Thanks for the great videos. Just looking at starting a small british force and heavy mortar + light howitzer + box of troops is what your videos have helped me decide on!
I use one of these and a JSU-152 when ever I see 4+ full or real close to being full strength squads in a platoon as 2 successive hits between these 2 can take that squad down to half and sometimes below half strength. The other reason is if there is a lot of ruins or buildings around I call this duo the wrecking crew for good reason.
With my Romanians I always take a heavy morta. I target my opponents artillery as find my opponents will be more likely to move than with a medium morta. It is also scary when you combine it with 3 medium howitzer in a single reinforced platoon. Could you do romania 🇷🇴 for your next faction review, their really cool as you can take them as axis or allies.
Im also running Romanians, im always taking a heavy Howitzer, the free medium Howitzer and a Nebelwerfer next to my heavy mortar and my TACAM R2. All this in one Platoon. Romanians have such overwhelming firepower 🇷🇴
Awesome review on the heavy Mortar. I always take the Heavy it’s worth the points cheaper than arty and with a 3” template 🤙 I feel it’s keeps ur enemy honest move it or lose it baby!!
Have you ever thought of trying Fistful Of TOWs? It's a micro-armor (usually 6mm) wargame that covers 1915-2015. I hear that it's very detailed, and relatively easy.
Ah Heavy Mortar, my best anti tank weapon.
