This was an amazing comeback show homecoming for the Foo Fighters. You could tell Dave Grohl was happy to be back! This Multicam version of my original was made possible by 2 other RUclipsrs and Chris did all the editing and mixing thanks Chris!
The performance was nothing short of amazing and the ending was the best when @Nandi Bushell took the stage for an unforgettable performance of Everlong. Nandi Bushell you rock! I went with my sons and some friends, an unforgettable memory for all of us.
I'd like to thank Dave for using some of my footage for his documentary What Drives Us, that was a cool moment in rock history for me. Also thanks for the guitar Dave and @Foo Fighters ! Thanks Carla for helping with that. It's super cool to see my name Scott Perry in the credits!

When you have a drummer like Nandi Bushell, who was inspired by the Beatles and the Foo Fighter's among many great other artist's, hope lives to see Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighter's take the stage again.

I would like to take this opportunity to express the ongoing and unprecedented enthusiasm with which I have watched the Foo Fighters since their formation in 1993. The phenomenally outstanding and indisputable success of their output over the last two decades has by now been brought home to all discerning music lovers around the world, the list of which currently comprises 23 studio albums, two live albums, five compilation albums, a very special limited edition coffee table book (Black Dog/White Noise - The Complete BBC Sessions - with personal memorabilia by Dave Grohl), a DVD, plus many, many other, equally extraordinary, highly collectable items. Of course, there is no one element of their expanding oeuvre which has gone unnoticed. The consistency of the artistic force with which this band approaches and pushes music to the outer limit of the possible is commendable in its own right. What, one may ask, separates the Foo Fighters from other brilliantly gifted bands of the 21st century. I believe the answer is contained in the words of a close personal friend of mine, a man I have long since regarded as an artistic and intellectual giant. He explained to me recently that "David Coverdale says there are no rules."

I actually mentioned that in another video. Not only a healing opportunity by inspiring other young musicians and attracting other generations to the Foo Fighter's. But she gets mentored by one of the living legends of drummers still alive Dave Grohl. Chad from the Red Hot Chili Peppers played with her and taught her new things. She's like a dry sponge, just soaking up everything shown to her.
Truely remarkable.
Of course she'll have a nanny appointed by the band on tour and schooling done on the road, that's a given. She'ld be in excellent care.
I honestly hope after they are able to deal with the loss, including Nandy, that they do pick her up as the Foo Fighter's drummer going forward. That to me is full circle. Would be beautiful. 😢

So good (though sad Rope was trimmed out, its one of my favs of theirs). Pretty sure no other rock band could get away with lowering a disco ball and covering Bee Gees, then having their drummer sing some Queen! He (Taylor) will be so sorely missed! (also Sam really killed that note, dont think I've ever seen her do that like that)

Yes it’s Shane he was with his dad all the time those guys traveled with their family but in Columbia they didn’t because of covid had his wife been there maybe help could have gotten to him faster chances are Taylor probably had some warning signs just didn’t realize what was about to happen it happens to people every day

They put on a show that makes us all feel like kids again. It is sad. I don’t know if Dave can sit still and let real rock n roll truly die. Taylor wasn’t some awesome drummer but he fit, he was perfect for the Foos and will be sorely missed. Just can’t see them throwing in the towel.

Only watched the first song, my favourite in the acoustic version. My question is why do the subtitles not correspond with what he is actually singing? I get that it is a good idea for who is deaf but the transcription is crap.

Immediately the first thing to notice is everybody holding up their stupid phones so they can "watch" and record the concert with a 6-inch screen-widget. Here's an idea - put your f'king phone away and enjoy the concert as humans without phone-addiction. If you think you're capturing something of personal value you're just f'king wrong. Absorb and enjoy the show with your eyes ears brain, and if you want to re-live the experience it'll probably be available somewhere like RUclips. So-called "smart phones" have totally dumbed down the human race. Thanks Steve Jobs, but you basically turned a few billion people into toxic phone-zombies. Anyway I've said my piece/peace. Now back to crying about Taylor Hawkins. RIP Bro, we love you!

It's amazing if you were there but were you really there taking it all in or were you too busy on your damn cell phone filming and taking pics.
Put the f'n cell away, listen, dance, sing/scream, play air guitar/drums, experience what's going on and make memories that no cell phone can capture!
There's tons of footage to watch after and you can say, damn I jammed so hard to every song, it was the best!
This wasn't Taylor's last show. They were touring in South America when he died. His last show was March 20 in Argentina.

I love the band, but I don't know what they were smoking when they decided on this setlist, lol.
I love an energetic and powerful way to open a rock show. This is not that, at all. With a slow version of song that is already very slow.
Shortly into the proceedings, they play a trio of their worst songs (imho) - "No son of mine", The sky is a neighborhood" and the horrific "Shame Shame".
Later, they waste at least half an hour with covers, including the longest version in history of "Somebody to Love". I love Queen and Bee Gees as much as the next guy, but why spend sooo much time goofing around with these covers and jams, when they have so many great original songs of their own.
Then after finally getting the energy back up with "All My Life", they suck it out again with "Aurora".
At least they end the show with three of their best songs, including a cameo by the incredible Nandi Bushell. Awesome version of "Everlong" and Nandi is a treasure.
Great job to all involved in recording this and sharing it on RUclips.
ugh the voice of the song isn't there on those high notes. For me, if you're making a statement, do it big or go home without the cliche. I would have totally expected an immersive attitude from a band like the foo's. Party-time spills into real numbers (but I'd forgive it if you will........) Everybody loves a certain promiscuity in their life when you're rolling 100 mil like these guys was.
I'm just a lowly guy from Manchester, but I've seen Mike Skinner do better. Hold it down boy.... we all have dreams
