    hi richard,
    i ended up undoing the stitching on one end of the strap, switched the fixings and sewed it all up again. now i can use it with the shoulder strap or clip the two bag ends together to make a handle and the strap can double as a belt ;)
    thanks for the great review.

    I just subbed the other day, I have this in Adaptive green, I like it and holds a little more that your average haversack, The only thing I wish they'd do is to make it 1000D Make it a little more rigid

    I use one of these with a camera insert for summer time macro photography when a ruck can give you a sweaty back.

    Good review. Is that the coyote version?

      @originaloutdoors  7 месяцев назад

      Yes it is, it seems to match the coyote colourway from the rest of the Helikon range.

      That is the Wunderbird Gyrfalcon hoodie, I wrote a review on it back in 2018. The brand is currently 'on hold' according to the last post I saw of theirs on social media (back in 2020) It was a good hoodie, designed with birders in mind and useful when using neck-slung optics such as binoculars due to the large chest pocket ideal for stowing them when not in use. It was great for taking the weight from your neck and preventing the annoyance of having heavy, expensive things swinging from your neck in rough terrain.
