reason high school girls buy jeeps. Just sayin.

@@andyham6094 Haha. Maybe but you clearly have never owned a Jeep
I just bought a new ZR2! First brand new vehicle. Have a 96 Tacoma short box regular cab. Also have a 2010 Tundra also short box regular cab. Haven't had a GM since my 96 GMC Silverado. I do a lot of off roading (no mudding or bashing) and more often than not I pull my little offroad trailer. My wife and I camp almost every weekend in the Canadian Rockies and we get a lot of use out of our trucks and have become somewhat Toyota loyal. Needless to say I was actually a bit apprehensive looking at a Chev but I read a ton of reviews I test drove the ZR2 and was really impressed. I got a white one with the bed bar and lights and of course it had to have the same engine I test drove, the little turbo dmax. I get my truck on Tuesday. So excited! 😀😀😀
Daniel Quistberg same here I was always a Tacoma guy. I just got a new Canyon Denali and a absolutely love it. I’m 6.4 and I love all the leg room. I’ve had 5 Tacos over the years and every time they give it an update they get cheaper made. Toyota is living off the rep of the old ones like your 96. They would outlast the whole body and keep running.
I'd remove the front bumper on the Bison and put on an off road bumper.. For the Gladiator, i'd remove the entire truck lol.
The front bumper on the Bison is an offroad bumper. And it's made of Boron steel which is far more durable and lighter than any other bumpers available. Any bumper you would replace it with would be a huge step down.
Just get a 1985 k5 blazer handle all that like nothing.
*$63,000 one can buy land and build a small home or get started on one - NO way on earth is a truck worth $50,000 only fools would get in Financial DEBT like that*

ZR2 all year round!
now just to wait and see ford's response with their ranger, i'm sure they will make a decked out off-roading package for it but who knows when that will make it to market, and if i was given a jeep gladiator i would swap an inline 4 cummins into it and if it doesn't have the manual swap the manual in. but that's my option for that.
A cummins powered Jeep would be awesome for sure! However, it will most likely be their in house "eco Diesel" that is used in the Ram 1500 trucks.
