- Looking for a better alternative to cPanel! While there are free options, I prefer to use sPanel. It's cheaper and offers A LOT more functionality.

cPanel is planning to do yet another price increase. And their service hasn't really evolved in the past 10 years. You get the same old stuff, for a higher price each year.

The support staff didn't meet my expectations. It takes them a considerable amount of time to provide me with a demo download and trial license.
@@bragiaustfjord I didn't maybe it took a while to show up. Care sharing how long it took to get a demo? Since I just went for a full licence, didn't bother with the demo.
@@Emit.Reviews My computer has been incredibly frustrating. It took me five and a half hours to get sPanel support to the stage where they could begin the installation on my server. I'm still waiting for them to start.
i want to buy it now but i don't really understand the differance between managed panel and unmanaged.
With the managed panel, they'll help you take care of your server ir you need configuration, operating system change, optimizations, etc. With unmanaged, they only help you install the product, not take care of the server
will spanel work well for a web hosting business ?
Yeah, its a great alternative to cPanel or DirectAdmin. And of course comes with the bonus that you dont need to hire support agents, which is a huge money saver
Does it have webmail in it like horde and all?
Yeah, they have a webmail solution, it's not Horde tho. I think its also custom-made for sPanel, but it works great and looks better.
Lol literally the same price as plesk
