Thank you for the video! I wanted to share a potential bug I found. I was working with an .XLSX file in Google Sheets (i.e., not a native Sheets document) and I created a filter view while a couple columns were hidden. In the filter view, I sorted the spreadsheet by one of the columns alphabetically. Then, I unhid the columns. I was surprised to find that the data is now misaligned in my filter view.
It was a shock to me because I am used to having hidden columns get sorted along with the rest of the visible cells.
Edit: I played around with this some more, and I think this behavior is mainly caused by having my two hidden columns be the last two columns of my table. After examining the “Range” box next to the filter view name, I see that the range excludes those columns. 😅

Hello, Great video I went to filter my spreadsheet and now I can not make go back to the original order now the numbered items are not matching up with the numbers. How do I reset the filter back to normal? If that makes sense.

Try going to File and then looking through the Version history. To prevent that in the future, select all the columns you may need when setting the filter.
