Thank you so much Mr. Grigg for sharing your work! I am starting singing lessons and to take part in a chamber choir without hardly knowledge of music theory. This kind of tutorials are a great help to get starting! Warm greetings from a french lady living in spain. :=)
Thank you so much. This is so much more helpful than most things out there. Thanks to the soloist who sang this too. I will look up your other videos too and gladly share with my choral friends.
Thank you! This is helping me prepare for next week's "Messiah sing-along"! Also, thanks for having the tempo slower than on my Messiah CD...easier to learn the parts...Thanks again..
This is so outstanding! I just hit 70; and my voice has a lot of rust, but I have an opportunity to sing the Messiah with the group and had not sung the Alto part for 40 years, when I was in seminary. 37 years in the ministry put a lot of strain on my vocal cords over the years I have ordered the entire set that you created through Amazon. Thank you again for this outstanding help. I would love to find an excellent vocal warm up CD or something to strengthen especially that mid-range in one's voice. Some of them on RUclips are not good.
ALTO 0:09 And the Glory of the Lord 3:58 And He Shall Purify 7:25 O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion 10:05 For Unto Us a Child is Born 15:18 Glory to God
Thank you for all your wonderful feedback. We have had lots of requests to produce these for other choral works and welcome your ideas at andrew@musicdynamics.co.uk
Hi Michael, the whole version is available as a DVD Box Set or Download from choraline.com Not quite sure what you mean about 'hard to hear the Alto parts' as it a professional singer singing just the alto Messiah part as you see the words and notes change? best wishes, Andrew
Hi Andrew, I just purchased the Alto part for the Messiah that was described as 'Choraline with Singer', but wanted to purchase the version that included the actual notes and words visually to follow along. It looks like now that I should have ordered the 3 Steps to Sing. Is there anyway that I cancel that first order, or perhaps apply that to a new order for the '3 Steps to Sing' ? It was not very clear what was included in each of these versions on your website. The few parts that have been available here have been very helpful but I need more of the songs. Thanks very much. Barbara
I am very confused. I just followed your link to buy the alto version of the Messiah I was listening to online but I've bought one without the singer when what I wanted was the version I'd been listening to with the singer. What can I do as this isn't what I wanted? Can you help? Deborah.
After I watched on RUclips a demonstration of Choraline Tutorial for "Soprano Part for Handel's Messiah", I was led to order and download what I believed was the Soprano line, but I heard only an instrument playing that line, with no voice. What's that? I believe I was mislead. Please advise.
Hi Huberman, please return to the website and see the section called '3 Steps to Sing' which is the same as the Soprano Messiah part on You Tube. You have purchased the ChoraLine rehearsal line for Handel's Messiah which is to learn the pitch/notes for the Soprano part. I will refund back to your card the amount of the first purchase. Best wishes Andrew
Hat mir sehr geholfen, den Messiah in Ruhe einzustudieren. Danke, singe ihn immer wieder gern.
This is great - i am doing Handel's Messiah for the first time in about 40 years (I did it in high school) Thank you for developing this!
❤❤❤
Halleluiah! This is an incredible treasure! SO happy I found it! Thank you soooooooooooo much for making it available!
Wow thank you, without this step by step note learning, I would be lost.
