I have same laptop, it's been three years now, I am planning to change the paste and do a deep cleaning of the fans and heat sinks as I can feel a drastic reduction in the airflow coming out of the vents. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the guide...this is the best well put together video with no BS, love info about thermal pads. Also you could've applied a lil more thermal paste but since you got noctua thermal paste it should've worked fine. It would've been great displaying before and after temps but it's fine...I am upgrading my GF63 today so this video will come in handy for sure...thank you so much

I cleaned my laptop today everything went smoothly. Its been 2 years since i bought it and this was the first time i was cleaning it i hav opened the bottom panel b4 2 times once to install additional ram when i purchased it new and 2 was to just dust off the fans. This time i wanted to change the thermal paste and also clean off the fins. Same like video i had a carpet of dust around the cpu fins but not much around gpu fins. To my surprise the thermal paste was complete dried out it was so bad it took me 30 min to clean it it was hard like a concrete. After cleaning and assembling my temp dropped before i would need cooler booster and my cpu temp wuld go upto 92-94 and my gpu at 85-87 recently both my gpu and cpu had been thermal throttling now my temp after cleaning cpu temp goes to 90 and gpu 85 but this time without using coolerbooster and it maintains dat speed no thermal throttling.

Thanks for the video. The fan cleaning was on point since I also had that carpet blocking the air flow. Thanks about the pads info too, I bought the thickness you said and it fit perfectly. The temps of my pc using performance pads and paste dropped about 20ºC. Didn't felt hard to do the cleaning myself with your instructions sir.
