I know she always talked about oats spike in blood sugar I have the patch I’m going to use it again, but I found oats from one source that are free from all pesticides, including Roundup and on the bag you can scan it and find out where those oats came from what farm? It’s an incredible new product line that’s coming out that’s really kicking butt.

There are not short cuts or hacks, longevity is a marathon built on three daily disciplines - 1. clean whole food diet, 2. healthy caloric restriction, 3. daily exercise regimen. This will ensure your insulin and ASP are balanced, and you will look and feel amazing.
They both seem to agree that the main thing to watch out for is to maintain glucose levels/to combat insulin resistance. Their message is a little overwhelming for most people including me but mainly it’s about two things. 1. Be careful about what you eat. Anything that spikes your insulin should be avoided if possible. 2. Do some exercise. As for the rest of what they have to say well it’s important but probably not realistic for most people and could be summarised by saying certain vegetables, spices and pickles are (probably) very good for you.
Getting up early, getting outdoors in the morning, growing vegetables, varying activity often, pushing through discomfort, making healthful meals from scratch (for the benefit of others, as well), this is the life of the responsible homemaker. The cold has been shown to lower your immune system through nose and throat, I’ve been sick and worry about walking my dog in the winter now. Also, does she do a lift session or just a minute every half hour? Can you build muscle that way?

There’s a difference between being anxious and clinically paranoid and being diligent. I care for two parents who never worried about their health & thought they’d be healthy forever. My mother has Alzheimer’s now and my father destroyed the family finances bc of all his emergencies after 70. I wish they actually followed this advice. Instead they relied on luck and wishful thinking and ruined all our lives. I love my kids. I follow this advice so I don’t burden then when I am old.
Stay away from sugar and don’t over eat carbs, exercise by yoga, walking and knee bends while watching TV get up during commercials. Do it with your kids.

One hack I do for going to the bathroom is by not using the bathroom downstairs and having to climb the stairs to go.
