Great video presentation as always but $1000??? Not even the MS18 which is 100,000 lumens isn’t that expensive. You would think that if Wuben wants to be popular like Acebeam, Manker, Lumintop etc that they would sell it at around $500-$600. I’d buy it if it was around $500 ( put it on a Klarna payment plan). Glad to see at least that the K75 can still hold its own against it and it’s less than $400 now. Love my K75.
I agree about the price. Wuben do make some nice quality flashlights though . They have been around for some time. $1k is out of my price range for now.
@@GoldenDuck0 Wurrkos TS30S was priced at $60 with a battery on sale for a long time and it was equipped with an SBT90.2. Even the new TS30S Pro is priced at $80 not on sale. There's no way this Wuben should be over $500. At Wurkkos prices it would be closer to $400.
I think that wuben don't want to sell to many A1 lights. They just need such powerful light for marketing and maybe if some search and rescue organisation (some government) is able and willing to pay that price, that's it.
Great review. It's too bad it doesn't come with a bike or helmet mount. Sometimes at night I don't feel the cars can see me that well. At least this light will give me a better chance of being seen hopefully.
I love my Wubens. The build quality is up there with the Fenix brand. Solid and reliable as can be. My only problem with this beauty is the price, and that's the same as other high end units. With the cost of living skyrocketing, I'll patiently wait for a potential price drop. Another awesome review.
First time I measured it I got 2,055,700cd (2867m) but I tried about 6 times after to get it again but it was 1.8m to 1.9 every time. Sometimes you get donuts holes or sharper bits in the beam and get false readings.
Awesome flashlight. Congrats for the video. I have a yacht. I use to navegate some times with family at night. For sure we are going much more secure buying this thing inmediately
Thanks for the detailed review! This is a workhorse searchlight, through and through. I have been going back and forth on whether I would rather spend the same money for an Acebeam K75 + X75, or if I would rather have the marriage of the two in the single Wuben A1... Decisions, decisions...
Not sure where my comment went.. youtube crashed. As a ms18 owner and a BLF GT4 owner, the floodier light is significantly more fun per dollar.. throwy lights are fun at distance.. plus the x75 is honestly the best of both worlds unless you step into lep. Plus the ms18 and x75 is on Amazon so 2 day shipping lol
Very interesting flashlight 😃. I don't know if such a high price of this light is reasonable. I really like that at 13:00 the beam of light is shown from a different perspective. I would like more such tests of flashlights when someone is standing very far away from the person who is shining. A new product from Imalent (SR32) is to be released soon. The power of this flashlight will be 120,000 lumens!
Great review and I fell in love with it. But I just can't afford that. I need something in the 200$ (USD) range. My wife and I sail ⛵️ and we need a good spotlight/flashlight for when we come into port. And one that has a long battery life. When I saw the price my heart was broken 💔
Well, let's be honest. A1 is better thrower but you can buy two LR80r for the price of this Wuben. You can actually buy fenix LR80r, acebeam x75 and still have money for a great edc or tactical light... or buy A1. You can choose between fenix and acebeam, buy just one of them and you will have 550$ or 600$ for ather lights and lanterns or you can buy A1😅😅😅. Lr80r ist great light with usable range up to 1km and really efing solid 800m. The beam profile is more uniform and for real world use is actually better than a1. Sure, if you are interested in the farthest throw A1 wins and has faster charging, not by much though. A1 is not worth the price, in my humble ( not so humble opinion) ofcourse 😅😅.
I just can’t take Wuben serious anymore after what their website shows for this light…. The claims are flat absurd and ridiculous.. I don’t have 1 light though and it is very nice.. but I won’t be buying many if at all more lights From them lol. My question is since when is this the worlds brightest flashlight.. 😆😆😆
Their claims aren't exaggerations. The only handheld lights that can out-throw it are dedicated single-emitter oversized-mirror SBT90.2s like the Astrolux MF05 or the Acebeam K75. LEPs like the Weltool W4 Pro or Acebeam W50 will outthrow it over 3 kilometers, but cannot compare to its sheer lumens output. Lights like the Imalent MS18 or Acebeam X75 have massively more lumens, but cannot throw that output beyond a kilometer as they're flooders... You have to step up to a Maxa Beam to be able to make this light look pedestrian, and even then, you're not getting the utility provided by its sheer spill... As of this date, this is the best, brightest handheld searchlight you can buy under $1,000 that you don't need a professional licensed occupation or military contract to obtain. Just as important, the runtimes and lumens output advertised are spot on.... There are plenty of bogus claims from other lights you can find on Amazon and elsewhere. This is not one of them.
@@FalconFXICCY The acebeam k75 is not a flooder. It’s has a single sbt90 that puts out about 6500 lumens but does provide plenty of spill. Maybe you meant the acebeam x70? In any case I feel the need to defend the K75 versus this A1. Granted I do not own the A1 but do own the K75. Does it have a big reflector? yes. (but so does the A1 ) Does it weigh a lot with batteries? Absolutely not but I bet the A1 weighs a lot more. Overall both of them are big flashlights anyway you cut it but the A1 still a lot bigger. Was there really a huge difference between performance of the 2 in this video? Not really. Besides, it just doesn’t seem right to charge that much for a light, especially from a manufacturer that I don’t think has been in the flashlight making business that long.

I love my K75. I just wish SBT90.2 didn't get so hot.
Hello Sir, greetings from Istanbul I want to get information about K 75
A lot of strange light artifacts at close range, why? Lens or reflector?
Split smooth lens, inevitable, only way to smooth it would be to use an orange peel reflector but then you'd loose a lot of range.
$1000. I don't think so.
why doesn't it have a pocket clip?
I agree. It should have pocket clip with possibility to carry it lens up snd lens down. Stupid engineering 😅
