Usually, I don't like when a keytar player uses guitar like sounds cause they make it look cheesy... That's not the case on this video at all! You ROCK that Keytar like nobody's business!!! 👏🏻👏🏻
I just recently started with keytaring 😂 but this is next level sir. You are awesome! I also want to learn this track? What is the name and where can i find it?
Thanks so much, I was tired and recorded this at about 2 in the morning when I couldn't sleep lol. There's a few errors in the playing. The track is unfortunately not available online as I wrote it specifically for this video
@@KeytarGabriel I can only find "Rock Guitar". I cannot find "Dry Guitar". I just purchased Kontakt 6 after watching your video. Is there also any latency when you hook up Ax-Edge to Kontakt 6?
hi there, no the sound would not be stored in the instrument unfortunately. A good option would be to use a laptop and Musiclabv6 and a small audio interface. That would also do the job much better
Piease do Still of the Night by whitesnake. I wish you gave keytar lessons. I’m in Nashville lol so I guess that’s out of question, but I’d pay for FaceTime lessons. What if you needed two different instruments in one song (like still of the night) and had to switch from lead guitar to strings (the bridge ), then back to lead guitar quickly ? I am having hard time finding the right instrument for the bridge of that song !
Thank you 😊 you now have given me a challenge which I accept, I'm gonna try and work on this today. Online lessons would also be a possibility so let me think about how we could do that considering the time zones 🤔 I will message you as soon as I can
I hope you’re still thinking about a way to help me with the key tar! FYI I can already play piano/keyboard , I just needed someone who can show me how to find which instruments sounds I need for the songs I need to play/ There are like 800 on here but I think If I give you specific songs , you can give me the names (or numbers) of the instrument for that particular song. Or I can use the MIDI through a program! I’m overwhelmed 🤪lol Thank you again!
Hey, really awesome! I have the same ax edge, but I am wondering how you get this sound out of it. Because I installed guitar rig 6, get a virtual signal, but no sound. Do you use it as a midi set-up in your DAW? Thanks for your help!
Hi no prob, well, I was using guitar rig 6 as a standalone, but there was no sound. It needs to be connected to a DAW I guess, because the ax edge is a midi controller? I am starting to use Logic Pro at the moment. But would it be possible to get a kind of sound like this out of the presets in the ax edge? The editor app can help maybe, but it is a bit of a question mark at the moment… So if you can/want to give me some advice, thanks in advance!
@@evelyndebels8518 It's difficult to emulate the complexity of this sound with the onboard engine. This sound can be achieved through Kontakt, namely the Shreddage library. You can run it through a daw as a VST if you'd like, or just standalone using the Kontakt Player. Just gotta hook it up to MIDI either via Bluetooth or USB and boom. You can also assign a lot of the expression seen here with the ribbon strips through the CC menu on the Kontakt Player. Cheers, man.
