He almost died because of the icing problem which he fixed in version 2. He gradually innovates the suits over time improving them with each suit being an improvement over the next - it is a theme up to Endgame. There is even a joke about this at the beginning of Infinity War were Banner is surprised at the nano suit and its firepower. This helps him use the Nano particles to take back the Infinity stones. Tony being impulsive and then making up for his mistakes is the whole plot of Avengers Age of Ultron... Tony builds something without thinking through all the implications and disaster ensues. It makes no sense that even testing a new machine that he would not always START with, “how do I not die if it break down in flight?”
      You would not catch the Air Force flight testing a plane without a parachute for the pilot.
      I mean, it would be one thing if they had written the scene where because of some malfunction the thing just plowed into the ground, the way sometimes pilots pull a CFIT without opportunity to bail out. This movie turned the tide to Marvel. As a kid from the 80’s I’ve seen them all starting with DC. When Marvel came out I got goose bumps the way I did when I saw Superman for the first time. I was always a Marvel Kid, growing up in NYC, and visiting Marvel Comics Group, as it was named on the lobby floor. Met some very cool cats, everyone was super nice, but my art wasn’t up to par; these things happen. But then Civil War came out, and man I was hooked. The Russo Brothers really had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, story wise, continuity, cinematically, the works. I knew who they were, and what they did. But it changed for me. I don’t get upset when some movies fail, these things happen. You can’t win all the battles, but winning the larger ones when it counts, that’s what it’s about. The closes thing DC got to putting a team together was a tv show back in the 80’s, ant recall the name of them, maybe super friends; and it was corny, but it’s what we had at the time. I think they feared trying to put too many actors in one screen shot, for the theaters. But Marvel did it, and in less time than DC.
    So yea, I can’t wait to see the future of Marvel and what they do. Not all films will do great, but let’s get the ones right when it counts. All I ask is, please do the reboots every twenty years or so. Not 10 years, and not 5 years. It’s a waste of filming and an insult to those comic book fans who loved our comics.

      I never understood why people were taking Tony's( aka the government's) side here. Of all the things that happened, basically the only one where you can put blame towards any Avenger was Ultron coming into existence. And that was Tony's fault and his fault alone. New York was the Avengers defending the planet against an Alien force, Washington was Cap defending the world from Hydra. And so on. And instead of being thankful, they put the blame on the Avengers and while I can understand from a psychologial standpoint why Tony went with it, it was basically just another one in a long row of very stupid mistakes he was making all the time because of his ego.

    • @jaxonhumphreys671
      @jaxonhumphreys671 Месяц назад +4

      You clearly don’t understand the film then. (This only applies to the film though,the comics just suck). Tony felt guilty for all the collateral damage the avengers have caused,so he was so adamant about the Accords because he hoped it would make the world a safer place and he could hopefully assuage his guilt. Steve on the other hand found out that Hydra had infiltrated SHIELD and thanks to the power SHIELD was granted it almost succeeded in taking over the world, so allowing a government agency to have that much power over the avengers was a definite no from him. If an organization that was founded by Peggy could abuse its power,in his mind no government could be trusted with that much power. Plus when he went to Peggys’ funeral Sharons’ speech almost sounded like Peggy giving advice from beyond the grave to him, so he was gonna follow it.
