I have a similar MSI motherboard GS76 Stealth, which was the closest I could find. Unfortunately for me, the latches for the keyboard and the LED keyboard cables broke. As such I am unable to reinstall the cables which results in no keyboard (have to use an external keyboard and mouse.) Looks like I will have to purchase another motherboard (MS-17M1, at least that is what CPUID says it is.) but no luck finding one yet. Excellent video. Thanks.

You should try phase-change material Honeywell PTM7950. It comes in as a sheet, lasts longer, performs works better than traditional pastes and there is no pump-out effect. For the power section (vrm) and vrams, I advise you to apply thermal putty Upsiren UX Pro instead of thermopads. Does an amazing job, temperatures can drop by as 5-10°C on the vrams.
It is also a good idea to do undervolting.

Do you have online service? I have a MSI GS 75 Stealth that shuts off during any GPU usage. After 8 months of heavy graphics work. Would love to fix it. Thanks

Guys, could you please tell me what thickness of thermal pads are used in such a laptop. I need to replace it, but I don’t know the thickness.

    That was useful. Thanks.
There is any particulars reason you didn't apply a new thermal paste on those "chokes" (R22,R47) above the gpu.

If you ever get an answer to this lemme know. The only other model specific YT tutorial on here did the same frigging thing.

@@VidweII Look, I did apply it (originally those components had a thermal paste). It's been almost 6 months now and everything working properly. Maybe he just forgot to do that.

@@drwatson6268 On the power section (vrm) and vrams apply thermal putty, for example, Upsiren UX Pro. Ordinary paste will be bad to transfer heat from the component to the heatsink, because it will adhere poorly to the heatsink, and paste over 0,5 mm thick loses its thermally conductive properties, as well as the pump-out effect may occur. For the CPU and GPU core, I recommend PTM7950.
