My husband and I have been playing lots of Captain Flip! We created a more involved game where you go through all 4 boards and keep track of the total points and the person with the most points after the 4 rounds wins.
Do you think I could play Snowfall over Mountains with my 9 year old? It looks a little complicated. We'd just be on th "same team" since it looks to be a 1 player.
@@Beepbopboop19@Beepbopboop19 Yes I think you could make it work with a young player and play co-op. If ypu like the idea, check out A Gentle Rain too or Beacon Patrol. Snowfall over Mountains has a few more scoring options so, you could have yourself moor tools or specific tools that your little could use. Lots of fun is such a little box.
Always. Be. Fluttin'. You know what's easy to do with no bones? Fluttin'. You know who has no bones? Dandelions. Also, missed opportunity, Jamie! Commit to the bit! If you would've kept slowly latching your arms and legs around Jeff's back like you were a sloth hitching a ride, I would've died laughing.
I try to avoid games that are so chill that winning isn't a main part of it (Telestrations being an exception.) Some chill games that I like are Just One, Jokkmokk, Las Vegas, Startups, Money!, Camel Up, Floriferous, and Skulls Of Sedlec with expansion pack (Merchants, Zealots, etc.)
Thank you for this! I always loving finding some extra no bones day games :) We actually had a no bones day game day today. Lacuna is always my Top game for this category, but we also played Crash Octopus, Sushi Go (party), Monikkers (but the two player, against the timer variant) and Cafe Baras 😊 I think because they were all light on rules and set up, and also play quickly- so we ended up playing multiple games of each
@@FostertheMeeple Thank you!! It didn't get released until a few weeks ago in the UK, so I've been playing it a LOT since it arrived haha. Ooh you should totally check it out! It plays in literally 5 minutes and its so cosy :) Plus the components have this lovely tactile quality to them
Some days the randomness of rolling bones stresses me out so In fully committing to the no bones and no bones theme I love my flip-and-write favorite Cartographers. So chill and fun. This is a great topic. Thank you! You sealed the deal for me on Seaside, Dorf Romantik, and Pollen.
Answer to Jeff’s question: depends on how soft it is. Great list, we play Bandito, Love Letters, and Coyote. Gotta have bees to Pollen-ate all those Apple blooms in the Spring. Now I need to find Seaside and Captain Flip!
Watching this on a prime ‘no bones’ Saturday. Great picks. I gotta just buy Seaside. Also, Jeff with the GMM hoodie - I knew you had good taste #fluttin
No Bones Days are the best days for gaming! Sea Salt & Paper is our go to, but really anything we can set up in like 2 seconds and already know the rules to.
I love Seaside - definitely a no bones game! You guys made me start up a Captain Flip game on BGA when I realized I don't have one going! And a Gentle Rain is the epitome no bones game. :) And fess up, Jeff, you were the kid in the elevator that pushed ALL the buttons, weren't you! *chuckle*
I've been wanting to play Fast Sloths for a while, Pollen is great, and Dorfromantik is the game my partner and I most enjoy playing together these days.
There’s multiple options! Check out for local game stores, lots of publishers offer their products online, depending on where you’re location there’s online options as well!
A true No Bones Day is spent watching other people talk about playing games. Thank you for your service.
lol!!! Thank you Jon!
I think "fluttin" is a cross between "flutter" and "floatin". Cause that's what dandelions do - they be fluttin.
Nice list. A Gentle Rain has allowed me to chill this year.
You guys are always just a joy to watch! Keep it up being you 😊
I go with my roll and writes for no bones day. Rolling realms, koala rescue, dungeon dice and danger, and cascadia rolling are my tops right now.

“Love a good flut” BAAHHAHAHHAA
I’m glad someone caught that!
Azul, Cribbage, A gentle rain, Snowfall over Mountains. All no bones games.
Great picks!

I was dying laughing about the poo bags. Thank you!
I also love your end outtakes.

I hosted a 24 hour gaming event last weekend and got to try Fast Sloths for the first time. Loved it! 😊
That’s awesome!

Cafe baras is a great one too!! We haven’t played Lacuna but have heard great things!

Cartographers, Kohaku & Bonsai are my top chill games 👍
awesome picks!
Patchwork. It’s thinky but doesn’t have to be. Like today I won by scoring -1. The other player scored -8. 😂 but we had so much fun
Lacuna is a great game.
Carcassonne is the no bonest game for me. A close second is That's pretty clever!.
great picks!
We love Project L! My friend still sells it in her store. I can't win to save my life though.
No Bones Days are the best days for gaming! Sea Salt & Paper is our go to, but really anything we can set up in like 2 seconds and already know the rules to.
such a great game to play when you are boneless
Great list. I really want pollen and gentle rain. Onirim and for Northwood are a couple of my no bones games.

Just played Dorf Romantik for the first time this morning; I think that will become a no bones day go-to. Strike is always a favorite, too.
@@gurnblanston2848 Dorf Romantik was made for no bones. Solid choice.
Isn't the whole point of being an adult that you can do whatever you want? Such as wear a onesie and eat cookies all day 😂
Absolutely so true
Line It sounds like Racko. Sadly, most days are no bones days for me! Well slap me with a poop bag!
I've seen Project L at Barnes and Noble
I've been wanting to play Fast Sloths for a while, Pollen is great, and Dorfromantik is the game my partner and I most enjoy playing together these days.
I want Fast Sloths, but it is very out of print right now. I am hoping for a reprint soon.
Koala rescue and Floriferous!
Keep on fluttin! Slap ya with a poop bag!
Juno! Puppy! 🥺
Where does everyone purchase these games from? I’m a newbie board gamer?
There’s multiple options! Check out for local game stores, lots of publishers offer their products online, depending on where you’re location there’s online options as well!
I cannot play puzzle games like Gentle Rain on a no bones day, I get too frustrated if I messed something up and can't complete it 😂
I totally get that!
What mics do you use? They sound so good.
They are DJI Wireless Mics!
Why is Jeff wearing a big, thick toque indoors? 😆
Why not?
My mom says sponge-bob instead of SpongeBob.
