Learned two things from this video: 1) there's at least one person out there that actually knows a song from Lion King 2, and 2) that there was a Lion King 2.
Disney went through this thing in the late 90s/early 2000s where they would do a lot of straight-to-DVD sequels to their classic animated movies. I used to always watch Cinderella III in my portable dvd player on road trips as a kid.
LOVE co-ops! My favorites: 1. The LOOP 2. Eldritch Horror 3. Pandemic 4. Mysterium 5. Just One 6. The Grizzled 7. Altar Quest 8. Unmatched: Tales to Amaze 9. Mansions of Madness 10. Daybreak
Surprised to see Eldritch Horror that high on the list :) I really liked it for a couple of years but it seemed sort of outdated last time I tried it. Have you tried Arkham Horror LCG?
It's an oldie but a goodie! I still love the globetrotting aspect of it that none of the other versions have. I think the LCG is great and really enjoyed it for a while, but finally sold it all because it became too much and too expensive to keep up with it.
I wasn’t aware how much I had begun to lean toward coop games until I did a pub meeple this year and like 4 out of my top 10 were coop and realistically 3-5

hi there! like you guys i play only co-op games, and would like to know, if possible, how do you think daybreak compares to other matt leacock games. it is going to be released in my country pretty soon, and, although i basically buy only cooperative games, sometimes i am afraid to get games that are very similar to each other.
@@viniciuslaurindo5396 I would say it is one of the most unique Leacock designs. Certainly does not really have a Pandemic feel in almost anyway way. I would compare it more mechanically (tableau building) to Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition or Wingspan, however it’s much more tactical and a little less luck dependent (in my opinion) than those designs.
@@CoryLovec14 i’m sold, since the unique trait is very appealing to me. glad to know it is not only as good as the leacock signature means but also something new. thank you for the kind response, great games to you and your wife !

Some of my favorites include: Mechs vs Minions Project: Elite Pandemic Legacy S1 Return to Dark Tower Mansions of Madness 2nd Ed The Crew The Shipwreck Arcana Just One So Clover Cross Clues Honorable mentions: Dead Reckoning (2p only) Lost Ruins of Arnak (2p only w/exp) Fallout (w/exp) A Message From the Stars (very new)
The "hungry" response at the beginning was hilarious. Another great video! I don't play too many co-op but here's what my top 5 would be: 5. Sky Team 4. Sprawlopolis 3. Marvel Champions 2. Burgle Bros 1. The Reckoners I've also played all of the above solo but I tried to base that ranking on how much I enjoyed my cooperative plays and how much I would look forward to another cooperative session of each one.
My faves: - Codenames: Duet - Just One - Horrified - Perspectives - So Clover - Dead of Winter - Black Orchestra I also have a soft sport for Pandemic and Mysterium, since they're some of the first board games I ever played. And I have had some crazy fun moments playing The Mind with friends. Would love to try the Lord of the Rings card game.
Mechs v Minions is my absolute number one grail game. Would love to play with y’all one day :) also I would agree with Jamie that Horrified is a modern classic came out in 2019 so I think 5 years old is worthy
Was just watching your Final Girl Terror from Above Friday play-through and you mentioned that you were up for ideas about other spooky games? Have you played Alien: Fate of the Nostromo? Or Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps? The former plays much like your beloved Horrified, Jamie. You can play it solo too. You can add challenge by putting Ash on the board for the entire game, along with the xenomorph. I got my copy cheap from Target but is not an expensive game (about US$25-30) and is very true to the original 1979 movie so I love it for that alone. Please keep up the great work for board game peeps! Especially love watching your FG games 🪓😎
Boss battler's are usually more focussed on fighting multiple bosses - like Monster Hunter; rather than an adventure that leads up to a single final boss.
Solid, solid, solid list!!! Love these picks-Vagrantsong and Ghost Stories are two personal favorites (we still need to play the White Moon expansion), and Cthulhu Death May Die and Mansions of Madness are on our want-to-play shelf (plus, while we haven't gotten Freelancers, we just got Forgotten Waters and have a group we think it'll really shine with). We're also big Horrified fans, and I'm wondering... have you heard anything at all about the "World of Monsters" version that's floating around online preorder lists? Seems like a big mystery...
Great list! With Ghost Stories and TMB in there, clearly tells how you like tough games! We love Subterra, Robinson Crusoe, and some iteration of Zombicide 😊
I think that you already played and loved Orléans. If so, you should try the coop version of it. It has become one of my favorite, even more than the original. Great list by the way and yes for Kraft Dinner!
You guys are cute together! I love how Jeff asked if that is why you put Too Many Bones at number 2 being for name I would do that. Have you guys not played Zombicide or Dragonfire? @FostertheMeeple I'm also very curious to see how it goes! I think a big factor is the people you play with and keeping the player count at 2 or 3 tops. I think for me, I play less of a variety of games and like to dive deep into the ones I have and this one offers so much.

Non American here: What's a 'Craft' (Kraft 🤔) dinner?
We’re also not American! :) haha it’s Kraft Dinner which is boxed macaroni and cheese!
@@FostertheMeeple I suspected something like that, that's why I thought it might be with a 'K' 😎👍
Btw, 'vagrant' is pronounced like 'vacant'. Same with pagan 😉
Hey! Where's Albion's Legacy? Tannhauser? Fallen City of Karez? 😉🙂
Great list! Great channel!
Your microphones seems to be clipping/maxing out in this video more than usual
Yes I had adjusted the gain trying to make them better but it didn’t work haha they are back the normal settings again
Its always cool to experiment!
Have you played Slay the Spire? Amazing coop. Black Orchestra as well.
Really wanna try both of those! Esp Black Orchestra.
We haven’t played either but really really want to!!
Making me want to revisit Stardew valley :) great list!
Kinfire delve is a weak 20 strong
You’ll be ok.
@FostertheMeeple absolutely, great video.
I LOVE Too Many Bones... but I HATE Stardew Valley... such a weird list for me.
Everyone loves different stuff!
I tried to ragequit stardew valley about 10 times the one time I played it :). (But no I don't love the video game so there's that).
Gave up waiting for her to actually get on with the point. My goodness, what a waste of 3 min.
What do you mean?
Nope, Too Many Bones is too good...🧐🤌
