I love how he got the power to create shields. It's such a heroic quirk, and yet he's using it for villany. He could have chosen any quirk, but he picked a quirk that's supposed to be about protecting people and then used his intelligence to hurt people with it. It proves that everyones wrong about a quirk determining your path in life. Plus it feels like a nod to what he wanted to be and would have been if allowed: a hero. He would have BEEN a barrier and protected everyone around him, but everyone told him he wasn't good enough, that he was too weak to defend anyone, so instead of covering the people around him, he's lashing out at them, becoming a sword (swift, presise, actuate, and cutting) instead of a shield.

I love the Villain Deku AU the most because if he either went to go jump or if he didn’t go to all the noise when Bakugou got attacked he very easily could and would be evil. I also like the AU because it’s a reminder to never take something or someone fro granted. Also great animatic I love it

How do you use the air brush to gradient D: Oh and also, if you like Procreate, I also like Tayusai Sketches (and if you can't buy it, there's a free version). It's nicer for watercoloring cause I find Procreate's waterbrushes are either too light/transparent-y or too much of a set shape, and it's got like, shape stencils and pattern stencils and stuff, which is nice to have. Also if you ever decide to do animation on a PC, I've always personally found Adobe Illustrate a bit... weird. I personally prefer Sketchbook, its got this tool that helps with drawing curves, its got an editable circle/oval trace tool, meaning you could even just trace half of it. It's also got a lot of neater tools similiar to Procreate/Tayusai that Illustrate doesn't, like a spray can, crayon, paintbrush that can actually look like paint, etc.
I draw on an I pad pro which has great pressure sensitivity, so I just kinda... don’t press as hard when I need a gradient, and also shade with a slightly darker color. Also thanks for the suggestions! I’ll keep them in mind :D

Well, I'm pretty sure it depends on the artist's take on the villain au. Sometimes Izuku will have One For All (cannon quirk) or he'll have a completely different quirk given to him by All For One.

The glow brush is from the luminance set, and I didn’t use the smudge tool at all, I used air brush :)
