      They do. You just have to pay a kidney & a lung for it lol.
      That's what makes this "lighting" décor thing so expensive, i.e the footage, or rather the (lack) there of
      I just bought a 13.1 ft led strip yesterday from "MONSTER" for $16 bucks. So basically that's over a dollar a foot smdh.
      Best bet is to by the larger reel size strip, but If you don't need that much & cut the strip the rest Is useless. That's for BASIC leds of course.
      You have to buy the more pricier LEDS with the connectors to reattach the strip connect & they charge higher for those
      It all just depends though on the brand/company you buy your lights from. & what lumen quality you are seeking I suppose.

      •never stuck to anything
      •left a sticky mess that i have still the remains of to this day
      •randomly quit disconnecting and no matter how many times you unplug them or try to get them working in the app it doesn’t work
      •we’re just a waste a time and shitty
      i also have this govee lamp my mom got me in 2021 and has NEVER disconnected once so do what you will with that

      and by many i mean at most 5-6 because of all of those assorted reasons i literally took them back to walmart every single time, got a refund in the form of a gift card and when i did i just bought a different brand and the same thing kept happening until i just gave up… and if you are thinking about getting strip lights DO NOT get any other band that is not govee i’m warning you

    I have Govee and it is the best LED lights I have ever bought. The ones that I had before would peel off my walls and they wouldn’t stick. But I have had Govee for abt a year now and still staying strong.

    Actually 60 LEDs per meter has been standard for years with most high quality strips.
    So no Govee has not done anything great by getting out of the junk range and moving to the mid range.

      Have you heard about WLED??? You can make 5mts of 144 LEDs per meter probably for half the price and 10x the functionality, advise you to do so, that is what will change your view.... That is the game changer, not this.

    When you build one yourself, you can get more meters for $100 with 144 LEDs per meter… and you get more lighting modes.

    I would because of quality, reliability, razer chroma sync and it looks great. Worst is buying cheap ones on amazon and dealing with returns and a bunch of other bullshit.

    The whole reason behind me choosing Govee for all my LED shit is because they're not only cheaper than like Philips Hue, but the quality is amazing and the effects they do is also insane. Ontop of the app that works great for me, with no issues. Their light strips are my favorite, Govee is my favorite lighting brand lol I just got there Permanent Outdoor Lights which were hard to get.
    But to answer your question: If you want the BEST LED Strip Lighting, you're gonna have to pay a premium price. I'd say save up for them if you want them, if you don't wanna spend hundreds, go with the other models because they're still amazing products. I want the M1 Lights 😂

      The 30 leds per meter ones look good too, you just have to install an aluminum LED profile with a diffuser, which most people skip completely lol

      No they don't. They aren't fully complete with 30 per meter on any diffuser, I just bought the highest rated diffusers and put the govee outdoor rgbic lights in them and they're still spotty. My guess is if you want a spotless diffused look, I'm almost positive you need 60 leds per meter or higher

    512 or 528 LED/m is where it's at. extremely thin profile and no diffuser needed. The phosphor is its own diffuser.

    Yeah! Everyone else buy cheaper ones! I'm using the Govee M1!
    There is a reason they are better and it's not shown in a simple video. You have to see them in real life to understand. They are nuts! 2x brighter than the competition.

    Buy raw 60led/m and an esp32 and 5v 10A power supply flash the esp32 with wled and you will put any govee to shame

    That’s old news. Time to catch up, dude. I bought my first 60-LED per meter strip in 2020 for $31! And that was not the cheapest strip available at the time. Now I mostly get the denser 144 LEDs per meter. I just checked and I found one on Amazon for $19, with 4.6⭐️!

    Govee didn’t change the game. Supernight has always had 6 LEDs/meter strips. They’re only $12 for 16 feet. They are excellent strips. Of course they’re 5050s on a black pcb strip and they’re not “smart” but you can always add your own smart components if you want. If you’re looking for practical bright lighting there is no better than Supernight 60/m strips.

      very easily. get an electrician that knows what they’re doing, also look into Quenetic switches (looks like a light switch but is wireless and doesn’t need a battery) they can be linked to a smart plug and turn it on and off wirelesly

    You can get 120 led per meter strips. Govee does not make the best strips, they make the best software to control the strips. You can get fantastic leds for a fraction of the price but you’ll sacrifice some control.

    Hot spots aside I understand that’s still one of the main issues and because it gives that weird look and 60 instead of 30 is a crucial change buts it’s not worth the $100 for 16ft.
