Great idea with the disconnecting sway bar! However, after 40 years of off-roading, I can hear some rattling and see quick wear of those pins. I know exactly what those pins are and they’re made of a mild steel designed for light duty stuff. It is a niche type product so don’t dump a bunch of cash into research but, I like the idea and I’m sure that other gear heads will to so, don’t stop creating and inventing!!!!
I'm about to order a ZR2 as well - my wife and I just looked at one and she is nervous about getting in and out of it without the steps, do you guys have the same issue?
I don't have an exact number as I don't have ramps tall enough to test, but they make the ride off-road so much smoother and more stable over obstacles
Hi, I was curious if you decided to make those quick discount sway bars for the 23 Colorado ZR2? If you are I’am still interested purchasing the sway bars
Painted them myself. The two hooks have 2 bolts that hold them in place to the frame and the badge with a plastic tool remover just comes off from the grill.
It would be kool to hear what modes you used for certain obstacles and if you used front or rear lockers etc... keep up the good work. Also, I haven't seen the deflat to certain tire pressure on any channels and you can be the first to narrate this option.
My ZR2 should be here in a couple weeks. Can't wait! I'd love a pair of those sway bar disconnects!
I'm here in Utah - let's go for a ride!
For sure always down to go for a ride. You can reach out to coordinate something on my Instagram or Facebook page, in the description of the video.
nice job!! Ordered the same color 3 weeks ago, can't wait to tear up the Mountain roads in Colorado!!
Solid color choice, looks better in person.
That was fun to watch! I've got the same truck but in NH there isn't that kind of terrain so it's really cool to see what it can do!
Thanks for watching, can't wait to modify the truck to see everything it can do
ZR2 best midsized truck on the market. Ordered mine in November can't wait to get it. 😁😁
Nice! I can tell you it's worth the wait. I had ordered mine in June 2023 and got my truck in January 2024.
Nice content as usual! Waiting for more 👍🏻
Thank you, more coming soon!
I love mine!! Can’t wait to take it to Moab in April!
It's a blast!
Loving the new truck!! Looks like it has much less overhang in the rear compared to the Ranger. Keep the great content coming!!
Yes big difference in rear departure clearance, will do!
Right on guys. that truck is definitely slick! Looking forward to more.
Thanks for watching!
Oh my word! 😂
Great video. Looking forward to doing the same trail soon.
Thank you! It's a fun trail, well worth it!
I'd buy the sway bar disconnect.
Was looking for something like this. Been looking at the Colorado ZR2 very seriously. Thanks!
Of course got Hells Revenge and Top of the World videos coming soon!
You should totally offer those disconnects for sale. That is the only thing I see Chevy forgot on this truck.
Thanks for showing your interest!
I can’t help hitting LIKE👍 on every video. Difficult paths. 🎉
Thank you!
Well done! Is the first 2 mile section on the south side a good intro, about the same as or easier than the rest?
Yes it is.
We saw you when we were in Moab! Really like the yellow tow hooks!
Nice! Thank you, painted them myself!

Thank you. I had a similar design on my Ranger before and 30,000+ miles and hard offroading abuse never had an issue.
Yes make the quick disconnect sway bar links
I'm about to order a ZR2 as well - my wife and I just looked at one and she is nervous about getting in and out of it without the steps, do you guys have the same issue?
No not really, but Chevy does offer steps that bolt into the factory Rock sliders 👍
Great video.. about how much does the disconnect links much more articulation give you?

As of now not yet, not enough interest to make them.
😢 I'd like a set. @@outlandishoverland
I would be interested in the sway bar disconnects. Nice video.
Thanks for showing your interest!
Just got the Glacier Blue. I would also be interested in the sway bar disconnect. Did you air down for this video?
Nice and thanks for showing your interest. I aired down to 20 PSI in this video.
Cant wait to roll Moab in May
Nice!
Think I could take a ranger with 32” tires on this trail?
Could you, yes. Just depends how much you are willing to scratch the rear of your bumper because you would be dragging it alot.
Did yours come with the yellow badges and tow hooks or did you do that? If you did I need to know because I literally thought of the same thing today
Painted them myself. The two hooks have 2 bolts that hold them in place to the frame and the badge with a plastic tool remover just comes off from the grill.
Thanks. I want to match the stitching inside. What paint did you use? Brand, color, etc?
@@dmatero1 Krylon John Deere Yellow spray paint.
I would be very interested in those quick disconnect end links!
Thanks for showing your interest!
would have liked to see some forward camera footage on the dash
I personally don't like that angle as it is a bit boring in my opinion. I also don't have a second camera for that
Nice video. The zr2 is almost like cheating. Will the disconnects work on a 2021? Btw I always turn on my lockers before I need them.
Thank you! No, the end links won't fit a 2021. I like the challenge without them
Dang it was watching the whole time to see where it hit. Hell's revenge or the top of the world next video?
Hell's Revenge is next where the damage occurred.
I liked your Ranger, but that thing is a mountain goat!
Yeah it is a big step up from the Ranger and the Ranger was lifted on 35s where the ZR2 is still in stock form!
I bought the 23 Colorado ZR2 and at this moment buying and paying for a company to install my mod, or aftermarket
Nice, so far it's blowing my expectations away
@@outlandishoverland I haven’t had the chance to take it off road yet, I had to wait to order some parts that the factory put in wrong.
@@Wagontrainrecon That is unfortunate, hopefully it gets sorted out quickly so you can enjoy your truck!
@@outlandishoverland yes I did get the issue fix and a friend and I are going to try to find time to go off roading
Thank you
I would like to purchase the disconnect sway bar, please!
Thanks for showing your interest!
@@outlandishoverland I live in Minnesota and I can leave my number, if you need it.
I’m interested in set
Thanks for showing an interest in them!
Absolutely
👍🏻
Thanks for watching
Colorado looks good, but no chance you were in 2wd in that section! RPMs were way too high.
Thank you, if you are referring to the last section it may have been 4 High, that's just how high those RPMs get versus 4L

I usually announce when I'm using a front and or rear locker on obstacles. Probably will do a future video on that feature 👍
