Alan Tudyk being the punching bag of the movie cracks me up! He can't catch a break 🤣🤣🤣 The scene where he's pouring beer on his bee stings kills me! While I don't normally enjoy 'hillbilly slashers' (Wrong Turn, etc), I enjoy this parody of the subgenre to no end.
Ppl talk about Tudyk but nobody mentions Tyler Labine. That dude is such a gem in everything hes ever been in. Very underrated actor. He actually appeared twice in the original X-Files tv series. He played 2 different characters. Hes been around awhile but gets little recognition. He deserves more.
Alan Tudyk is always so good in anything he's in. For a couple of fun but very different films he's in, check out A Knight's Tale and Death at a Funeral (original British version).
Tyler was in quite a bit actually. Hes been acting a long time. He was in 2 different episodes of the X Files as 2 different characters. Hes in “Reaper” as well which is super underrated. He has a few of his own shows hes done lately.
Still love seeing people react to this. I never would have given this movie a shot usually, but Tyler Labine told me I had to check it out.... glad he did. I asked him a couple years later if there was any plans for a sequel. He said theres been talks, but it was tough getting their (him, Alan & Katrina I believe) schedules to work out.
This movie has a magical universal appeal. I’ve recommended it to some of the most grimly, outlaw friends, and they loved it. I also recommended it to my super prudish, religious parents, and they loved it. This movie is soooo great. Everyone should, at least, know it.
In the beginning, the reporters were killed by Chad, face burned for recognition. He became a murderous hillbilly, the very thing he hated. He became his father
By the end, it's easy to forget the "three days earlier" time jump. A lot of people miss the connection. It hit me the second watch, when it popped up. I was like "Oh! That was Chad!"
If Chad didn't intend ANYTHING, why did he take his college pals on a getaway to the remote site of his parent's grisly massacre? I think a little 'billy-bashing was ALWAYS his true agenda. I do love the way this movie turns the cliché inside out. It's a lot of fun, and excellently cast. Thanks for watching & sharing.
“I shouldve known that if a guy like me tried talking to a girl like you someone would end up dead” is lowkey one of the greatest lines Ive ever heard. For sure the best line ever said in a horror or comedy.
It's also the line Shakespeare should have written for Romeo to say to Juliet after Mercutio ends up on the wrong end of a dagger and the play takes a drastic turn away from romantic comedy into bloody tragedy.
I first watched this back when I had satellite TV in HS. It was on a free movie channel and I thought about watching a horror movie so I thought yeah why not. One of favorite comedy movies ever. Like the budget is obviously pretty low but they made do. Alan Tudyk is freaking hilarious and I love the actor playing Dale. Acting that well showing insecurity and low self esteem was great.
The Evil Dead series is pretty good. It's starts off as pure horror with a bit of comedy in the first one. The second one has a lot more comedy and the third is straight up comedy.
Thank you for including the part where Tucker sarcastically says what he'd tell the officer and that the officer would have to be a moron to believe it, then it happens exactly as he said. I LOVE that.
I dont know how fast that kid was running but i dont think it would be fast enough to completely impale himself but the deaths in this movie are absolutely hilarious as theyre almost all completely accidental
Love your reaction.; you two are really cute together. This is one of the key movies I look for reactions to, it's such a favorite of mine. It's hilarious, tightly written, and Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, and Katrina Bowden do such a great job in their roles. Dale is one of my all-time favorite characters. I love the pancakes line; he never even considers he might be scary to someone, so she must hate pancakes. They got as far as a script for a sequel, but the script was so bad they decided not to do it. They are still talking sequel periodically, but they definitely want to be sure of its quality if they do one.
Great reaction. Such a fun, smart movie. People call Scream a comedic deconstruction of horror tropes -- this is a hilarious deconstruction of horror tropes (and I love Scream). Doesn't seem like y'all recognized Alan Tudyk, which implies that you haven't seen, and therefore obligates me to strongly request that you react to, Firefly and Serenity. It's SO good, and I'd very much like to see what the two of you think of it.
One of my favorite sleeper hit movies. I feel like they left the ending open perhaps in case of a sequel. But I also feel it would be hard to write a sequel script as clever as this one was. This should be left as is.
When I first saw this I noticed that the guy in passenger seat at the beginning was the bad guy that got the reporter and ruined that twist for my family. They didn't believe me and then my step dad rewound to look at the face again 😂 He was pissed and I was confused how anyone misses those kinds of things.
There really is a huge difference between education and intelligence! I have never seen another movie where so many people die in such ridiculous accidents!!😂
The whole movie is about misunderstandings. We only know what we see of the ending in the bowling alley. Leaving open what different people THINK happened in the background. There could be all kinds of weird things we would not expect to be the actual answer.
Dale told the guy in the Bowling ally how he got together with his girl. Im guessing the guy was trying to emulate it by knocking out the girl and taking care of her, like Dale
I think it's a bit rich to call out Tucker for being a peeping tom. The point of/the fun of/the reason for skinny dipping as I see it is that you might get cought.

Apparently the pouring beer on his wounds thing was Tudyk's idea. Glad they left it in.
@@Crazyivan777that's awesome. it's so good, probably the best running gag in a movie with several all-timers.

The guy who jumped into the woodchipper... it gets me every time I watch this. Clever, funny and a lot of heart. Great film, great reaction.
"Are you okay?!" 🤣🤣🤣
@wolfHreda. I think that’s the funniest part of the whole movie, and I’ve watched it countless times. Thank you!!!

Let's not forget him as Wash in Firefly.
This movie is blessed with two great assets:
1) Alan Tudyk
2) Also, Alan Tudyk
Hey, the guy who played Dale is amazing, and he's surprisingly not been in much.

If you haven't already, Army Of Darkness needs to happen! Also, point of fact, revolvers don't have a safety.

Fun fact. The camera guy in the beginning that died was the director.
The evil dead original. This made me laught like that. The writing and lines and compassion in this movie, made it a comedy cult classic
The chainsaw scene and the guy just straight up diving into the wood chipper will never fail to make me laugh
"I sawed into a beehive."
"Why?!?!?"
Side note- - revolvers don't have external "safety" switches. A revolver is in "safe mode" so long as the hammer is not pulled back.
I just now realized... how in the world did Dale know what board games were available.
He mentions when he and Tucker are first looking around the cabin, "Hey, they got my favorite board game"
Love that y'all are back🖤

Tucker and Dale Vs Evil was a surprise favorite for me, this is one of the few instenses that shows Horror comedy can be done.
This is one of the funniest horror-comedies ever! Tucker & Dale are just so absolutely innocent & helpful.

This is a very funny crazy and insanely gory comedy horror film.
There were talks of a Sequel but it was cancelled due to lack of interest.
That's a shame. This movie is criminally underrated as far as I'm concerned. I'd have loved a sequel 🥺
Honestly, this movie strikes me as lightning in a bottle. It sucks there's no sequel, but I'd rather have no sequel than a shitty sequel.
@@WisteriaDrake You bring up a fair point. There's always a danger of that...

You have to try Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, a very unique and awesome horror movie parody/mockumentary.
