- MY WIFE BROUGHT ME THE DJI OSMO ACTION 3. THIS IS MY FIRST RIDE WITH IT. ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES THE THE TRUSTY GO-PRO 3 and 4 AND HAVE LOVED THEM I HAVE MOVED TO THE DJI BRAND AS THEY ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR RELIABLITY, QUALITY FOOTAGE AND RUGGED BUILD.

Am I officially an influencer now 😉. Thanks for the mention. Your picture quality and stability look just great. We love the Action 3, which performed great on our Tenerife trip. No freeze ups or issues. Only problem we've had is using the camera indoors filming in 4K60fps where we've had an overheat shutdown when running continuously for long periods.

The footage looks good. I'm really in the market for that one. I've got 2 of the original Osmo Action and it's getting time to replace them. Even though they work just fine still. No issues with either the quality of the camera or the images they produce.

I have the Osmo Action and I am very satisfied with it. Never had a problem. Filmed some 180 videos with it and still performs very nicely. I am happy that you have the 3 model now. Hopefully you will do an update video of how it will perform in the future.
p.s. I know Banditmanuk and I am following him. Great guy.

I should of gone for a DJI cam man as you know. With luck my GoPro will get fixed as it produces good video quality. Awesome views off the cam in this one and I pick just wide view on my cams as well. If it works for a few years then you have made the right decision.

Hope you and your wife both had a good Christmas and she was equally well spoiled 😊. The picture quality is looking great, are you using it for audio as well, if so that's working good as well. Richard and Carol of Banditman UK are a great couple and like you say make excellent videos. They struggled to get decent sound with external mics on the Action 3 so I think he still pulls his sound from the 360. All the best for 2023 🎉🎇🎆

Like yourself, I have the original Osmo action and I wouldn't trade for the GoPro. I also have an Akaso 7 which is pretty comparable with the Osmo Action and both are 4K-30. Great video amigo !! Cheers, Eddie

Ahaaaaaaaaa......Nice timing. I've been looking at these, instead of the GoPro 11. Not just because of the price difference, mainly because of the GoPro problems. My Hero 7 Black is getting on a bit now.
As you say, DJI make good quality items and hopefully this will be quality too.

I miss the sound of my GSX-S1000FZ, anyhoo, great choice on camera, I have the Osmo Action one and has never let me down, can't say that for my GoPro 7 black and then the 10 that I returned sharpish, won't see me near a GoPro ever again....too unreliable, still enjoying my Tiger 900 Rally Pro, hope all is well and a good video too 👍

Great footage in this video Mr TPR, I also have a OA3 and I love it. I'm yet to do a motovlog with it as the weather here in the UK is erm, seasonal shall we say ? The mounting system on the OA3 is fantastic. I have a September build and also suffered from the slight focus problem but with the latest update it seems good now. I have tried it in HDR mode which seems to be good although I'm not sure if the file sizes are going to be ridiculously big. I much prefer it over my Gopro 9 that has been temperamental on several occasions. Your audio sounds great too, have you turned the db gain down in the settings ?

The footage is from an external mic recorder, an old Sony recorder used recording lecturers. This sits in my pocket. Work swell, just a bit of work when editing. I haven't tried recording audio with the camera as yet. 😎 I hope you enjoy yours Mate and I hope that you had a great Christmas.
The footage looks great but I think the biggest point to take away from this video is the fact your wife listens to you and intuitively got you a present that you really wanted. OR was so sick of you Droning on about these cameras that she bought you that just to shut you up! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I do hope you reiterated and listened to her by getting her a new Gopro already attached to the handlebars of a new Suzuki motorbike! As long as you did not get her a new washing up brush, they don't appreciate that. Don't ask me how I know! 😉😂😂 A safe and happy new year to you and yours.

What a great Xmas gift! May I ask of your audio is a stand alone or do you have a lavalier mic attached to your helmet. I got one as well and I'm unable to connect my Rode mics or an external mic. I love the quality and reliability of the DJI. Hope you and your family had a good Xams and Happy New Year. Eric
Hi Eric, I use an external voice recorder ( an old Sony lecture recorder) that is in my pocket, I have a lavalier mic in the helmet connected to the recorder. I would like to eventually use a wireless Mic as it is easier . I have been searching the web to try and find a reasonably priced option. @MRTPR yes I have a x400 and I think it's a x350. Both outstanding quality. I also have a gopro 360 max but the x400 does the same.

Who's a lucky boy then? The video looks really crisp on my monitor Tim. Does 4K take long to down load and process on your computer because I tried it and on the GP and couldn't be bothered it took so long. Anyway you post looks super crisp..
Yes it certainly does take longer. It is not too bad as I purchased a computer with plenty of grunt about 5 years ago . Having said that it does push it at times. If I was putting up videos two to three times a week I would reduce the frame rate but still keep it at 4 k. I hope you have a great new year Noel. 😎

Hello mate, because of the shape of my helmet I fashioned my own. I used a standard go pro mount and attached it with a product called knead it by Sellys. Sets like a rock. Has worked for years, although I did have to redo after 5 years as it did loosen a touch. Hope this helps. Cheers 😎
