As someone who just started collecting, I overlooked Longines. No more. From what I see here, it looks like the highest quality watch you can get for the money and they are simply breathtakingly beautiful. Their heritage also speaks for itself. None other than Albert Einstein wore one his entire adult life.
Just purchased my second Longines watch. The Aviation ‘big eye’ in Titanium.
Superb column wheel chronograph for the price.
They have a massive catalog, and are keenly priced across the range.
The heritage and master collections are absolutely beautiful. LOve them all!!!
You are correct, Julia! Do you a Longines watch?
- George
@@BurrellsUk thank you. Im planning to buy 29mm with black dial watch from master collection. They look very beautiful on my wrist. In principle im very impressed with longines high quality and affordable price combination. I think its the best choice.
@@juliaadesa I agree; Longines certainly have a beauty. I'd love to invite you into store to try on a few watches from the Master Collection, where are you based?
- George
@@BurrellsUk Thank you. I live in the Netherlands.
@@juliaadesa If you ever visit the UK in the South East, please stop by our Tunbridge Wells store and chat to us about Longines watches!
i have the Longines Dolcevita Stainless Steel Blue hands, almost similar to the Cartier Tank, but i really love it, it's one of my favorite in my collections.
Those blue hands on the Longines Dolcevita really add a flavour to that watch. What are your other favourites in your collection?
Can washing in water if dirty ?
@@BurrellsUk .hello

The DolceVita is very difficult to find on the "used" market. I really do want one.

When I saw the DoceVita here on this program I was taken back on how my vintage Raymond Weil Tosca 9874 looks almost identical.
Same here.
I’m seriously considering making a Longines only collection.
The Hydroconquest, Dolcevita and Lyre are just so gorgeous.
I just started a longines only collection today...
I have the hydroconquest in gray ceramic and man it’s amazing
They are such good watches.
I just bought myself a Heritage 1969 for my birthday a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it!
I started with my dad's 1964 white gold with diamonds dial , then I bought a 44mm Hydroconquest blue face Automatic and I'm considering getting into the Masters Collection next. Once you own a Longines there's no looking else where!
Just got my conquest and I cannot stop admiring it! Looking at the Masters collection!
Love Longines. I have the conquest in blue and hydroconquest in black. Both autos and arguably the only watches anyone could need. Love the big eye and the dolce vita too and some of the heritage small seconds they're coming out with. Amazing quality for the price point imo
I think they are some the nicest watches on the market.
Longines rocks. Incredible build quality!
Received a gift from prestigious company in 1998 and up to now 2022 works well . Thought for repair but after a while actually the battery ran out ..😹😹😹 my favourite watch . Even Apple watch can t compare to simple and stylish watch .
I just bought that 2nd watch today. It's beautiful.
Looking at a nice ladies watch , classic
I just love Longines, I think they are very stylish and great value for money.
I have a Conquest Automatic 39mm Blue face , awesome watch.
True, Steve, the Conquest watches are very striking. What do you think drew you to Longines in the first place?
Love my Longines Record
I have a Longines Conquest titanium quartz watch with day and date which I was given in 1989. It's accuracy is less than three seconds gain per week.
That's excellent, Jim. Are you a fan of any other Longines watch?
- George
If I was to buy another watch it would probably be a Conquest VHP.@@BurrellsUk
@@jimtyndall1267 Longines Conquest VHP is another solid watch. Have you ever looked into the more dress style watches from Longines? The brand cover some different styles, something for many different occasions.
I love my Longines 23Z 1960
Hi there! A bit late for the party, but which one would you recommend for a dress watch? Master collection L2.628.4.92.0 or Record L2.820.4.11.2?
Just bought my Legend Diver 42 mm with pin buckle rubber strap
Excellent, that's a classic look. How is it sitting so far?
- George
how do you find out the serial number on a conquest watch ? , as there is 2 lots of numbers on the caseback .
Suitable : satisfactory or right for a particular person , purpose ,or occasion
I only have an Ultra Chron cal. 6651
Saw this makes me want to get more Longines watches
The Ultra Chron cal. 6651 is a stunning watch, AdilAji. Where are you based? I'd love to invite you into store and try on some Longines watches for yourself?
Very nice, but almost all with generic ETA movements, not in-house movements anymore from Longines. Very good movements from ETA but very very common used by other brands like Hublot, IWC, Omega and many many more....
Lovegines ⌚
the dolce vita looks amazing, is it a unisex watch? I'm wondering If I as a man can wear it? And its a Quartz, just perfect, you don't have to service the watch the same way as a mechanical piece, it just works perfectly
The dolce vita series has different sizes; the larger sizes are for men. There's a large (26 x 42 mm) quartz version with the model number L5.755.4.71.6, all steel. Go to longines.com and search for L5.755 and you will find it. That one is the biggest quartz dolce vita, I think. If you don't mind automatic models instead of quartz, there are bigger ones (they are automatic though) and their model numbers start with L5.757 or L5.767.
There are also mid-size models (23.3 x 37 mm) that are quartz, and they can be unisex if you don't mind the watch being a little small. Those model numbers start with L5.512.
I really would like to have a Longines DolceVita.
The Longines DolceVita is stunning, Morgan! I'd love to arrange a personal viewing of the DolceVita range for you, if you'd appreciate that? Where are you based?
- George
@@BurrellsUk I'd love a personal viewing but I'm in the USA and won't be in the UK until next August. Additionally, I've been forbidden to purchase any more watches until further notice. Sadness reigns.
@@morgan97475 Sadness indeed! I'm sad to hear that. I feel like there's a story there but I won't ask for your gossip...! Next August, if you visit the UK and are near one of our stores (Winchester, Tunbridge Wells, or Staines), then please let me know and we will arrange a viewing for any of our watch collections. I was looking for the st imier collection
Ah yes, that would be within the 'Watchmaking Tradition' selection. The Saint Imier collection is stunning, do you own one already, Shashank?
@@BurrellsUk realised that post commenting :) Yes, got a 41mm white dial chronograph. I think its a beautiful peace. Never saw any youtubers talk about it but went with my heart on this one.
Beautiful! And thank you for subscribing, we release watch/jewellery videos every week so I'm sure you'll be entertained! Where are you based? I'd love to invite you into store to try on some more Longines watches for yourself?
I'm interested in buying the Dolce vita (same as in the video but on a leather strap), but I see a lot of sellers selling them as a 'ladies watch'. I'm a guy with small wrists.. do I fit the target audience, or is it really a ladies watch?
In recent years, we're seeing "men's" or "women's" watches being swapped around and worn by anyone. We visited Baselworld 2018 and witnessed more and more women loving larger watches, for example the new (at the time) Tudor Black Bay 58 is a larger watch but had a strongly positive reaction from many women. My point is: wear any watch that you comfortable in! Regardless of gender! The Dolve Vita is a stunning watch and would look good on anyone's wrist.
Where are you based? I'd love to invite you into store to try on the Dolce Vita, and some other Longines watches?
