I go over it at the 38 minute mark. Either way you will need both aspects (the different policies as well as the election process), but I don’t think your suggestion is unreasonable at all. The way I structured this is to get moving on playing a little bit quicker, but the biggest weakness in my method would come if the steps were being explained as you played and someone wanted to do an immediate election action up front before discussing it, but even there if the table leader understands how the game works, they could walk everyone through the election process at that point.
asking for clarification in the basic action: selling to the foreign market. Is the transaction made by the middle class still can be done by the capitalist?
The selling to the foreign market action can be done as many times as you want to take the move until the card is replaced. Not only can the middle class and capitalist both use the same foreign market card to take the move, but those players can use the market on multiple turns in the same round if they have the goods to sell. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
@@LakesideGamers5thank you so much for this! I had a hard time deciphering “once per action” if it is per turn or as an action phase as a whole for both capitalist and middle class 😅😅
Once per action is every time you play a card (or discard a card for another action). Any time you see that in the rules you can apply that instruction accordingly. I hope you are enjoying the game!
It's not the most optimal strike, but it definitely can happen. Rulebook page 16: "If a strike token is placed in a middle class company (always needs middle class worker to be operational) with a working class employee, only the production bonus that corresponds to that worker is skipped."
@wicaksonoadi1035 you're both correct here. OP is correct as the example in the video shows putting a strike into a Capitalist company that only had MC workers.
Thanks for this! Well done and much appreciated as I'm teaching this at my next session.
You are welcome! Good luck and have fun. :)
Thanks to your vids I actually understand this game.
I’m glad to help! It is such a great game.
This video is amazing and such a help! Thank you!
@16:00 I think it's more important to teach HOW policy voting works before you get into the weeds of all of the different policy permutations. imho

30:05 that company can not strike because it has middle class workers on it.
