thank you for coming back to me, i dont have a marine tank at present , did so many years ago, the way the tech and knowledge in the hobby has changed for the better is amazing, not only the hobbist view point but also keeping corals and livestock , its supliers like yourself who care about the hobby and are willing to share the information , that make people like me want to come back into it again , thankyou
Loved this, glad you’re back. 😁 Biggest lesson for me with keeping a mixed reef, you have to be really vigilant and watch your corals for even slight signs they’re unhappy. Do your research into where the corals originate so you can match whatever you are able to about their original habitat. And then, be ready to move stuff around. After over a dozen years in the hobby, I’m still not always successful with that...
Hell of a haul!! How do you keep up with calcium and alkalinity going from a virtually empty frag tank, to an absolutely stuffed tank? I was assume the demand goes up 100x no?
So freaking cool! 😁 I DID WATER CHANGE I want to see more macroalgae content if you can! Or even gorgonians I want a informal video bc I'm just now starting to get into photosynthetic ones! 😂
All the colours look great on the new corals! 👌 much better than some of ur shipments I’ve recieved! Can’t wait to see them in a week or 2 when they’ve settled in 🥰🍻
Hey March love the channel. How do you manage the parameter swings when you get in so much coral? Does it shock the system when you add that much livestock to it?
Hey March, one of my biggest goals in life is to own/operate a reef shop where I live in St Petersburg, Florida. I'm a born entrepreneur with a business degree and a real passion for the hobby. That's a big reason why I love this channel so much because you show the day-to-day of what goes into it. The good, the bad, and the ugly lol. My question for you as an owner is why haven't you opened up business/shipping to the U.S. yet? I assume business would increase drastically because of your relatively large following in the states. I'm sure that most people would be willing to pay the extra shipping/VAT to finally buy your frags as well. From a business perspective, why do you choose to remain domestic? Is it too much work? Can you not satisfy or keep up with that demand yet? Genuinely curious. Thanks!
Great vids March! I do have a question! How come we never see you acclimate/ drip acclimate the newly arrived corals? Is it just because it’s a large amount? Is it ok not to drip acclimate, at home?
I'm just getting back into the hobby as I retired recently. I am in the Buffalo NY area. Is there any reason I can't drive up to your store to buy corals and bring them back here? Is there a problem at the border?
FragBox TV! 🔥🔥🥰❤️ Digzy ❤️❤️❤️ I’m waterchanging on Tuesday/Wednesday this week, tomorrow before I waterchange I’m moving my aquascape around a bit so it’s a bit better 😉👊🍻🥰
@@fragboxcorals waterchange done, got some hermits in the tank now and 2 zoa frags I picked up coz they were bright colours and cheap 😉 rearranged the rockwork to a better scape I think, less space for fish to swim but should be more space for corals to face me overall now 🤔 but tank is doing well, getting a bit of algae but the new hermits are slowly picking away at it 🥰
I know being just a hobbyist in the states I cannot get coral from you (unless you move forward on my coral smuggling underwear idea) but I wondered about the acros you get. You get large chunks and I wanted to know if you sell them that large or do you break them up? People have sd it is only in the states that we do the tiny frags. It was not always like this. I have been in the hobby over 20 years and when I started an expensive baseball size acro would maybe be $100. Now people will sell a inch of the same coral for $200.
You're killing me here. The tips of those acros would be $100 here. Just the tip. Like one of the pieces you sell would get chopped into 20 frags at least and sold for $100 a pop. I'm glad to see you are one who tries to kill people's pockets for no reason. Yes you could make a killing but it hurts the hobby in my opinion. Man I wish I could get coral from you guys. Your selection is so much better and you are so close.
Hopefully this is only an annual trip…. On my first visit to your website I googled “hand picked” and filled my cart. 😮. Watching the video one more time to pick the second part of my cart #coraladdict #allmymoneygoestocoral #shit #bonbonsreef
