Video suggestion: Make a series about how to frag specific corals like a short video every friday. You can make a video of every coral type that you can frag. You can even make some videos of corals that might be fragable like scolly's or wall hammers. Call the series "Frag Friday". Happy birthday Tia🎉
Video suggestion: Running canister filters on coral tanks for the newbie. A great way for a new reef keeper to get up and running quickly while keeping the tank looking amazing.
I’ve got a 5 gallon with Kessil A80 light I’m getting ready to setup with zoas top to bottom, with a canister. I don’t plan on fish. Very little waste = low nitrate introduction. If I change 50% weekly I’ll be good. I did it before FWIW.
@fragboxcorals I think cannibalholiday is on to something, 6 months ago i search and searched for information on this, there is so little out there, my 75 Gal canister aquarium just crashed and I lost 50% of all my corals 😢
@@wayner_off_the_hook Ouch. That must have hurt :( When I was first starting out I had a heater get stuck on (before I bought an inkbird) and it killed half my corals overnight.
I just wanted to take the time to thank you for everything you do. I’ve been in the hobby for about six months and in that time, this channel and brstv have been the primary sources of content I’ve been consuming. Watching your enthusiasm and learning from you has been nothing short of an honor and a pleasure. I’m in the middle of designing a 3 tank, 450 gallon frag system for my home. Some day I hope to be able to have a system worthy of having you visit. Anyway, I’m rambling. Thank you again for everything you do
A great idea would be a video on what early signs to look for of things before they go wrong. We hear a lot of places about everything you need to do that’s right, but not necessarily what to look for in case for any number of reasons you miss the mark and some things are not so happy. Bleaching, poor polyp extension, loses of flesh, indications of pest issues, and a number of things may happen and guiding newer reefers through these issues could really benefit the community.
No need for suggestions; you're doing great! I always look forward to your informative videos, but I have to say, I love it when you improvise. It adds a touch of excitement and keeps things interesting.
Hey video I would love to see is an in-depth tour of all of your Neptune systems lighting schedules how you plumbed all the tanks I just think you’d be cool to see how you set all that up. Also, you guys are one of my big inspirations to keep going in this hobby.
I would love to see a build series of a frag box dream build aquarium. Perhaps a stand alone system highlighting your favorite equipment from sump to lighting and everything in between. A dream box if you will.
I would love to see a series on starting a new nano/smaller tank. These kind of videos got me in the hobby. I really think you could reach a lot of people who are on the fence on jumping into the hobby. You could go over the process of getting a tank what equment you need/want, what to spend money on and what to save money on. Keep up the great work!
Videos on water chemistry made easy. Parameters, effect of alkalinity on pH Mg Ca CO2. Chemistry made verrrrry easy to understand and to correct would be ace. Loving the RUclips videos, John
Video suggestion 😊 I’m a new reefer (8 months in, and addicted!) how about a video showing how to combat different types of algae issues, GHA, bubble, dinos. I know there’s a lot of video but information is usually conflicting! All your tanks look beautiful and so well looked after - I’d love to see your tips and tricks for beating all the pesky algae issues we all inevitably face! 🥲 I’d also love a start to finish series on setting up your new reef casa tanks and all the things you can do with them, aquascaping as the shapes are so fun and quirky! I have my eyes set on a reef casa tank already and visited advanced aquarium consultancy over the weekend to look at them in person! but my partner says we can’t afford a second tank 😂 was worth a try!
Video suggestion: I’d like to see an extended band saw fragging session - maybe different techniques including using bone cutters and dremel - if you do that sort of thing. I personally love the longer format and I think it’s interesting to hear your rambles as it helps give us background on you, your store and so on. I’m in the Uk and visit Paul and Co at AAC occasionally and I have seen the Reef Casa in store. I hope the giveaway is including the UK but if not just redraw. Love your videos March keep it up! 😊
My video suggestion would be: showing people that starting in the reefing seen isn’t as scary at it seems start a brand new tank with easy corals cheap equipment and just show how much enjoyment it can actually be waking up to every morning and learning new things every day! Love your videos think you are doing amazingly we love you in AUS❤️
I just started my tank and your videos have been very helpful. As a beginner the more expensive corals scare me to purchase. A video covering some techniques and upgrades a beginner can make to become a better reef keeper and successfully keep more expensive corals would be amazing.
March your videos like this are my favorite. they are very informative and keep my attention. I gots the adhd and fragbox has my most hours watched on youtube for sure. If i were to want to see any video series i would do a subscriber series where people can show off their tanks to the frag box fam. also maybe a rescue video series where you go to local subscribers homes and give them advice and before and after vids. Or bring a sub to work day LMAO thanks as always march.
I think a video about the history of fragbox, the ups and downs, lessons learned, suprises etc. Just a really good rundown on the history. Fragbox has been truly amazing in my experience. They've helped me as I've rebuilt my tank from a major crash and I couldn't be happier with the customer service, the products and the people! Thanks a lot!
Love the new style frag cube. You get great stuff, your upfront pricing and channel are so on the money. 90% of my 180g is your stuff. Very transparent business.
I really enjoy these longer videos. I get out the testing equipment and test away while you talk away. More of these! I’m in need of a Qt! That reef casa would be sick! Good luck all!
I would like a video of just side tracks. I like how you start talking about one thing, then that leads to something else and then back on track. As a newbie, I very much appreciate all the information you share. :) Also, I agree your customer service sets you apart! Amazing, amazing customer service!
You could do a series like selecting appropriate equipment, water parameters, lighting, and providing proper nutrition for the corals. Demonstrating techniques for fragging and propagation based off certain budget levels
Don't really have any big video ideas, tank tours and general info videos about the hobby is everywhere on youtube. I really enjoy videos like these mass unboxing, store vlogs, and your overseas trips. I feel like it's what makes fragbox unique and the main reason why I keep coming back. My only suggestion is to keep doing what you're doing right now.
Oh by the way you were asking for ideas on how to place your acro colonies in your new display. It looked like they are semi standard size bases. You could cast some cups (you would have to learn how from your departed Alejandro or get one of your staff to learn). The cups would have to be permanent fixtures but at least you could move the acros around and you could label them with numbers for pricing on a board say? I can’t think how else you could do it apart from the same idea but for frag logs once fragged and mounted. Good luck! 🍀
Suggestion for the Fragoon mounting. You could glue big frag plugs on the bottom of the bigger colonies and either drill some wholes in the rocks or make a mount/support foot out of epoxy that can stay glued to the rock. Scatter 50,60 of these mounting/support feet around the tank or drill wholes. If you just use frag plugs of the same size for all the colonies you can swap them in and around the tank and they can stay flush despite flow and inverts.
Video sudgestion: the first year of a reef tank, what problems you may encounter and how to deal with them. Not to panic and make too many drastic changes. How to tell if a coral is dying and to toss it before it fouls your tank. Dealing with the ugly stage, bacteria blooms, pests and how to deal with them.
I have been wanting a new tank for a while. It would be a great tank to come back after 8 years out the hobby. When I lost everything thanks to the landlord where I used to live
These are always great man! Would love to get that tank as I’m getting really close to the salt side of this hobby! Happy to see the Fragoon moving ahead and the Indonesia trip vid was awesome. my video idea is tutorials on how to do tank husbandry… I’m a very anal guy with my fresh water tank already and know when I make the change, I’m going to be going hard. I need to know how the pros do it and you’ve got some huge, mid and small tanks to show me with. Thank you, ironically from Clearwate, FL 😂
video suggestions: March and Tia responding to most frequent viewer/visitor questions. March and Tia recounting their favorite customer interactions. (I was going to suggest a video on your startup story, but you went ahead and told us in this vlog!)
If you ever want to raffle off one of the Reef Casa tanks to help fund the student tank program, I've been looking into Raffall and have purchased some tickets on there. You can set ticket prices, run length, and whether you want to limit the total number of tickets or not.
I’d love a video series expanding on the BRS biome series specifically focusing on nano tanks maybe with the Reef Casa line. Somewhat of an experimental series for the best way to cycle and start a nano tank!
video suggestions: a series on how to properly move your aquarium from one location to another and all the equipment and supplies need to be successful. I see alot of people stressing over a move including myself when the time comes! Happy Reefing
March, this was a great video. I personally love the hobby but love your vlog style. I can watch these types of videos all day. You say that you were lucky, I think you underestimate your value when you say that. Keep up the great work!!
A video that I would love to see and one that I think would benefit everyone would be to hear you guys go over different filtration options, and give us your input on filtration and go a little into depth on water parameters as well, I myself am a newer reefer so I haven't been able to explore many different types of filtration and I am still a little hazy on water parameters and how to control them to the best of my abilities
Hi from West Virginia. I think a series of troubleshooting videos/ questions that customers typically have. Record them asking the question and what your suggestions are. Also, really like fragging videos... behind the scenes of the frag tanks
I am happy with your appreciation regarding Indonesian coral reefs and i am indonesian people I can only enjoy your video because making a seawater aquarium is very expensive compared to a freshwater aquarium
I am digging the longer format video. I also like the name you chose for the new low boy. “Fragoon”. I wonder if you could get some flags printed with bases to label the fragoon tank. Maybe with a suction cup on bottom to be covered by the sand bed. Lastly I would love to learn more about opening a shop from the ground up. Keep up the good work.
Since Reef Casa is nano style aquariums, I think a more specific third party build including setup in rear chamber, products to add for best results, ie UV, media basket and media, ATO, lights, monitor systems etc. There is no video professionally done on what to expect. I have invested around 4k so far on my vila 24 and love it. Your videos lead me to your store and product. I have learned a ton from talking to you and your staff. A video tutorial from start to finish would be A-MAS-ING!!!
Video suggestion: i really enjoy this style format a little bit longer and you just rambling to the camera. I think that learning more about how you run the the store and what it takes to run a store is interesting ( to me atleast lol) the wife and i have recently started our saltwater venture about 7 months ago and just recently got our first corals and I've really enjoyed your channel. I have definitely fallen down a rabbit hole with watching your old videos on how to frag all different types of coral and different coral care tips and all the evo videos as our first saltwater tank (technically her tank) is the 13.5 EVO and i recently mentioned the other day i wanted my own nano 😅
Video suggestion: a video about setting up your lights for ideal par for certain corals (lps, sps, softies) as well as flow ideaology (placememt, power, and flow for mixed reefs). You have an amazing store and top tier videos. Wish i could visit you guys and buy some coral but im in the states.
I watch all of your vids as they come and I'm picking away at all of you older stuff. I think a video series would be awesome! I would love to see a video about everything zoas from the basic care to fragging to troubleshooting and diseases. Then hammers and so on. That can keep the videos coming for a while.
Day in the life of March! Opening the store, throughout the day, and closing! Alt idea, setting up a new reef casa 12 yourself so maybe people who will get one/ win that one can follow along with yours
Video Suggestion: Talking about how to stage your coral in the tank. Just some spread more than others in a tank and you can give pointers on what’s the best way to go about it. New to the channel but also getting all my info before starting my first saltwater tank. Keep up the awesome videos and being honest about everything 👍
Id love to see a video on into reef keeping. Equipment to use and what’s mandatory for a starting tank vs what can be added later. As well as lighting PAR, dosing, water parameters and good working fish for the tank
I just got the approval from my wife to get another tank setup. Love your videos. Make a video for different budgets or skill levels. I want do a larger tank with a sump, but, I do not know how to.
Video Suggestion, Coming into the hobby 2 years ago I found it hard to find an absolute answer for coral placement. The go to answer is SPS Likes high flow and light. Soft corals are at the lower end, LPS in the middle. Now don't take that for fact, however having a mixed reef it has been all trial and error for me figuring out what works and what doesn't. I'd Like to see a small series on one tank that is mixed and with each coral have a (why) it was put there. Input with a PAR measurement along with flow. Ideas about that corals future growth interacting with other corals. Possibly a coral doesn't like its placement and to see the signs and where you would move that coral. Love the videos!!!!!! New display looks amazing!!! Thank you.
Hey March! Given how much you have traveled how about a video covering what was your favourite trip, or favourite video you have made and what you learned? Thanks for making awesome content!
(I want to start by saying sorry for how long this is lol) I love all of these videos so trying to suggest something is very difficult as you already do an amazing job. However there is one thing I always thought about. It would be great to see a video from start to finish on setting up a tank. Including everything (on detail) that has to do with it. Straight from scratch even down to picking out the rocks and showing how it is scaped and why. For newbies like myself the biggest issue I found is that I could never find a video that really dumbs things down. I was never able to find a video explaining lights, what each colour does and why, or even how big the light(s) need to be and why. Then the videos that I did come across always either used terminology that I didn't know or just give a quick personal preference on what they suggest but never go into detail as to why. All it did was make me way more confused. It was only when I came into Fragbox was I getting the answers that I needed. So having a video for others like me would be awesome. My biggest issue personally is water flow and can never seem to get it right and always deal with a dirty sandbed. I think it is due to my scaping so I would really enjoy a video with lots of details on that. Even your last video where you you gave a small explanation on why you put the rock and where was more helpful then any other video I have ever seen so going into more detail would be great. I have only been in the hobby for just over a year and it has been an amazing trip. Fragbox has helped me so much and while I know I can be taunting at times they always help with every question. I have had a lot of success with my tank because of everyone there. I appreciate it everytime I come in and cannot wait to see the new tank in person.
Awesome longer format video. Thanks for being real on the ends and outs of running an LFS. I have had a dream of opening a shop in my area of West Texas for years, but have more questions than answers. I feel the market is there because the closest store is over 2 hours away, but have my concerns. One big question I have is where to source quality wholesale fish and coral? Which means I would be very interested a series on opening up a shop. Lastly I am glad to see you are thinking of ways to give back and grow the hobby through today’s youth. Keep up the good work.
One thing I've never see in video format is a compendium on Acropora species and how to blend them in aquscapes-- relative heights, growth styles, and how different species can be blended for long-term success based on complimentary growth types. Given many times you buy tiny frags and have to wait a few years to see how they grow, it would be helpful to have more a priori information. Seeing the colonies you get in is much more helpful than photos of tiny frags. The 'fragoon' would be ideal to illustrate options and blends.
My husband and I love watching your channel. We are in the midst of planning our first reef tank and figuring out exactly what our goal is. In this video you said that you love troubleshooting and helping people even if they aren’t your customer. What about a video doing just that? Having a problem/situation and all the steps and advice used to resolve it. We love your channel and that your a fellow Canadian.
Wish I had a shop like yours in my area. Love the reef casa series tanks looking to get one in the future. For video series I’d love to see a video about saving dying corals. We all get in this hobby and we fail. I don’t know how to save them when they start to die like fish.
I would love a video on cycling a saltwater tank as I'm on the verge of doing this after keeping freshwater for years. When to add first fish and first coral and why SPS are harder for beginners than LPS etc.
I got busy with life and let my tank go for over a year! Besides doing a 25% water change once a month and maybe rinsing the filter media I never once cleaned the sand. My Goni's got HUGE! my biggest one has a ball larger than my fist lol. My tanks back in order nowadays so don't judge me.
Good video ideas: You vending at the next Toronto pet expo Set up an aqua scape competition (you can get sponsors) Get a puffer or other smarter fish and teach them tricks A feeding video of your store and general upkeep on what it takes to clean all the tanks Some of the business dealings behind the frags
Great video... just found your Channel and now your store. I would think that a video of fragging sps and lps corals and appropriately attaching them to their new base. Maybe a video on what different lights look like of the same tank, to see what the differences are. That said, more of these videos are always welcomed.
Video Suggestion: Perhaps a series covering rookie mistakes for new hobbyists getting into reefing such as dipping corals, ich/velvet prevention, the importance of QT'ing fish and coral, cyanobacteria and hair algae prevention.
You can do a video series about starting a reef nano tank from cycling to first fish to coral and different bacteria you use to build a great healthy ecosystem .
I don’t think I’ve seen one lately, but maybe videos on inverts and what to get and what not to get along with some of the symbiotic relationships with fish and corals
So proud of you guys! Your tank set up looks better than what competitors have been giving people for twice the price! Been an amazing trip to watch yall grow. Hope they take the hell off and the coral shop becomes the side hobby and the tanks rake in the money. Jealous of some of these guys getting tanks. Want to hook up my 10 year old for a sweet set up. He grew up with my tanks
Just placed my first order with you guys. Look forward to being a life long customer! Would be cool to see some videos of packing up shipments just to see what others are buying.
Video suggestion : for a series: tank tours around Toronto. For a video idea how about ideas of preventing tank crashes or smarter ways of reefing Edit: for longer video format idea ( which I’m a big fan of!!) a vlogcast series of a day of owning a store. So just everyday things you do on a normal day, customers, calls, etc, maintenance you do all done in a regular day.(I understand summer is slow for business but I’m sure now fall-winter should be picking up and more traffic)
Lagoon looking crazy good. would be nice to see more videos on placement of frag/fragsracks, or common mistakes when buying exstra gear for tank like doser, extra light or flow pump an installing on tank
March for the fraglagoon for the sps colonies use a small bit of glue on the sps mounts and when you need to move them then take something to stick under the mount and it pops off east peasy
Would love to see a reef casa sps dominated aquarium. Thinking about setting up one and would love to see how you would do it. Love the videos. Great job
I'm a big fan of your channel, and I have some suggestions for future coral/fish tank videos. It would be great to see content on sump setups, dos and don'ts for smaller tanks, and maybe even how to incorporate a hang-on-back filter. I'm personally interested in building a small sump for my tank, and I'm looking for tips to modify it. Keep up the great work!

I can only enjoy your video because making a seawater aquarium is very expensive compared to a freshwater aquarium
New shallow lagoon is coming along great!
I love coming to the store and shop and learn. And Tia is so helpful
Huge fan of all your videos! Keep up the great reefing content! Cheers!
Great video, March! and a shoutout to our own Jeremy was included too! 😊
I watch all of your vids as they come and I'm picking away at all of you older stuff. I think a video series would be awesome! I would love to see a video about everything zoas from the basic care to fragging to troubleshooting and diseases. Then hammers and so on. That can keep the videos coming for a while.
great to see you March! Amanda says hi!
I would love a video about your coral propagation systems and some fragging.
Id love to see a video on into reef keeping. Equipment to use and what’s mandatory for a starting tank vs what can be added later. As well as lighting PAR, dosing, water parameters and good working fish for the tank
You're really good at looking at a coral and knowing the latin name. I love a set of videos on how to tell the different Acropora species apart.
The lagoon is looking sweet.
You can make a video abour how you do water changes, best flow for corals, rutines when you get to de store,
I just got the approval from my wife to get another tank setup. Love your videos. Make a video for different budgets or skill levels. I want do a larger tank with a sump, but, I do not know how to.
Would love to see a video on the best placement (high, medium, low) and good variety types for a mixed reef tank.
Coral Euphoria uses some acrylic rods to move his colonies in his 140gallon. I'd recommend that for the grow-out tank.
Looking forward to all the new content!❤
Awesome video, really like all of the information, and the longer video is great.
absolutely love the longer videos
Can you do a video on how the hobby was 10 years ago vs now and how its changed and evolved along with what corals and brands were more popular before
I would love a video on cycling a saltwater tank as I'm on the verge of doing this after keeping freshwater for years. When to add first fish and first coral and why SPS are harder for beginners than LPS etc.
How to take pictures of coral's & build a little base sized wall you can mount in place so you can just place and go.
Would love a video series of you going to people houses and showing off their tanks!
Customer interviews and/or best questions from customers
I got busy with life and let my tank go for over a year! Besides doing a 25% water change once a month and maybe rinsing the filter media I never once cleaned the sand. My Goni's got HUGE! my biggest one has a ball larger than my fist lol. My tanks back in order nowadays so don't judge me.
Would love to see a video on why reef casa is the best nano system ever! that is one sweet set up!
how about a video on flow and aquascaping a system for easy cleaning. also love the longer format!
Good video ideas:
You vending at the next Toronto pet expo
Set up an aqua scape competition (you can get sponsors)
Get a puffer or other smarter fish and teach them tricks
A feeding video of your store and general upkeep on what it takes to clean all the tanks
Some of the business dealings behind the frags
Great video... just found your Channel and now your store. I would think that a video of fragging sps and lps corals and appropriately attaching them to their new base. Maybe a video on what different lights look like of the same tank, to see what the differences are. That said, more of these videos are always welcomed.
Man the reefcasa tanks are polished and nice. I gotta save up for one, they look so good!
Plastic golf tees super glued to the frag plug use sand to reinforce the glue or Xmas tree automotive plastic trim fasteners
Video Suggestion: Perhaps a series covering rookie mistakes for new hobbyists getting into reefing such as dipping corals, ich/velvet prevention, the importance of QT'ing fish and coral, cyanobacteria and hair algae prevention.
I would love to see how how to make a really nice reefscape with cement etc..
You can do a video series about starting a reef nano tank from cycling to first fish to coral and different bacteria you use to build a great healthy ecosystem .
Drill holes for frag plugs into the rocks. Just have a lot of drill bits on hands.
Good point on the local store support
Just placed my first order with you guys. Look forward to being a life long customer! Would be cool to see some videos of packing up shipments just to see what others are buying.
Video suggestion : for a series: tank tours around Toronto.
For a video idea how about ideas of preventing tank crashes or smarter ways of reefing
Edit: for longer video format idea ( which I’m a big fan of!!) a vlogcast series of a day of owning a store. So just everyday things you do on a normal day, customers, calls, etc, maintenance you do all done in a regular day.(I understand summer is slow for business but I’m sure now fall-winter should be picking up and more traffic)
This is a top contender video suggestion !
