I will get one of these as my first luxury watch this year. Can't wait. I'm undecided over the blue or white version. The blue looks stunning in person but that white is so classy.
They all look great. I got the blue. The white seems more formal/dressy to me. I wanted a watch that I can wear everyday, and for anything. These days, people just wear what they want to any occasion, except for a very formal event. Good luck.
@@Brian-xu9di I'm building a three watch rotation. Black face diver, blue face adventure watch, white face dress watch. I'm 2/3 and this will be the white faced dress watch. I think that three watch combo is a good collection that will have you covered for a little bit of everything
I recently bought this conquest 38 in blue and I love it. I have been wearing it for a week non stop swimming with it in my pool going to the gym. It is a great watch very chic and sporty as well
I just purchased one the other day, but have not yet received it. I am a little concerned that even the 38 mm version is a bit too large for my 6.5" wrist, but it is probably because the watches that I do have are older, and much smaller. I don't think I will be jumping in the ocean with mine - but maybe I am just old fashion. I was stuck between the Conquest and the Heritage Sector, but decided that the Conquest was something I could wear for everything, and if I want - can buy a dressier watch later.
Yes you are right it runs a little large than a regular 38 watch but not that bad. My wrist is also 6,5 and it wears fine. Also it can be used for dressy environments as well
Thanks for watching! If you’d ask me I’d go for white. It’s easier to style and to wear daily. But that’s just my personal preference your taste and style is surely different so go for whatever version you like more.
This looks so classy, understated and quality. It doesn't look too "blingy". It doesn't look like a tuna can on a starp. Perfect balance between dress watch face and sportswatch case/bracelet. I don't need any more new watches, but I might get one of these anyway.

Thank you for the review. I have the champagne version and can tell that it is a gorgeous quality piece. A great move from Longines launching the Conquest in 38mm. They should have down this at the first place.
The lack of micro-adjustment is a huge mistake. I would have bought the blue dial 38mm if you could micro-adjust the size. I don't even need on-the-go adjustment. Just give me 3 or 4 holes to change the size with a springbar tool or toothpick. Fail.
Thanks for sharing. I wouldn’t say it’s a huge mistake 😅 - it’s something they can improve on for sure. But it’s also nothing that overly common for watches at the price point. you can obviously take out links and you always have the option to wear the watch on a rubber or leather strap.
Nice review. Butterfly clasp is a great disapointment. No micro ajustment is a big NO for me. What a shame because it is a nice watch in the right sizes.
I have 3 Longines and am considering adding one of these. As for the 19mm lug width, Longines has been using that size for many of their watches for years. So, I am used to it!
I would definitely add this to my collection. You can see the quality and appreciate its GADA flavour, styling and qualifications. The attraction of this watch is that it doesn’t have an awkward and unnecessary dive style bezel, which by all accounts, would make it cumbersome. This really is a watch that would be as comfortable in an office environment as it would be in a field. Quality watch in my books!
Yes! I have had my eyes Longines for about 1.5 years. Not yet. After the crash of wall st my finances may permit a purchase. The Conquest 38mm is an eye catcher. So for now I'm just a "WATCHER" .lol😂
The date disc seems a little off to the right, or at least the "23" … besides I find the idea of "Longines tweaks the movement" very romantic, wish I could feel anything like that regarding swatch group brands.
I have the chronograph version ( black dial with silver tri-compax timing sundials). I was concerned considering the cost of the watch and the fact that it is cam actuated chronograph, not column wheel (mind you so is the original Omega Moonwatch so perhaps I was unduly concerned). Although much larger than the time only variant, so far after having it for 6 months, touch wood I am delighted. Accuracy wise mine is running at around +/- a second per day, well better than COSC and more like the Metas Master Chronometer standard. Lovely watch. Wearing mine on the Longines black NATO with the red stripe as supplied with Longines Ultra Chron. The red stripe on strap looks gorgeous against the red accents on tachy scale and chronograph timing hands. Really lovely watch.
Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Good review, thanks! I like the new conquest a lot. I think Monta Noble has pros and cons for similar price - better bracelet and for me may be a better dial and hands design but the movement is not as good... On a side note, I think it will be better if you take the occasion and you say during your videos that 'we' who are working on 19mm straps is actually Hirsch 🙂

Beautiful watch. I would consider it if I had an uncomfortably large amount of money. For people like me who gravitate to this style of design but are less excited about the price, there's the Casio Edifice EFV-100D-1AVUEF at about 1/30 of the price of the Longines Conquest. The Casio's bracelet is underwhelming, but the watch itself is actually great at the price level. I wear it on a Marine Nationale strap. It's the cheapest watch in my collection and simultaneously one of my most worn. It ranks lower than the Longines Conquest on the refinement scale but is a very versatile everyday watch. A part of enjoying a watch is not having to worry about it.
Now hear me out: make the "conquest" text on the white dial variant red and you have yourself a very sporty option! Also would have still preferred something a bit smaller like 36 or 37mm, my wrist is just that anemic...
Great review..nice watch, except personally I think they have ruined it by not putting it on a 20mm bracelet. In my eyes there is too much of a gap horizontally between where the lugs end and the bracelet connects. The actual watch head is almost spot on, apart from the lugs being too long imho.. Call be fussy, but that’s my view..👍
Thought the same and also on pictures it looks like how you have described. I have tried and purchased it couple of weeks ago and in real it does not look as misproportioned as it looks on the pics.
