Hello! I've made three different videos on how to get your Samsung Icemaker working again. In this video, I briefly describe each video and the issues each video tries to remedy. The last video is about my recent phone call to Samsung and what I said to get Samsung to pay for the parts and labor to fix my 2015 Samsung refrigerator. I include links for each video in the short! You rock! I would never have known how to proceed. I called Samsung, provided my refrigerator details, ‘qualified,’ was put in contact with the servicing contractor for my area, accepted an appointment, contractor came and smilingly made the repair without any problems. The icemaker works at last! Thank you for providing the path to success.

Dod samsung fix it? Was it a permanent fix?
Hello. Samsung did cover the price for the replacement parts and labor. It seems to be working. Hard to tell if it fixed it because the kids keep leaving the fridge door open and it has iced up since the replacement.
Ours makes ice but won't dispense

Okay. Its not the door switch then. It has to be something electrical. Can be anything from a faulty switch to a fried circuit board. Im sorry I couldn’t be much help. Might have to call 1-800-SAMSUNG and see if its covered under warranty.
