Hey Mr. Mista. Great video, I was waiting for it...:D Thanks a lot man!!! And also thank for use your voice explaining at the same time!!! I remember yours olds videos...kind of hard to read them, because the color letters and pass so quickly....;D
Fantastic video brother, thank you. Going to refer to this when it's time to rebuild the engine in my 2001 PX125. Have legshields and floor to replace first lol Then engine...fun times in the coming months :D
both works of course, for me its more convenient to set it afterwards, as i so have more control over the shaft seal spring, that it stays where it should and doesnt jump out.
Last week i closed my px engine. For the first time in 10 years, the fly seal's spring jumped out. I had to maintain the new seal with a little screwdriver because it did again. Next time i will fit the seal after assembling. I think it's because of the little oxydation on the crank.
@@FreakMoPed8 i know, Du mentioned it somewhere in your video, but ich glaube that it would be interesting if you tried to tune smallframe vespa, since the engine has different construction than the large frame counterparts 😎😎 Even die kupplung is on the primary shaft, not at the crankshaft
and i do have way too big Fingers for a tiny smallframe engine 😉 Heard that soon a largeframe engine case is gonna be available where smallframe hardware will fit 😉
1:24 them gaskets are crap I fitted them to my carb and box 4 times because they keep leaking and now my gear selector box is leaking now after I cut my own gasket for my carb Would definitely not recommend
Disagreed. These are the very best gaskets, use them eversince, without any problem. You need to ensure that all sealong surface edges are rounded, otherwise it will leak. Thats a rule for every case when two parts come together, always make sure that there are nur sharp ist edges (and damages) for the si carburettor: sandpaper the bottom, it likes to ankle. If it leaks its mostly the lid od the filter chamber. Wromg lid, ankeled lid etc

break a leg! :D
Awesome videos, and very informative as always boss!! Keep it coming mate!! ✌🏼🤘🏼
🙏 will do 👍
Always helpfully
Excellent video as always Mr. FreakMoPed. But wait: What the heck are you doing at 8:20 with the... "centering bolt"?? I am unfamiliar with that.
the two halfs are centered with a bolt at the bottom. guess most of the time the bolt is not taken out but remains
@@FreakMoPed8 yes, that bolt I assumed was pressed in and was not to be messed with. Evidently though it can be.
it does move. belive me :D
easier to do fly wheel seal as engine in half thats
what ive found over the 35 years building them

Hi, please advise what sealing paste you are using before you put gasket on, many thanks Jim
dirko GREY/GRAY it is , the red HT does stick like hell! and is very hard to clean off
I put jb weld at that weak spot.
thats too dangerous for me, i trust sealing mass more, and if it comes off, it doesnt really do any harm in the gearbox (most probably ;) )
I used that way and last for years, fortunately that never comes off. (wish it never happen).
I watch your videos since you never talk in your vid, till you talk
I like new format.
i am shy ;o))
Mista I have a question.
What is the torque of cylinder head and the carter torque also.???
My engine is 150cc 2003
Its a 7 thread so its 15nm
@@FreakMoPed8 I got it.... Thanks a lot men!!
I appreciate it!!... :)
What's your opinion on lml,motors\scooters..bearings..are monkey metal, but what about the rest🇬🇧
i always replace the lml bearings. Dont trust them.
Servus!
Hey Mr. Moped
Why don't you try to play with small frame vespa?
i am 190cm 😉
