Nice one! I guess the hands free adapter would be nice if your hands were dirty or if wearing gloves but I'm guessing it's not waterproof anymore. I do like the quick connect for connecting the light to the headband. That would come in handy because they're usually a pain to remove.
No reverse polarity protection on these, so don't use unprotected cells or you could have a fire on your hands, if installed reverse. Reddit post of the unit smoking. These should be recalled.
Hello my friend! Another great review. I'm really thinking strongly about picking this up..only 23.99 for the light itself on amazon. I only own a few wuben lights. They seem to be really great quality.
I have a flashlight of Boruit with a gesture sensor. Of course, this is an outdated model with a plastic case and a built -in battery. But this flashlight has several magnificent features, it can zoom the beam of light, has an indication of the battery charge and the gesture recognition mode, which can be arbitrarily turned on and off with a button, it has mechanical brightness adjustment, combined with the power switch. The use of a separate gesture sensor seems to me an erroneous solution. Everything should be in a single case, since extra wires on the head will interfere and it is likely to damage the connector. Wuben is a manufacturer of high -quality flashlights. They can create a model really convenient for the user.
No laser attack today then... Two questions, does the sensor work ok with gloves on? (Turning on a head torch with hiviz gloves on can be blinding) And can the magnet in the tailcap be removed? (I like my compass to point north...)
I wonder if you could, while travelling, stick the light (via magnet) to your hotel door and place the sensor so the light turns on strobe mode if someone opens the door.
Anyone know the run time on the strobe and flash mode for this light. Why doesn't Wuben list the run times for those modes, seems strange to me. Plan on clipping the light to my weighted vest for hikes with my pups. I bought two Olight Oclip lights and the battery life SUCKS on strobe mode with that light, don't recommend it for that application.

Is there power stabilization in the 400lm mode?
I only tested Turbo runtime. A lot of people are calling for a recall on this light anyway, due to no reverse polarity protection.

It works with my gloves, not sure about hiviz. I couldn't get to a magnet.
