Day 13 - Grooming services provided by Oxpeckers on tick-infested animals

- This is my video from Kruger National Park in South Africa. Today's daily update video shows the grooming service provided by the oxpeckers for all the antelope and giraffes in the national park. It is exciting and informative and showcases these birds' important role in maintaining other animals' health. In many of the videos I captured in the park, the oxpeckers can often be a nuisance to the animals, but they know the benefit, as they would not be able to remove the ticks themselves. It shows these birds on different animals, such as impalas, a giraffe, a kudu bull and a zebra.

I love how how the antelope is just like.. 😑
Haha
1:22 that elegant looking antelope had on a stylish pair of dangling oxpecker earrings lol
That looks so relaxing. Man, if I was an animal I'd go to the Oxpecker Wash every day.
You and me both!
Good name for a car wash….
The one bird at 3:24 is a practicing proctologist. Business hours between 7am and 2pm.
😂😂😂😂😂
"A little more to the left."
Very good Services.😁

That's got to tickle!😂
Agree!
That one bird was half way up that antelope's ear!
Antelope to Oxpecker:"Yea...right there"
Antelopes chew gum😮😂
😂😂
No, they keep some excess food in their rumen, it's like the first chamber of their stomach. They regurgitate some of that food to their mouth to chew on later.
Its like a car wash except for animals
Yes, you are right😅
Yaratıcı her şeyi eksiksiz bir uyum içinde yaratmış.
Gazelle: *exists*
Lion: "Yummy"
Oxpecker: "It's free real state."

These birds are doing God’s work. Imagine how annoying these ticks must be, and you can’t reach them because you don’t have hands!
Beauty work for free.
Birds are great cleaners. Mutually beneficial
Certainly!
Mutually beneficial relationship 😌
Symbiosis. They both provide a service for the other. The birds get free food, while the antelope gets cleaned of those damn ticks. Nature rocks.
Agree, love it!
Nature is wonderful ❤
Get in there nice and deep-like

Ticks and fleas are evil. At least the animals have these birds to help.
Just a visit to the vet.
What's he eating chewing gum?
As I watch this video I am wondering how many ticks are getting on the humans watching this spectacle. Ticks carry many diseases. Very scary.
I presume they carry anti tick spray around
