The biggest what if I want to see is what if Sora and Roxas merged their Hearts and truly became one being/heart/mind/body/soul like nobodies and hearts were supposed too with Two Become One being the beings true Keyblade. And this is an interesting what if since Roxas could've been either Sora or Ventus' nobodies when all's considered

This deserves more love, its a great first part
I'm guessing gameplay wise you would either switch between them in each world or choose one at the beginning or each world would have one of them playable
They already did in Kingdom Hearts II, 358/2 Days, Chain of Memories

What a well thought out video.
I would want to see what if sora and riku were still the 2 the story follows....BUT....Sora and Riku werent friends. Sora and Riku would be more like Naruto and Sasuke, and Sora and Riku also have a special place in their heart for Kairi. Kairi cant make them be friends but if they happen to be around each other with her theyll try to behave.
All the events begin, except instead of it being the original sora was chosen which we know isnt fully true in the way it first seems, Sora AND Riku manifest Keyblades at the same time, and are trying to figure out what the hell is going on with Riku naturally having more answers, siding with darkness, partially because Sora chooses Light, and partially because he gets more answers from them since theyre orchestrating everything, while leaving him in the dark about the end goal. Sora isnt looking for Riku, and Riku isnt looking for Sora. Theyre both JUST looking for Kairi. When they cross paths, theres no Kairi to make Sora and Riku get along, and they fight, both having keyblades. The story could go wherever from here.
Dunno if you're still interested in making KH What-Ifs, but I think it'd be cool to see "What If Vanitas Was Good?" (Since it's said he was initially a lot like Ventus.)

Wouldn’t Eraqus still be alive due to him not being able to attempt to kill Ven?
Maybe, but there is the possibility that Xehanort finished him off at the Land of departure before Ventus WAS supposed to arrive back (in canon now stoped by Even in the divergent timeline), that or in this universe he deem himself after unworthy of welding the keyblade anymore and went into retirement for probably more stupid reasons than Yen Sid.(I could come up with more reasons but I wouldn’t for the sake of this not being super long.)

I know I'm a year late, but without Ven prompting Eraqus to try and murder him, Terra doesn't kill the master. Would Xehanort or Vanitas do so instead?
I’m guessing that it would be most likely Xehanort due to him trying to murder Eraqus mere minutes(or it could have been hours idk) before Ventus and Terra in canon arrive to the Land of Departure, and with no Terra or Ven there to make him wait to finish to job he would had finished the job, that or keep Eraqus alive but injured to suffer in agony of his failure, and having the knowledge(or a least slightly) that the apprentices will be in what is practically Tartarus(Aqua literally with being in the realm of darkness, Terra in one where he will have to witnesses every evil action that Xehanort makes his body do, and Ventus who will will not be know to Eraqus will endure the inhumane experiments of Even and maybe Xehanort later in the lab under Radiant Garden ), except submersed in Darkness for who knows how long. And who knows if Eraqus would even be found fatally injured by maybe Yen Sid or Mickey, he could just die of infection before he is rescued by either one.
