This watch was made for me. It ticks every box. I would wear it every day and break all those boring old dress watch rules. Glad to hear it’s as comfortable as it looks.
On point mate! I also wear mine to all styles. I almost only got vintage inspired dress style watches bc I just like them most and think that those divers and sports watches look too bumpy for me. Although I got to say that I wear a shirt or at least a sweater like in this video I‘d also wear it with a T-Shirt haha. Great watch!
The man is wearing an elegant long sleeve tshirt and the watch is perfect. I hate wearing suits and I love dress watches. With a simple stap change you can make a dress watch turn into a casual or sport-social watch. In this case, with the Flagship, I would consider use it with the OEM aligator strap, just like shown in the video, with jeans and a nice and clean tshirt. No problem at all.
Are you still enjoying your watch? I am debating between this watch and the Dolce Vita. Will have to try both on. Do you wear it with jeans, or do you think it is too dressy. Thx.
I'm looking for a quality watch, considering Tissot but after watching your review I think it's a Longines Flagship, wearing it would be such a joy, thanks.
This is definitely on my to-do list, right after I rebuild my watch-buying reserve that was recently depleted by the purchase of three other watches...

Love it! Like the look of it and tried it on in person...twice. Looks great and agree, easily the most comfortable watch I've worn. Been drawn to it as a 50th birthday present to myself....... Its funny how you can look at 100 of watches and nothing will click and then you see one you have to have.....
Thanks for your comprehensive introduction to this watch. As can be seen in the time-lapse shot starting at 6:40, the axis of the seconds hand is suspiciously wobbling. Not a sign of high production quality, is it?
Great looking watch. Like the video (subscribed). This watch is at the "outer limit" size wise for me; I like to stay between 34-38mm. I wish there were more dressy options in this size range. Longines seems to offer really good value in their offerings.
Hi Pete, Thanks for subscribing! I agree with you that dress watches should be smaller and more reserved. That just adds to their elegance. There are still some options available in this smaller range, but there are plenty of vintage luxury watches that fit this size range as well that I dream of owning... maybe one day. Haha. Thanks for watching, -Jon Rihtar
Hello again Matt, Those are both nice watches, each with their strong points and unique aspects. I like that the Conquest has no lume, and the hand shape looks nicer to me. That 12-o'clock date window throws me though. Thanks for the comments. Keep them coming! -Jon Rihtar
I looked at the Moon Phase version of this watch, and the jeweller said that the indices and the hands are solid 18k gold. I'm wondering if the hands on the small seconds are the same?
Hi Tim, Thanks for the kind words. This really is a beautiful watch. Also, I am hoping to one day review the Heritage Conquest. Thanks for watching and subscribing! -Jon Rihtar
Hi Paul, This is a very nice watch for sure, and such an elegant dress watch. However, I can't say that it comes close to a Patek or VC, but it may appear that way I guess. Haha. Thanks for watching. -Jon Rihtar
Thanks for the video. I have this watch and it's great. But it's running around 6sek slow. The AD told me that was normal. I wasn't really satisfied, comparing with the ETA of my Conquest ran dead accurate. But according to you, this is actually outside the specs?
Thanks for the comment Wolf Pack. I am actually making a plan to get my hands on several Longines divers, most popular being the HydroConquest. Excited! Thanks for watching. -Jon Rihtar
Hi John, I can understand putting a date on there for someone who needs a dress watch for their business needs, for example those who need to wear a suit every day. But you are absolutely correct about the lume. Thanks for watching, -Jon
Hi is the gold color too eyes catchy? I would like it to be less low profile, this is the only concern that holding me back. Appreciate any kind inputs or advice. Thansk.
I like Longines watches and have two of them. However, any watch with a small seconds dial that does not have 60 seconds indices is a NoGo. Therefore in this case, I prefer the Hamilton Navy Pioneer Small Seconds, which has it all, especially on a Hirsch strap with blue highlights that emphasize the heat blue hands.
Hello Jon! Thank you for the review. Very beautiful watch, but I like better a 60th anniversary version. The 60th anniversary version on my bucket list, but next time I buy a new Moonwatch, or a Planet Ocean.
Hi Zsolt, Thanks for the comment. The 60th anniversary is a beautiful watch also. Good luck with the moonwatch or Planet Ocean! I'd love to see a pic when you get one. Thanks for watching, -Jon Rihtar
Well done review, and without exception, I agree. Please note, however, that upon purchasing this watch, I had to immediately replace the "tooth" for the buckle on the band. Sadly, it was too short, and would not secure the band. A simple fix, but had I not immediately noticed it, the watch could easily have fallen off my wrist and been damaged. As indicated by the reviewer, it is an excellent dress watch and looks great with a suit and French Cuffs. I am an attorney and frequently appear in court. It is elegant, yet not pretentious. Enjoy it if you choose to purchase one. Gary Mitchel Gash, Esq.
looking at buying my first ‘serious’ watch. found myself deciding between this and the conquest heritage but seems inpossible to decide! (also a slight interest on the dolce vita with blue hands!). Helppp!
I like champagne coloured dial with silver bezel. With longines watches I see too much white dials which I'm not too keen on. Silver dial is not too bad though also but with watches I like silver strap, silver bezel- therefore to have a silver dial also is a bit too much silver. That's why a champagne dial provides a little contrast. But champagne is best as it has vintage air about it. But wish they'd make 36mm case size
Seems like Longines can't fix the issue with the date \ window spacing on any of their watches right ! I've got their Conquest VHP GMT and there the date disc is also misaligned in the window ! To bad since I'm a really big fan of Longines .
Another Swatch watch that’s *almost* perfect except for a few details they just couldn’t resist putting in to annoy their customers. Why put lume on a dress watch? If you must, why just the hands and not put a plop at each hour? Why OH WHY a 19mm lug width? Infuriating Swatch Group.
Hi Leonardo, Thank you for the comment. The Flagship Heritage does not have a screw-down crown, and the movement does include hacking. This detail and any other information you may need can be found in the written article: www.watchspec.com/longinesflagship/ I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! -Jon

You described it perfectly
Longines is super fantastic and has a lot of history should be up there with Rolex
I just bought one yesterday it's look beautiful and stylish
It is the perfect watch. for me even everyday one.

I was wondering the same thing - wonder if it has something to do with the gearing.
Great review John. I love this watch! Do you still own/highly rate this one?

You have good taste in watches
Thanks man!

I just bought this watch 😍
Longines is amazing value
On my list for sure , class.
Gorgeous watch, I’d probably choose the Longines Conquest heritage instead after having tried on both.
Great video 👍

Just got mine today!
I think it also fits perfect for a casual outfit.
Thanks for this video.

Good review. Lovely watch. I also like their 36mm Heritage Conquest. Subscribed!
Hi Tim,

This watch seems classy like a very expensive watch like Patek or VC.
Hi Paul,
This is a very nice watch for sure, and such an elegant dress watch.
However, I can't say that it comes close to a Patek or VC, but it may appear that way I guess. Haha.
Thanks for watching.

That seconds hand is wobbly
Very nice presentation. Well done
Nice video. Nice watch. The cut on that cigar was all the way into the head! Maximum draw! lol

longines diver, flagship heritage,moonphase..are the best longines watch..vhp best quartz longines watch..
Thanks for the comment Wolf Pack.
I am actually making a plan to get my hands on several Longines divers, most popular being the HydroConquest. Excited!

why do they put the date in dress watches. and loom. great vid. and it wont cost 2 to 6k to service. great brand
Hi John,
I can understand putting a date on there for someone who needs a dress watch for their business needs, for example those who need to wear a suit every day. But you are absolutely correct about the lume.

What year was this model released?

May I please know what band you bought. Looking to change on my watch too.
Thanks
looking at buying my first ‘serious’ watch. found myself deciding between this and the conquest heritage but seems inpossible to decide! (also a slight interest on the dolce vita with blue hands!). Helppp!
Was considering b/w this and HC, ended up with this, just now, a few seconds ago lol
great...another watch to save up for...
The Flagship models are beautiful1
I like champagne coloured dial with silver bezel. With longines watches I see too much white dials which I'm not too keen on. Something about the cigar that makes it som wannabe for me. Love the watch though.

Where did you get your shirt from?
The anti reflective coating is on the inside, does that mean the watch won’t get scratched easily on the surface just as normal sapphire crystal?
Just as normal
Great video and watch! But aren't you destroying the taste of the cigar, smoking it that hard? 😮
You cut the whole shoulder off that cigar. HORRIBLE 😂
I did cringe a bit.
How is the handwinding experience?
The hand-winding is nice in my opinion. It provides both tactile and audible feedback that the mainspring is winding.
Thanks for watching!
-Jon
These faceted markers are applied at every hour (he said) Well, I didn't see the one at 6 o/c, so did it fall off at some stage?
Hmmm.. champagne or black?!!
The s in Longines is silent.
is the crown of the L615 screw down? is the movement hackable ? Thanks for the infos !
Hi Leonardo,
Thank you for the comment. The Flagship Heritage does not have a screw-down crown, and the movement does include hacking.
This detail and any other information you may need can be found in the written article: www.watchspec.com/longinesflagship/
I hope this helps.
Thanks for watching!
-Jon
The lumen is a bummer.
Is this guy an "Influencer"?
7:08 seconds dial has so unbalanced movement lol, like some chinese $25 watch.
😂
Good looking watch, ducked up quality
Take the cigar label off first! What kind of gentleman are you?!!! 🤣
Awful, distracting muzak.
No way.
