Thank you!
How did that stock trans hold up? I thought they didn't like anything over 600tq
From what we know, it's still kickin and gittin.
The factory transmission torque limits the car. Did you not need to flash the transmission?
We didn't flash the transmission, however through adjustments to torque limiters we can vector torque to keep the transmission happy!
What is this supra 0-60 mph?
Love the b58 I have one myself but you keep saying turbos and it’s actually just a single twin scroll turbo.
Thanks for watching!
Great video but what about fueling? Did you need to change injectors?
Nothing was changed from the stock fuel system. However a meth kit was added!
I would not want the water method system, only because I am not familiar with it and it seems complicated, but I would want the car mapped for 93 octane.
Wish you guys did some rolls
This supra sounds beautiful
Very true, thanks for watching!
@VividRacing, great video but have a simple question as far as intake systems go...... I've owned afe and injen closed box systems or do currently on other cars but I keep seeing ams as a popular choice on the supra. Is there truly any major difference between the 3 brands on their closed box system or would I be just as good with afe as I would be ams or injen (aka personal preference)???
Help would be appreciated before I drop the cash on it 🙏🏼
AMS is a great brand. I think with an intake there is just alot of marketing that goes into place. The injen intake will be equally as good.
@@vivid_racing Wow, thanks for the quick response. Seriously appreciate it, I kinda figured most of the choice was just cutting thru the marketing tape. I'll look at either one as my final choice. Follow up question if yall don't mind; if I were to go the route this video stated with sending in my turbo but go sans meth and stick to 93oct, what kind of power numbers "hp/tq" would be safe to estimate at?
My wife drives it all the time so I don't want her worrying about the fuel if you know what I mean.
😅
Can u still add a turbo kit while u have that turbo charger
You upgrade the stock turbos
@@vivid_racing I know but like can I add another big single turbo kit
Modified it into a AWD with supercharger and turbo... it will surely kick those Porsches out 😁
Would be interesting to see 👀
The Supra would still get gapped by the gt3 Rs from a dig.
Now on dyno it showed 600hp where did the 800 come from
I wanted to know if the b58 can survive with these types of upgrades for a while?
Sure can so many cars out there running way more too! Remember this has been out for 2 years now!
I would love some feedback from you Vivid Racing about my issue with my A91MT special Addition CU Late Grey Supra. on 12/30/22 on I30 near Texarkana my Supra front right wheel came apart at 90mph, the only thing holding the wheel together is the tire, and the tire has no damage. I know it sounds nuts, but I want you to ZONK the shit out of this. its completely torn apart 360 degrees around. Also toyota road side Assistance sucks, 6hours on the side of the road. I had to get the tow service myself
What kind of wheels?
@@vivid_racing Its the stock wheels on the 2023 A91 MT Special Addition
So… my Supra with hybrid twins also makes 650-750whp. I don’t get the point of the new Supra.. I guess this is the modern refined version of the mkiv which is better due to technology however the performance my 1993 delivers is equal. I really wish they released the Supra with 650bhp flywheel horsepower from the factory, manual, targa. It will feel worth the upgrade. However if you don’t own a Supra then the new Supra is a good buy it’s just hard to justify when you own the old one that does the exact same as the new one except I have a manual and rear seat to put my nieces and nephews
We hear where you're coming from, for the majority of A90 owners, this is their first supra! They love the technology upgrade and ease of drivability/comfort. Thank you for watching!
Good comment. Going to be interesting to see how easy/expensive it'll be to mod this ne Nissan 400z. (I'm torn between the two right now)
B58 has 2jz legacy. .
Soo if I want 600hp , stock B58 is ok right 😎👍
No it’ll blow
@@Dailyshart It obviously won't. You can tune it to 500-600whp without modifying the internals.
@@stefakyou6103 not true
@@Dailyshart Bro, these guys literally made 600whp with stock internals and there are countless other RUclips channels that have done the same
Idk what you're smoking but pass some of that shit over
@@stefakyou6103 ticking time bombs
What's it run et and mph at firebird. What's the mph gains from stock to modified in the qtr. I'm sure the modified Porsche runs low 10's or better in the qtr. thanks
They can upload video but can finish my order?? An exhaust..?
Cool video
Thanks for watching!
i dont care if you win by an inch or a mile, i'd take the GT cars any day lol
They are pretty sweet cars! 😂
you have to pay the double for it...
@@41519731 more like 6x more lmao
50kish grand + 15-20k in aftermarkets (after installation) vs 200kish (edit: + lol) ...pound for penny supra wins. money no object a new gt3 rs will drive circles around everything here on track (and that's the important bit imo) . you can build a bad ass drag car for much cheaper than these cars and destroy them. Track performance is king in my book and you just have to love Porsche, regardless their price, for what they achieve. End of day, with my checkbook...i'll happily take the supra with a couple mods
Great! All in how much does this cost one cost?
reliability has left the chat
Ooof. I guess if we're comparing it to a real rocket, then reliability is looking good... 😎🚀
I HAVE the 2021 2.0 twin Turbo Toyota Supra. I assume you have the 3.0 Supra to get the 800 HP. AM I correct??? Also is it possible to get more than the 255 HP out of my Supra????
Shoot us an email at sales@vividracing.com!
A little misleading. It’s not just a new turbo and a tune….. are we not going to talk about fuel mods required for this?
