Looks like they should have designed the shoulder strap in the flap a little better when you got it on your shoulder it takes the corners of the flap off the bag rain or dirt whatever's going to get down in there while you're carrying it

Fantastic looking haversack! When and if it hits the North American market. I may just have to pull the pin.
The only problem I can see is the flap closier does not cover the top of the bag completely so it can let water in. A square flap with two fixings instead of the tapered flap with one would have been better. Otherwise it is OK.

Great looking haversack - looks to be very functional. Not crazy bout that front closure but that would be an easy fix. Great review - do you happen to know when it will be available here in the states?

Was curious if you know when it will hit the American market
It looks like a good enough bag but the lid flap looks a bit suspect. When you put the bag down on the log at the very beginning of the video both sides of the flap had flipped up and the contents were not covered. For a few dollars more they could have used two closures on the lid and used a little more fabric with less taper. Maybe I'm being a little picky but I stay in a high rainfall area. ATB
Since you own both my totally serious question is what would make a person buy this over the helikon tex satchel? I wanna buy one or the other, but im not sure what the main difference is. I don't wanna pick the wrong one when the other would better suit my needs.

Did this cost more than their original haversack with the zipper top?
I don't necessarily dislike it, but do think there's much better options for carrying your tools/supply.
huge help with your review, its nice but its not for me - its features are nice but the single closure with silly little buckle and the awkward front flap that doesn't really seem to cover the ends that well are 2 things that are really going to annoy me, I was torn between the Bushcraft Satchel and this haversack that i just discovered today.
i appreciate your other review of the Bushcraft Satchel, its really cool demo of the item and liked the mention of the Grimlocks - will have to look into them - great demo of a great product

Can't wait to hold it in my hands tomorrow. Ordered the same color. The one thing I'm not sold on and I don't understand why they chose this is the type of closure. I don't get why they didn't use something similar to the essentials kit bag I got. Nothing wrong with that system and fast and easy to oben and close one handed.
Yeah I was the 500th like I love that haversack I want to get me one of those same color too
This is a nice bag. Always appreciate good organization capacity but the nylon construction is hard to buy into. I'm on a mission to avoid plastics wherever possible. Even good nylons start to break down over the years. Interior coatings delaminate. I love the feel and durability of waxed canvas. Yeah it's heavier but for me that's a cost I'm willing to absorb for natural, rugged, long lasting material.
Hair from my dogs is my permanent reminder of the unconditional love that they give me. And how happy they make me!

That and the bergen backpack look amazing! I'm still waiting for their entire new bushcraft line to show up on amazon. So far they only have the dump pouch and the compass/survival pouch.

Satchel is a bottomless pit ;) Stil...it lacks orderliness whitch this haversack provides.

I’m sorry this bag is awful, and it needs a total redesign, closure tab awful, no hook & loop in the main component, shallow front hook and loop pocket flops when you place a weapon there and you can see it every time you open the bag. The molle webbing is awkward, towards side/front, limits size and shape of accessory bags. Side pockets are tight, front flap closes awkwardly because of the strap being in the way. It’s a good looking bag with many design issues, I will be returning mine. Thanks..

It’s a silicon ring. I wear it because it’s a safer then a metal ring.
@@ThePreparedWanderer Oh ok ... thank you for clearing that up. I wear a chunky platinum wedding ring and I have never had [roblems at the gym or had it catch on anything in a fight. But it is your left hand.

Not 58 but 95 closures. 58 was heavy canvas and metal buckles sad personal experience ! 95 ? Great materials disappointing clips never any good.
