Me coming back to rewatch this video only to realize that it came out a decade ago makes me feel old.
Damn, you should be hired at least for some special episodes.
I must say, I expected much worse than this...pleasantly, surprisingly good video. It was a nice balance you achieved between Yahtzee's style and your own.
First I didn't like this game, but then I remembered that there is a gun in that game that shoots shurikens and lightning.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen the ZP videos, and it's awesome how actually animating them changes them for the better. This is enjoyable as fuck to watch. I'd love for you to do more.
to be honest, I've seen my rendition of these episodes so many times and whenever I what the original episodes it just feels so uncanny.
All I can say is the adaptation from still image to full motion animation was absolutely flawless! Not a beat missed, and not a heart left un-stabbed.

I understand, not everyone must love everything. I can still feel proud with what I achieved with this adaptation and of the positive feedback from Yahtzee.

A portal 2 reference was a bit impossible at the time of making (just look at the uploading date), actually this idea came from Yahtzee's original video and considering it was made during 2007 it's unlikely that this was a Portal 2 reference.

I love how this fan remake perfectly animates the ElectroDriver (aka. The Gun That Shoots Shurikens and Lightning). It looks like a 2D sprite of the actual weapon if you've played and are familiar with Painkiller.

Minus the addition of animations this could totally pass for an unreleased episode of Zero Punctuation. And it would be one of the better ones. Great work!
Well, the additional animations is kinda the point, for good and for ill.

I didn't actually realize until the end that this wasn't an original Yahtzee. I just kept thinking, "Gosh, the animation looks so much smoother and nicer! Why doesn't he do it this way all the time?"
Gotta say, this is outstanding. You not only made the whole thing look great but all the stuff you added really kept in tune with Yahtzee's style. It almost feels like something he'd do if he was willing to put in a lot more time than he had on each video.

Man, if Yahtzee likes the gun that shoots shurikens and lightning, he must LOVE Ratchet & Clank. I could tank about the gratifying rocket launcher or the N90 Hurricane, but really the only thing you need to know is there is a gun that shoots HOMING BUZZSAWS THAT MULTIPLY ON IMPACT AND THEN EXPLODE!

I like the images better as they're much more iconic to imagine the scenario that's happening yourself and not having the animation spoil your adventure if figuring it out yourself plus the speech bubbles that piss me off because of my ocd that forces me to pause and read every single bit of pointless words

I'm not complaining at the sheer amount of enemies. I was just pointing out all of the enemies in that particular shot. Dude, Painkiller is still my favorite FPS of all time.

I had some fun making these, however I'm in a bit of a pickle recently.
I'm undergoing my first year of college, I want to be making original video that I don't think anyone would enjoy and I make these remakes on reviews I really loved about games I actually played.
Maybe I would some day, I seriously worked on the Wolfenstein one months after I started.
KDanielsS not sure what advice I can give other then don't do something you hate just because you know it will get a lot of views. I wish you the best of look sir/madam, you have ten fold the attention span I do (goes back to Dark souls)

The video style compliments the humor of Yahtzee perfectly. I also like the litle things that bring up your own personality (that is quite similar to Yahtzee I presume).

The animation is actually very good. You capture the essence of Yahtzee's substance really well, and it looks good. I wouldn't suggest trying to steal (half) his schtick -- cuz if nothing else, I enjoy his really, really amateur graphics reminding me how he started -- but you've got something definitely going on there.

I like how smooth the animation is, especially when he pulls out the gun and it upgrades itself with a giant belt, rocket in the front.
