Ah. Always wondered about this. I only played Cabo with a deck of cards.

The Silver series card game is probably one of the few card games I can get my family to play. They don’t like resource management or deck builders but they love this game. We swapped out a couple of the cards but I would say we use most of the cards from the Amulet deck. Is it because it’s the easiest or is it because it was the first one we played? I don’t know. I’m just grateful that they’re willing to get off their phones long enough to play a boardgame as a family.

Cabo is definitely my favorite. Simple and easy. Amulet is my favorite silver game. I don't have coin yet but bullet is too chaotic. There's no strategy at all. Everyone just gets mad. Though I do like mixing the games. I usually take one or two cards from bullet and mix them with amulet. I'm excited to get coin though.

I hope you like coin! Yeah bullet can be very frustrating lol, but I agree, Cabo is still the best!

I played the original at GenCon and fell on love. It's the only one I own. Silver Bullet doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but Coin looks good.

My girlfriend and I are new to card games and board games, Cabo has been a blast so far. Which of the 4 games in the silver series would you recommend? Also are there any other easy and fun card games you would recommend?

Hi there, great to hear you are just getting into the hobby! There’s so much for you to discover together, I’m jealous! There’s a card game called “The Game” published by Pandasaurus games that we absolutely love and highly recommend. “Parade” (Alice in wonderland themed) is another one we really like but plays better at 3-5 players. In terms of the Silver games, it’s been a little while but I think we liked Amulet the best, I known 1 of the 4 versions we were not a fan of (whichever one had too much randomness in it). Hope that helps!

I just bought silver bullet, mainly for two players. Can you combine decks. i.e. vs. switching 10's for 10's or both? And witch other game would you add to Silver Bullet for 2 players?

Hey guys! A couple of questions. First of all, in terms of replayability how do you consider the Silver series? And, considering my game group is really into "take that" games, would you recommend the Bullet game over the others?
    Great video! Thank you

What are your thoughts about Cabo vs the silver series?

  • @BrandonGraham

At $25 a piece, you just reviewed $75 worth of games. Considering the quality of the cards, this game is nowhere near worth it for me. It was fun, but for this type of game it is hard to justify against other card games like Red 7 ($10), The Crew ($15), or even Sushi Go ($13).

Totally understand where you're coming from. The original - Cabo, is also very affordable in that regard. That's mainly why we chose to highlight the differences among the games, so that if anyone were interested in ONE of them, they'd have an idea as to which one suits their playing style. Of the titles you mentioned, "The Crew" has a substantial amount of play-time for it's price!

@Brandon Cabo is currently going for $10 on Amazon… only downside is that the box it comes is not made of durable material like plastic or metal. I bought it after watching this channel’s review if it! Thx from a new subscriber!
