The driver installer mentions the SigmaTel 3400, which looks to be the all-in-one chip that is the brains of this operation-it handles playback, recording, and the USB interface. It came out in 2001 and was intended to cut the BOM + assembly cost of the audio pipeline part of a portable media player by ⅓-½. I should comment on this rare piece of... I was going to say tech but it looks like a piece of something... but more importantly oh my god that preview for the next video with the new Craig, my first MP3 player ever was legitimately one of those ones, it's pretty average but I do have to warn you... the body is made out of that rubber every piece of tech in the 2000s loved to use on everything and I have to warn you it WILL be sticky at this point in time...
Damn it you ruined Frank's magic show. That was some Houdini level of performance.
Hey man I had a medical emergency and have had two abdominal surgeries and been in the hospital for 12 days. Thankfully I’m home now. And I have a lot of free time now. Let’s just say ur videos are hilarious. I’ve been with you since you were around 200k. I want nothing more than you to see this and know that I absolutely love your content. I’m subbed to both channels and plan to support you on Paterson once I get some cash. I love you man. Keep up the good work.
Dank never fails to my day so much better
You are a wonderful human dank, keep it up
Also tell Frank she is a fat idiot for me
I fully expected Mr dank to tear up all the information on this nugget when he pointed out he now owns all the info left about it
5:42 no it’s not it’s a Thursday
Is anyone maintaining a dank nugget wiki? I don't mean a wiki for you (the guy!) and this channel. I've seen those. I mean a wiki with an entry for each nugget you feature, along with pages on other MP3 nuggets you may not have discussed yet. It would be a wonderful way to concisely review Dankpods history, and a valuable resource for future generations. No, I am not volunteering.
Love your videos. Absolutely makes my day when you release a video thank you bud.
I've been watching you since the video recorded on the ipod mini, your quality is still amazing and your videos always make me laugh. Keep it up!
This channel is slowly becoming more and more Aussie Ashens and I dont think the world is ready for that yet
The funny part is that was a temporary hiring service where I lived
love the mental image of opening an old box and a tiny sun in there just burns your eyes off
That alternating volume bit at 1:17 was simply amazing 😂
1: Mp3 player
2: recorder
3: watch
4: calendar?
5: ????
6. Profit
The only thing google could pull up about the product was this very video. You sir, are a pioneer!
MANPOWER ® sounds like something the hero would say when building something “We need manpower!”
Just found this channel and it's just like Ashens old clips testing out crap and just hating on it.. and I love it!!
Let's just appreciate the attention to detail in the title. He even used a tiny 3!
That's actually the best looking package I've seen. It has 50's vibes, when everything was built very robust and nice looking.
this reminds me of the things my grandparents had. a lot of the nugget devices they have (tvs, dvd players, vcrs, toys, etc.) have just about no info online about them.
