Sending you so so much love Dakota. We are the same age and I also struggle with addiction, we are so similar it’s crazy and I’m crying- I feel your huge heart and that you have a lot of gifts you’re meant to share with people. Fr girl pls reach out for support, that’s what has helped me more than anything else. I couldn’t trust my own mind in addiction so I had to listen to others who have been through it and do what they say exactly even when I don’t wanna do it at all. I don’t live in Portland but still please if you’d like my contact info just let me know. You can do this ❤️

It breaks my heart. Such a smart, positive and beautiful young woman. Dakota, if you read this, I was a heroin addict from 17 to 26 or so. I got on methadone and ultimately that is what allowed me to get my life together. Now I am a loving father of 2 and made 7 figures last year as a web developer and content creator. I have chronic anxiety and depression as well. My point is, if I can do it, I believe anyone can.
I am 41 now and you are closer to my daughters age than mine. So it breaks my heart to see you still struggling. I know how it is for pretty young girls on the street. It’s NOT safe. Like you said, so many creeps. I really hope you get/got on the clinic. Don’t listen to the naysayers. It saved my life, literally. I would be dead without it. Nothing else worked.

Lets be honest drs are the worst at getting people addicted to drugs. for over perscribing. but hey. it makes drs, big pharma, fda, gov big money. so its ok. dont forget insurance companies.

I'm a retired attorney who was actually homeless months after having earned my law degree. I slept in stairwells with my law diploma roll up and inside my backpack that I used as a pillow. Somehow despite my intelligence and academic achievements I just had a persistent feeling that I was born a round peg in a world of square holes.
That feeling of being weird and never fitting in never left me throughout my career and is still a huge part of who I am. What helped me was that I stopped blaming myself and others around me for how I felt. I came to accept it the way you accept the color of the sky or breathing. It is what it is. And I determined to put one foot in front of the other. Stop fretting about the future and leave the past behind. Our ideas and opinions of past and future are fictional, however real the events may be. What really amazes me is how real life, actual events that happen to us happen the way they do because of the fictions we create and imagine about them.
People will try to convince you that their version of the past is the correct interpretation, or that their assessment of the future will best prepare you to act correctly and in your best interest. Time has showed me that all the stories are mere entertainments. Nobody has all the answers, and even what seems the right answer now won't seem so in several years.
Dakota's greatest asset is time. Time is on her side. At her age I was a blithering idiot compared to her. She has an abundance of gifts that are likelier than not to lift her above her current circumstances. She could be the mayor of Portland one day.

" It's Okay to NOT be Normal, It's Okay to need HELP." These wise words from you Kota Kush really opened my eyes. You are an amazing young lady and I am so proud of you. Be strong for yourself and that cute close friend you have beside you. Everything will work out for you.
    Love from Kenya.

True, when you are caught up in addiction the only way to get out of it is to experience a period of extreme un-normalness hence the withdrawals but it is the only way to get out of it.

Even with the daily struggles you face your smile, positivity, and optimism are infectious. I come across a lot of people in similar situations to you due to my job, and I don’t think once they’ve had the attitude you have. Everything is always negative and they often take things out on those trying their best to help them. Judging from this you have a good head on your shoulders and know what you need to do to take your life down a better path. Wishing you success and safety in the coming months.

Where is her mom? I would never let my child be on the street even if they are in their 40’s.

Was homeless for 3 years, did drugs for 7 to 8 years and now i've been clean from everything for 2 years soon to be. I really hope you don't lose yourself like i did, didn't even know myself anymore. @@frankbasile3662 Oxys, fent and all of the suboxone clinic pills r bein abused. Pretty much the same shit as anywhere else, just a rather small country. They fucked the drug abuse game over w bringing the clinics here ngl. Ppl use suboxone pills to get high/well instead of getting off opioids with the help of them. Plus they try to get u to stay for like fucking 10yrs on it which is fucking absurd.
