I even attempted to make a song where I programmed keys to play lead guitar sounds instead of recording them with guitar but at the end I still recorded the song with guitars... I really need to get a keytar. I’ll have something I can carry around with me wherever I go and just pull out and pay whenever I want without having to learn how to play guitar since I’m already a skilled piano player

I'll eventually upgrade when I'm ready, but this is my starter to the keytar world and I'm excited to use it outside of just practicing! (I produce more than live playing instruments)

I own 15 keytar models from the 80s to now and sometimes i plug my guitar effect on my keytar to add some extra distortion and more metal side to my solos !
Great choices :) I think my favourite is the one I’m using in this video.. but mostly because of the inboard sounds and size of the unit. Perfect for flying 😃 I also have the KORG keratoses you mentioned , but I use them more for electronic synthwave gigs :) My first Keytar was a black KORG 😃😃😃
the Lucina is such a nice Keytar it is not bulky or heavy you could play a full concert on this :D another nice thing to use is the Yamaha Reface DX it has a keytar kit it is so cool as a Keytar :)

Oh yes :) And I discovered that after this recording. Because at first I thought the AX EDGE didn’t have it.. but it had … so yes … you get the same sound… and as a bonus you can program the effects and the sound itself as well… so the edge is PERFECT 😃😃

No, This is just a solo instrument. Although you can play tracks from a usb and mix it with the stereo output on the Keytar 😃
