Many Swatches simply are not (most if not all of their quartz watches can not be opened without destroying the case and or the crystal), but the ones with mechanical movements i.e. ETA 2842 (pre-System 51) and transparent casebacks I would say generally are repairable. This includes some plastic and some metal models. The plastic ones are actually easier to open than the metal because the transparent casebacks come of a bit easier, I presume because the plastic case is more forgiving in terms of pressure on the transparent caseback.
